SHE WAS NEVER FAT! She always had the perfect body and I liked her, no, LOVED HER that way. I think she was sexiest on the cover of BLENDER.

I hate you

I didn't really like Raise Your Voice to tell you the truth. I too immediately thought "This album is going to have a ton of singles" when I listened to it because it is so good but needless to say I was and am still dissapointed that many of the great songs didn't get exposed to the public.

Could someone please retitle this "The Official Hilary Duff Thread"? I figure that it should be since we don't have one for her yet.

The commercial for her new fragrance debuted recently, and it features her newest song, "With Love". It's somewhat similar to the style of "Play With Fire" in that it's also somewhat in the electronica and dance genre. The full video hasn't premeired yet, but I love the song already. The album is to be released in February (correct me if I'm wrong), and hopefully it will sell very well. I'm not sure how it will do though, now that Aly & AJ and Hannah Montana have become the new Disney pop singer sensations (but Hannah can't do crap).

Hilary was chubby way back like when she was with disney LOL. she didn't sign another contract with Disney she left them to do her own thing and the music she wanted to do. But i am shocked of her new song "With Love"its a new style and i hated all her music lol but this song might have won me over

I agree with the other member who said it kinda does fit. I mean, electronica and dance music has NEVER been about strong vocalists. Why do you think Madonna's last album, although mediocre at best, was her most successful in years? She can't sing, but she relied on dance beats and her typical cheezy lyrics to make some vapid, yet infectious songs. Hilary is an entertainer. I don't love her, but I think some of her songs are catchy, even if they aren't quality songs. And to me, that's fine.

I've been a fan of Hilary Duff since her very first music video on disney ^o^ I luv her new song with love! I like Hilary's new sound. She's free to do whatever she wants and i'm glad she's taking a risk with this new dance music.

I used to like Hilary Duff. Only for a short time. The whole Lizzie McGuire thing was cool. And I liked the movie. I also kinda liked her debut album but then I just lost interest in her.

truehappiness 20th February 2007 12:00 PM

LOL.

Her new album, "Dignity."

I like the covers.

spookshow 21st February 2007 07:13 AM

i'm actually looking forward to her new album -- i've never really been into Hilary Duff's new stuff, but this newer electropop-ish stuff is pretty damn funky! i hope her new album has more of that stuff

Her "new stuff" is the electropop :)

I'm not a huge fan of those covers though. You would think that an electronica-inspired album might have something more flashy, but I guess not :(

Zeke. 23rd February 2007 12:17 AM

Those are the Japan only covers. Much better than the US ones...

Kaiouforever 23rd February 2007 04:31 AM

Yeah I think the Japan only covers are WAY better than the US one...she looks so ugh in it!

Anyway, "With Love" is a great song! Definitely one of her better ones in recent times, and way better than play with fire imho.

Hilary Duff Is Set To Debut anywhere between #1 - 5 depending on how the rest of the sales week goes

Timbaland is ready to step out from his producer’s chair for a new solo album, which could just put him at #1 next week, according to reports from our crack-addled retail reporting network.
The much-in-demand hip-hop producer’s new Mosley Music Group/ Blackground/ Interscope album, Timbaland Presents Shock Value, will challenge for the top spot on next week’s chart with a total approaching 140k, which should put it neck-and-cowboy hat with Tim McGraw for #1.

Three divas, one country, the others pop and R&B, could profit from strong Easter sales to challenge the two guys. SBMG Nashville chanteuse Martina McBride’s latest, Waking up Laughing, could have her doing just that next week, with a shot at 120k. Hollywood Records’ Hilary Duff is all grown up on Dignity, which is also heading towards 120k . Finally, Beyonce releases a deluxe version of her hit Music World/Columbia/CRG album, B’day, which should add 100-110k to her total, featuring the hot new duet with Shakira, “Beautiful Liar.”

Asylum rapper Paul Wall appears to be all up in your grill with an estimated first-week total of 80-90k for the Houston hip-hop star with the gold teeth’s aptly titled Get Money, Stay True album

Mercury Nashville’s Live at Texas Stadium, featuring country superstars Alan Jackson, George Strait and Jimmy Buffett, looks to be in the 50-55k range, the same total for bluegrass star Alison Krauss’ greatest hits album for Rounder, A Hundred Miles or More: A Collection

RCA’s southern rock critical darlings Kings of Leon return with the acclaimed Because of the Times, which seems headed for an impressive 40-45k in first-week sales.

Next Tuesday’s (4/10) releases include Cassadaga, the eagerly anticipated new album from Bright Eyes phenom Conor Oberst, on Omaha indie Saddle Creek.

The market was up almost 5% vs. last week, down over 15% vs. same week last year and now down between 16-17% year-to-date.

I took a peek of Hilary's Japanese website and they have the spread of her Maxim appearance in the news section...
she looks outstanding in the black-and-white picture.

that photoshoot looks great! however in the colour ones, it almost looks as if she has a bit too much fake tan on... her colour is a bit weird...

watched her performance of Stranger on So you think you can dance on youtube -- and she was great! i only wish she had learnt a few more bellydancing moves

The songs on her album were acutally good. I didnt see it coming from her. She really shocked me with this ablum I love it it's great.

JesA 20th July 2007 05:23 AM

OMG i saw her today on a magazine at the gym and she looks awesome! btw, does anyone else love No Work All Play as much as i do? That's my favorite song on Dignity...i really wish it could be the next single, but it wont be. The next single is sure to either be Gypsy Woman or Dignity. Grr even though they said they would release a lot of singles for this album, im starting to think that No Work All Play, Happy, and Burned wont get released...*my top three*
