no... the main point of this PV is coming to terms with your past... so in the end Ayu is smiling because she has finally accepted her past... In the beginning she is almost haunted by it... and then she learns to confront it, and it doesn't end up being so bad... and the ayu fades away because it symbolises that Ayu has completely come to terms with herself... and isn't haunted anymore


ron234 - no one is wrong here. Ayu's PV's can be interpreted into many ways... I'm sure Ayu does this on purpose... in this PV you can plug whatever part of you that you haven't accepted... who's to say someone doesn't truly accept their homosexuality... they can plug and viola! makes sense ;)

PS - I'm not saying ayu is coming to terms with her homosexuality! we ALL know it's her past self she's dealing with... just thought I'd make that completely clear befroe someone bends my words :rolleyes

I'm confused; I don't have the actual PV but there's screencaps on Eneabba. http://eneabba.net/ayu/video/videoclips/33.Rainbow.htm If, according to ChrisKay, there's an A Ayu and a B Ayu, A Ayu must be the one in pink, B Ayu must be the one in red... but who's the one in orange? Throughout the PV, Ayu wears pink, red, orange, white and black. I'm confused.

Yes she is. Because she has a boyfriend and they've been together for years and years. If that doesn't mean anything for you, that's not my problem.

ayu__is__destiny : well, ignore the colors...her dress change from scene to scene at that pv, maybe to emphasize the "RAINBOW" title...what I mean is the chaser and the chased ones are B & A....the first one to come up at the PV is the A Ayu, and the one that discreetly watching her from distance (like she's going to eat her :lol) is the B ayu....

A Ayu looks fat early on in those Eneabba clips, when she's walking up the steps. She has a fat behind. XD

Yeah Ayu wears different outfits in the PV, well the same outfit different color... I guess she was going for that whole rainbow effect ;)

For your information alot of people that are gay try to have a ;'straight' relationship. So having a boyfriend, getting married, having a kid... doesn't mean that someone could not be gay because there are ALOT of them that try to have what the standards refer to as a 'normal' relationship. SO again, Ayu having a boyfriend means absolutely nothing.

Anyways I'm not saying Ayu is gay though, just trying to prove that you can't say that she's 100% straight, because you can't.

it does look like that in some ways.. but if u try undrstanding deepr in the lyrics you'll realize it's not... its about a person trying to cope up with problems and trying to heal the hurtful past left behind.. and making new life after the rain the rainbow.. which is the new beggining.. for the person.! ^^

well two "SAME" ayu couldn't represent the past and the present ayu....not if we understand the lyrics....we have to check out the translation to understand that she's talking about her past and present...well, she should know that she's hitting on international world, where not everyone can't understand the song, yet the PV is there to help us understand the lyrics...and common people usually come up with the them "lesbian"...well, who knows?

Exactly. When I first saw the pictures of 'A Ballads' I never thought of Ayu with herself being homosexual or anything like that. Just listening to the track listenings, it was obvious that the pictures are about her in a way comforting herself and like someone said above, that she's controling herself. That's my opinion on the whole thing.
