They're not releasing faster than Japan doing,actually you should say HK and Japan get the releases at the same time.
The album was on sale in Japan at silent nite(24/12 2005) and shipped to HK on the same day.
We call them "Water goods",they will be more expensive than the normal goods....

I've noticed yeasterday that CDjapan sold out first press edition of CD only version. There wasn't necessarity to hurry up with order because OS versions contain photobooks too and what's the best other versions of japanese release will contain photobooks too :innocent

do u know where in hk stock these japanese cds other than hmv can get it?

uhm..can i ask how much of a difference are the prices of the japan version and overseas version???

I could tell u what's the different for instance of YesAsia:
Japanese albums cost half more expensively than overseas. For ex.:
MY STORY (CD only)
- JPN - US$29.75 <-- expensive
- HK/TW OS - US$17.99 <-- cheap
- Korean OS - US$12.99 <-- cheaper (less than half of JPN price)

I've personally seen the CD in the shops of Mongkok yesterday, i'm also sorry to tell you guys that the covers indeed look grainy, lol......
but the package is simply amazing and is exactly the same as the pics in this thread!

You're right, I thought it would be more logical that the CD+DVD version was going to ran out faster but *honestly* the photobook with the best cover is the CD only one, as they say, you can't judge a book by it's cover... I was starting to get greedy and wanted both versions just for the photobooks but I should use that money to buy other stuff, and let's hope that all of the OS versions include the photobook and not only as a first press, that it will always come like this, there are still websites where they sell the OS versions of MY STORY with the 4 different covers. :yes

Besides, don't worry too much, I remember when they uploaded the preorder for the Kill Bill Volume 2 Premium Box, in a few hours there wasn't more available, but by next day they had more and more and they still carry the Premium Box (unfortunately the don't carry Vol. 1 Premium Box anymore :( )

i havent been to the shops yet, but i think this is the japanese version as the OS version is released after the japanese version
