Unbelieveble, I read in 2ch that in Ayu peak, 2001-2002, her pricetag was only 50 million yen! And the highest-paid celebrity was Morning Musume at 100million yen per deal (Ayu pricetag now). That make sense, I mean, Morning Musume, as a group, payed more taxes than Ayu in the early 2000s.

Oh, and for those who wanted to know how much Namie Amuro gets, in 2002 she got the same as Ayu's: 50 million per deal. But I don't think she has any CM deal now, does she?

Utada Hikaru and Koizumi Kyoko pricetag were 80million yen each in 2002, that means their pricetag went 20million yen up in 4 years. Ayu pricetag went 50million up!!

Seriously, filming CMs for well known, international brands such as electronic components manufacturers or car manufacturers is a really good gig. A really good income no matter who you are (obviously, if you're a celebrity, the wages are incompareably higher, but still, you do get a lot).
