^what!!! SD9999 for buying nothing is even more ridiculous.....that person must be very bored

Ayu_Jayson 14th April 2007 07:00 PM

Would u pay $8000 USD for set of Ayu 3-inch CDs?

Yo. Happened to chance upon this while looking for Ayu products.

This is the page: http://sg.auctions.yahoo.com/sg/i:Ay...20Set:82138127

I havent seen anything like this though. They're very rare? Anyone from AHS has these? They look cool. This is the most expensive and perhaps over-priced Ayu product I've seen.

Oh, hope this doesnt violate the forum rule of advertising. If it does, sorry.

slowmoth 14th April 2007 07:03 PM

It's history but... no :)

Tasked 14th April 2007 07:04 PM

they are rare and worth alot; but not THIS much

Ayu_Jayson 14th April 2007 07:06 PM

3-inch size CDs I didnt know they were in use. Does the size have any meaning to it? When I saw $8000 USD was just the starting bid price I was like "whaaat?" Judging from the cover looks, they're most definitely outta print for a long time so wanna hear opinions on the normal price tag for those CDs.

JaysenRyan 14th April 2007 07:15 PM

rediculous. i wouldn't pay 8,000 for anything on this planet, cept a house or car, maybe a trip to japan.

tomoko-stepyou 14th April 2007 07:30 PM

^Pretty much summed it all up. And why buy them? You can get those songs from here, and ok a collectible, so that means you may choose to sell them again, and hope they go up in value, but I don't think many of us would consider going over $1000 for some ayu cds, so you'd probably never get back the $8000 you spent now. Hope this wasn't too unclear

And come on, these aren't even Nothing from Nothing era. These were released 9 years ago, under avex. You go to Japan, look hard enough, I don't see why they won't be availiable there for about $6 each. And those added to the price of a trip to japan, is gonna be less than the price on that auction. Good luck to the leech who is selling those for that much

Ayu_Jayson 14th April 2007 07:47 PM

$6? Now thatz more like it haha.

ayumisrael 14th April 2007 07:53 PM

If I was rich, I would order them asap ^_^.

Ayu_Jayson 14th April 2007 07:59 PM

I wonder how will Ayu react if she sees this? Lol. She might be shocked!

Lol @ ayumisrael

Chibi_Venus 14th April 2007 08:09 PM

Eight thousand? Three zeros, right? No way. That's a ridiculous price. Whoever's buying them must be a hard-core Ayu fan ... or just doesn't want anyone else's grubby hands on them.

Eason's probably buying them, because we all know he's just the biggest fan of Ayu's.

I don't think I'd pay that much if they were only $100.

ayu1m 14th April 2007 08:26 PM

Kinda old news :)

Ayu_Jayson 14th April 2007 08:27 PM

Oh haha thanx. Since Jan no buyers still lol.

jpopfan 14th April 2007 10:37 PM

i want those singles but i would never pay that much for them lol. eh Im going to Japan this year so maybe i can find them somewhere there lol

yatsuda 15th April 2007 01:35 AM

If you're lucky you can find them at Book Off or other used CD shops. I got Depend on You at Book Off, after searching their boxes of 3cm singles (they weren't sorted!). Poker Face, YOU and Love~Destiny I got recently, through Amazon.co.jp Market Place, used but in good condition. There's a good price range (from 100 yen to 1600 yen), depending on how good of a condition you want your singles in. And I was lucky a few years ago to get the rest at Amazon.co.jp... all new and sealed (they re-appeared, for some reason).

And I've written it before, no way I'd pay that much money for the whole set! Ridiculous!

Ayu_Jayson 15th April 2007 06:16 AM

Precisely yatsuda, I'm wondering if that person is sincerely selling or joking with such a price tag. If that set is a 1 of 1 set, meaning only one set existed in the whole world, perhaps that price is a little logical. For mass-produced goods, snowball's chance in hell lol.

But hey, let's see who goes for the bait, haha.

:thud

Surreal 16th April 2007 05:12 AM

crazy.

yatsuda 16th April 2007 05:49 AM

I haven't checked out the details, but are those singles all "new" and sealed? If it's the case, the price would be higher... but THAT MUCH money?? Unbelievable.

LacusClyne 16th April 2007 07:14 AM

no, they are not new, i had send the seller a msg to ask. they are not
