it's amazing how we catch such little things(in a good way)... personally i don't mind the album version but like the rest of you said single version is way better.

*merry belated christmas*

Oh wow... O.O

single version sounds better IMO.

I was listening to the album version of 'fairyland' and it sounds a bit different too. I think they added a few instruments in the background....

elvis810 26th December 2005 09:39 AM

they changed many things and arrangement in alterna, i can tell~! not only the heys part! they changed some instruments in the background!

I don't like the whole muffled sound to this version of alterna, I have to strain my ears to hear it, not easy to listen to. Single version is better. I was beginning to think that the strong tracks might make this album a bit better than MY STORY, I just think they're equal now. I'll probably end up burning the tracks I like and the better version of alterna to another CD instead of listening to the actual CD.

alterna ... I'm fine with the album version. But the single version comes across as being more forceful and clear. The muffled sound doesn't appeal that much to me, and I have NO IDEA why Avex even bothered to implement changes to the song. (To attract people to buy the CD? But there're no signs and indications of that)

in fact, the album ver has no difference from the single ver, some fans changed it.if u has listened the 320k mp3 one,u will find nothing happened

Geminik 26th December 2005 03:31 PM

If the singles n album are 100% the same, then there's no fun in collecting both dun u think?

stardusties 26th December 2005 07:35 PM

so .. hold on. the section of the song from the file posted on this thread - where was it takenn from? the actual album actually physically the album or an upload that is supposedly off the album? is this 320k mp3 u speak of definitely off the album? lol how funny would it be if Qsenwill is right and we all got fooled by some crafty fans :dead2

I like the album version better. The volume is much more balanced and easier to listen to.

everlastingRAINBOW 27th December 2005 05:56 AM

I noticed the alterna version to be different, but i was too lazty to post XD

Delirium-Zer0 27th December 2005 08:22 AM

I'm with j_nerd.

And i'm more inclined to believe this is real and not fan-made; on LOVEppears there were also alot of album mixes with only slight tweaking from the single versions. I can think of two reasons this could be; either because ayu was somewhat dissatisfied with the original, or because they lost the master copies of the original mix and had to get someone to come in and mix it all over again.

ohsixthirty 27th December 2005 02:55 PM

sounds pretty much the same to me, lol!

Surreal 27th December 2005 03:51 PM

man the album version hey hey heys sound pretty..stupid

*Petit* 27th December 2005 05:11 PM

Does anyone HAVE the actual album? And the single?

Baernash 27th December 2005 06:20 PM

Yeah, album version is different. Personally I prefer single version more because backing vocal is not so much muffled at included album version.
