ayu being able to work with producers and DJs from all around the world for her maxi singles and remix albums is really a testament to her global impact even outside of japan :D and we got so many good mixes out of it... ayu-mi-x 8 when?!?!

I wish remix can have a good comeback.
Tbh, there are lots of decent remix on tiktok for old songs. Younger audience discovered these old songs via these remixes and those artists got popular again. Stupid avex does not do that.. Sorry they are destroying everything. I dont think ayu mi-x 8 would exist.

if I remember correctly wasn't ayu-mi-x 7 was done on fans request or she had a lot of comments asking when the next one was, and she did it :P

While I generally don’t like when singles and albums use the same photo shoot, I honestly wouldn’t mind at all if the album cover was from the same photo shoot haha. It’s probably one of my favorite pictures of her in a long time. She looks mature and strong and human.

And I looove the preview. It’s a proper “vintage” sound imo. Instead of just sounding like she’s late on a trend (IE some of her EDM releases…), this one (so far) actually sounds like an intentional throwback. Of course it could change lol. But in any case, it’s a direction that aligns with my personal taste haha.

Nice cover. The description read as if it began full force with the winter sound of TK, but the preview has 0 winter vibes as I generally perceive the winter vibes of Ayu to be. Lol. So we’ll see.
