Besides, didn't Ayu donate several million yen to the queen to help with drug reform or something? And how about all those smiling pictures we saw? I seriously doubt the queen would pose with Ayu if she disrespected her.

depend_ayu 26th January 2003 05:20 PM

I'm live in Thailand and I never heard that news at all

Grass Monkey 26th January 2003 05:51 PM

Well, I guess that settles it as fake news. Major disrespect to royalty would be news that spreads like wildfire, especially in the nation it took place in. Ah, it's probably the Chinese nativism taking over..

Grantith 26th January 2003 07:46 PM

depend_ayu you made my DAY!!!!!! If you haven't heard any news about that, then we almost know for sure that it's fake! If something bad happened with Ayu in Thailand, then I'm sure the news would be all over Thailand. And since it's not, we can be assured that it's just tabloid crap! We don't know with 100% certainty, but we have a good idea about it. Thanks so much for telling us depend_ayu!

kazuni 26th January 2003 08:18 PM

exactly. if depend_ayu haven't heard of the news, chances are the media in japan, and the "disclaimer from appledaily" are misleading. If ayu is serious about this matter, i think avex / herself could have got a lawyer and solve the "accusations" all together - well, too bad that the accusations are not that serious or else this lawsuit would definitely came effective and tells the media not to "make up stuff" ...

bulmasman 26th January 2003 08:23 PM

I feel so releaved after hearing that. I just know Ayumi would not be like that.

samuraiDRIVE 27th January 2003 03:00 AM

I know I'm a bit slow with this, but anyway -- Haven't we learned that Apple Daily just posts bad stuff about artists to get sales? They're exactly like a tabloid. One thing is said, and they morph the truth. The problem is free speech. There's too much. I say Ayu sues them for libel and defamation of character. Injuring staff? Ayu's a twig... but she's a cute one. She's like, 5'2 and 100 lbs. I'm almost positive that she can't injur anyone.

And if she was so rude, I'm pretty sure the queen would refuse to give her the ambassador label. As would the parliment...

trainspotter01 27th January 2003 04:16 AM

actually i'm pretty sure that she would be in jail rite now if she actually did those disrespectful stuff

Piccolo 27th January 2003 05:01 AM

Haha Ayumi would probably go to jail or be punished if all that stuff was true !! The morale of this story? Apple Daily is horse crap. 'Nuff said :)

romi9 28th January 2003 02:51 AM

Hi everyone, I am new here... I saw these news over at some other forums...and I make enquires to my friends in Thailand, this is entirely not true! Her reply:

after the reserch...from many source...I believe that it's not true. All the people that met Ayumi said that she is very very friendly and kind...she let her fans take a photo and give them her signature and I spot lots of mistake in this news...
first Princess Ubolratt Mahidol is not a queen...our queen is Sirikit Mahidol...and princess Ubolratt left the royal family for very long time ago so the princess is just ordinary person.Anyway, princess Ubolratt is King's daughter so I think in any enviroment, everyone would pay a respect to her(Japan also has King too so I think it sounds weird that Ayu DISrepect a royal family)

>The relevant department arranged for a Thai dance group for a dance as a greeting to her, but she waved aside the performance.
-My friend went there and they all say it's not true...this also aired on TV too.

>She was reportedly said that "You want me to kneel before the queen? No way!"
-I'm sure no one ask her to do this...cos princess Ubolratt is an ordinary person and as for a foreigner...they don't have to do this...even to a King.

>Ayu left quietly during the dinner after meeting the queen
-My friend followed Ayumi everywhere...and this is not in her schedule...I mean when Ayumi was in Thailand, she didn't have a dinner after meeting princess Ubolratt
-----

I feel the need to disprove this, cuz I have met Ayu in person, and she has been really nice and cool. >_< I hate it when these tabloids make up such vicious story just to sell their magazines. I thank my friend Ine for checking things up for me. Ayu fans united! And down with the tabloids...>_<

nmskalmn 28th January 2003 03:01 AM

Thanks for the welcome nmskalmn. I plan to stay at AHS, always been reading news from here, and I finally registerd myself today. :)

kazuni 28th January 2003 03:10 AM

yeah. There are always proof to these tabloids and here is the proof, romi's friend. People should ahve recognize by now that medias tries to gain popularity and sales by smearing the stories that they got / created to an extend that is too over-doing.

Thanks for your reply romi and depend_ayu, much appreciated.

Ibitsu Kokoro 28th January 2003 03:14 AM

Ok! I can't beleive you could say ayu is stuck up!!!! Ayu is so UNstuckup. Brittney spears is SEX SEX SEX. Ayu is NICE CUTE ORIGNINAL. Ayumi is one of the few artists that says she loves her fans and MEANS IT!!! Ayumi singing at her concerts is no big deal. (well it is but...) Ayumi might bring a teddy bear with her though.. Ayumi has already aknowledged it false and APOLOGISED for it's lies coming out!!!!! I don't think you belong on this forum if you think ayumi is stuck up. This forum tends to like ayu more as a PERSON then as a SINGER so please leave if you don't like ayumi, or know what you're talking about....
Grr.....

mimika 28th January 2003 03:58 AM

i've read like a same article on ayu on both appledaily and other chinese newspaper..and you can see just how biased appledaily is......i dun wanna comment on the truthfulness..'cus i really ain't there to know the truth...but appledaily is absolutely a paper without the necessarily attitude as a newspaper...itz sooo biased and written by dumbheads-like language and attitude

fantaisie.sign 28th January 2003 04:03 AM

Again, thanks for proving the tabloids untrue, depend_ayu and romi9.

That goes to show that reporters are willing to sink as low as they possibly can to make up a good story, which refers to my comment about the lengh of time it took Apple Daily "and company" to devise such a story. This happened last year and they're just now releasing false reports about it. As crazy as it sounds, some people are just out there to see celebrities fail and drop in popularity especially those who rank very highly in popularity like Ayu.

Biscuitgirl 28th January 2003 05:33 AM

Thank you, Romi9 for taking the time to prove the tabloids wrong. How incredibly goofy they are, huh? So many mistakes!

Grantith 28th January 2003 12:09 PM

Thanks so much romi9!!!! That is very nice to hear. And welcome to AHS :wave We really appreciate you posting that info!!!! Those damn Chinese dabloids

ETeRNITYAyumi 28th January 2003 12:53 PM

hiro 28th January 2003 03:28 PM

Ummm you guys should really stop posting news like this. I know its your duty to report but this is piece of news is as good as a rotting apple core. People might get the wrong idea.
