Btw, thanks for the info. ^^

I remember Hammond organs from ELT's "Many Pieces" album, because I was flipping through the booklet yesterday. ^^;;

EDIT: Searched on the Hammond B-3, and found a link that you guys might have some interest in: http://theatreorgans.com/grounds/docs/history.html

MedJohn 10th September 2004 06:01 PM

The remixer is using the hammond to synthesize sounds?

LEOyumi 10th September 2004 06:26 PM

Maybe this Hammond Mix will have an 60's feeling.. o.O I hope it does.

HanabiChick 10th September 2004 07:48 PM

A 60s feel to it would be nice :yes

lovia 10th September 2004 08:12 PM

whether there is a AOV or not, I DUN CARE :D the most important is the original track.. as long as it is nice... that will be... but the Hammond B-3 whisper remix does sound interesting... btw thanx for the infor ^^ ... oh great.. i am looking forward to the release of this single ^^

gogirlanime 10th September 2004 11:56 PM

YAY!! No AOV, I'm getting sick of those, I like ballad remixes, yay two remixes! Thanx for the info

_CREA_ 11th September 2004 12:36 AM

Now that I think about it, it's kind of sad that it's gotten to the point where we're almost crying with joy (okay, slight exaggeration) to have two new remixes...on a single...because Avex has been starving us of them. :dead2

Hm. I am quite happy myself though. :)

Thanks for the news!

ll moments ll 11th September 2004 01:59 AM

CAROLS "Hammond B-3 Whisper"
what's this?

FancySN 11th September 2004 04:09 AM

AAGGHHH!! No!!! A one song single!! :( :( One song singles never sell so well...and they're very....boring.

ohsixthirty 11th September 2004 04:12 AM

Hrm...by the way, how trust-worthy is that site that this tracklisting came from?

bernardation 11th September 2004 04:17 AM

gosh i can't waaaaaaaaaait

luminaire 11th September 2004 04:17 AM

I'm assuming that the "Hammond B-3 Whisper" is a organ remake of the song, just like the "Piano Version" of "Moments". Now that would be really Christmas-y.

Ayu singles were always one-song, FancySN. It's just her summer singles ("A", "H", "&", "INSPIRE") that had more than one song. And "vogue", too, for "ever free".

ImpactBreaker 11th September 2004 04:52 AM

I don't really cry if there are remixes or not. Avex is not hiring the great remixers it did in the past anyway, so I don't really put that much expectations on the remixes. I just expect one nice original song, which is what happens for whoever artist i'm expecting something new of.

~K+ 11th September 2004 05:04 AM

Agreed with what Impact said, with the remixes, if you've heard one, you've heard them all.

Whoever said one song singles sells poorly is oh-so-very-very-wrong.

luminaire 11th September 2004 05:35 AM

If you ask me, I never liked Ayu's 10-track singles - most of the remixes were just generic and plain there. And CMJK should stop remixing for Ayu for a while - his recycling of beats and what not just makes the "Moments" remix sound so... cliche.

Although I wish CMJK would take a few ballad arranging tips from Shima Ken - Shima's arrangement for "Voyage" was beautiful. I'm not saying that CMJK's "forgiveness" was bad, it's just that the sound's not as thick as that for "Voyage".
