Actually, It does look plain--It just looks like an expensive empty apartment. But I bet her room is more Ayu-style then the rest of her apartment.

Her deck though (Top-left Pic) looks awesome, from all the way up there. I want that deck. :P

I believe it was in the news right when she bought the new apartment, which was at least a year ago, so that could explain how plain it looked at the time.

Hopefully Ayu's place looks NOTHING like Mariah Carey's place >.> I hated that episode of Cribs. I'm sure Ayu's is more classy.

Actually suprising as it may be most of the Japanese POP stars don't live in big mansions like the stars in the states. Most of them live in plain old upscale homes.

Houses in Japan are EXTREMELY expensive....
Besides, Ayu's apartment is in her favorite place - right across from Shibuya 109 district = MEGA MONEY...lol.

I think it's very unlikely that there will be another shot of Ayumi's house again. As others have said, those pics were taken right around the time that she bought the place. She seems to be a fairly private person (no matter how bubbly or open she seems on paper or in concert).

I agreed that Japanese singers aren't REALLY into the luxurious mansions like the American singers. Of course, Ayu surely has the money but usually they spend it on something else, which i have no idea.

I heard it's in Roppongi/Roppingi Hills in central Tokyo. Read it was at least 100 million yen (value of property). Don't know if it's a house or a condo
