I just watched the PV from the YT link, and it was a surprisingly good song. The PV was slightly dull, but I definitely love how she combined the traditional and modern musical elements. She looks SO beautiful too.

I think Hitomi Shimatani & BONNIE PINK aren't really that much of a competition when it comes to breaking into top10 on Oricon ...

I think Satomi's debut is a success if the sales amount to atleast 40k, but anything above 20k is tolerable for a debut. the tie-in may add so much chart longevity it's not going to be easy to tell how much the single will sell from the first day sales & daily rankings ...

Most idol's vocals aren't very good at the debut. I'm sure she will improve like other people.

It was a decent performance. There weren't any funky notes or anything like that, but it wasn't particularily powerful. If Max says she is to be the next big thing, her voice should really be more powerful (like Kuu, Ayu, Namie, or Hikki).

Her voice is pretty good! She has nice tone. :)

I think she looks and also sounds like F.I.R's Faye.

Satomi's got two new TV appearances lined up - "MUSIC FAIR21" on 6/2 and "MUSIC JAPAN" on 6/8. I'm still trying to find her MelodiX! performance, too...

VERANDA no hana is a nice song too but it's maybe a little too mellow, and the "Town mix" of Tabibito is sorta pointless. it's just basically a slightly different edit of the original song with some old guy talking in the beginning of the song.

regardless, Tabibito is a great song & it's nice to finally hear it in cd-quality and 4 & half min length :yes
