PEACH / HEART is in the top 10 for a third week! This week it's #9 with sales of 16,875 which brings the total amount to 114,689.

LOL, it would be very surprising and unexpected etc. :D Unfortunately, PEACH / HEART will most likely not sell another 45,000 copies. :(

^ Yes, me too! :) I'm glad it ended up doing as well on the charts as it did last week. At this rate, it'll outsell "CHU-LIP" for sure....hopefully it gets to around 150k or more.

Well, PEACH / HEART just won't give up. It's only down two spots to #11 and it sold 13,633 copies this week, bringing the total amount to 128,322.
If the drops in sales continue at this pace, it might just have a chance at cracking 150k.

Not a surprise since Ai is known to be a steady seller.

I would say it's a surprise since she hasn't had a number 1 single since "Planetarium". She's a steady seller in that her singles always break 100,00 but CHU-LIP and previous singles fell off the Top 20 more quickly. I would say the part that isn't a surprise is that because HanaKimi is a popular drama, it's helping to boost up the sales. Ikenai Taiyou is hangin' in there too.

^They might have fallen the TOP 20 quicker, but they still chart for a long time. Out of her 5 LOVE PiECE singles, only Renai Shashin failed to sell more than double its first week. (While PEACH/HEART hasn't done so either, it definitely will in the end)

As for the #1 thing, it's really all about who's releasing. All 4 of her singles between Planetarium and PEACH/HEART were against a Johnny's group. (Arashi twice, SMAP once and a special Johnny's unit once)
