wow this is interesting! Secret has not even been released and someone is using the music.. it jus shows that Secret sounds nice and is such an awesome song such that they wanna copy it :P

Ayu should sing the song in Chinese instead :P

wow if this really is the chinese version of secret, then i can't wait to here ayu's version! I found myself liking the mandarin version already at first listen, so i wish ayu can stick with the arrangement so that the album can have an "grand" type of ballad, to add variety and so that it would be different from the acoustic piano style of jewel

after joining the new company, denise found herself to be flavoured by the boss. After letting her act in a theatre drama, which was Denise's wish, the company spent a million dollars in Oct for her 3 shows of concert. Although Denise had not yet the chance to shoot a movie, but the boss had named her to sing the theme song for a movie that will be aired during christmas. The hongkong version will be titled 《傷城》, while the china version will be titled 《傷城悲哀》. The japan version of this song is sung by Ayumi Hamasaki.

The hongkong and china version of the song will the original version done by Ayumi Hamasaki 'Secret', but the lyrics will be different. Ayumi Hamasaki had been very strict about lead singer, therefore Avex Japan had sent out 8 staff from higher authority to listen to denise's singing. after listening to her, they felt that denise who knows piano and guitar can pull off the song well.

Due to the fact that the movie company is in a hurry to get the song, denise recorded the song after resting for a day. Although she's very tired, denise managed to record the song in a couple of hours. denise said, 'The melody is so beautiful. I can't believe that i will be singing the same song as Ayumi Hamasaki, i felt so honoured! I do hope that i will have chances in the future to work with her.'

Ever since Denise joined East Asia Music, she has been doted on by her boss Lam Kin Ngok Peter. Previously in order to fulfill Denise’s wish, he took the risk and allowed her to produce a musical; and in October he pumped in over a million dollars for her to hold 3 nights of concert. Although Denise has yet to have the chance to shoot a movie, she has recently again received her boss’s recognition, and was selected to sing the Hong Kong and China version of the theme song <Wounded City Secret> for Christmas mega film <Confession of Pain>. The Japanese version would be performed by Ayumi Hamasaki.

The music for the Hong Kong and China version of the theme song would be same as the one composed by Ayumi Hamasaki <Secret>, lyrics however would be written again. Ayumi Hamasaki has always been strict in choosing the singer that would be singing the songs that she composed. Hence she specially sent 8 people from the management of the record company she belongs to, Japan Avex, to Hong Kong to watch Denise’s concert. All of them were full of praises for Denise after the concert, saying that she knows how to play the piano and the guitar, thus definitely will be able bring out the song's emotion with her singing.

As the film company needs the theme song urgently, Denise started recording the song after resting for a day after her concert. Despite being exhausted, professional Denise managed to finish the recording within a few hours. Denise said satisfyingly, “The song’s melody is beautiful, really cannot imagine I am able to perform the same piece of work as Ayumi Hamasaki, I feel very honored, wish that in future there would be more chances for collaboration”. As for whether the lyric is written by long time friend Wyman, Denise replied, “No, he is very busy; found someone who has collaborated with me before to write instead”.

I guess they like the original arrangement so they're sticking with it...and plus they have premission too so why not?
