downloading her new album right now..hope its good

The album is really good! I heard it and it gets 8/10 from me.
it lacks the 2 points because Angela is only one styled though she does it amazing.

^Well, what's she supposed to do now? A song like "BUT?" I think there are major style differences between TODAY and Home.

judgin' from the previews yah there's a def change in styles...i haven't listened to the album yet cuz i wanna wait for my copy to arrive in another few wks along w/ LOVE PiECE XD omg now u'r all gonna talk bout how awesome the album is and i'll be kept in the dark...lol >.<

MY TAKE:

1. Sakurairo - DUH AN AMAZING SONG! love how it connects to HOME and that PV is <3 10/10
2. Again - Gd! its typical Angie-fast-pop..it shocked me why she suddenly went so soft.. o.o 9/10
3. TODAY - TO TO TO TODAY! awesomeee..light hearted song 10/10
4. Ai no Uta - Ok..better than how i tot it would sound..wads with the ba-ee-oo at the back. =.= 7.5/10
5. Tashika ni - Wonderful!! impressed me... 10/10
6. Silent Girl - o well...filler 4/10
7. MORAL no soushiki - UNiQue!!! finally something which feels NEW! (reminds me of Prague no Onna from Shimatani) 9.5/10
8. Otome Gokoro - ok...light hearted as well...6.5/10
9. One Melody - beautiful! yet again...haha 7.5/10
10. Tomo no Shirushi - norm...ok...5.5/10
11. Kodoku no Kakera - BAH! who doesnt love this song? >8( haha 10/10
12. On & On - GD song! "Dreams go on and on and on" 9/10

she should skip that pseudo-poppish sound for her singles and go straight for piano with some orchestral arrangements. no matter how different the melodys are, overall her singles are all the same kind. fortunately, her album has some calmer pieces.

I can't state my opinion on the album yet, since I need to get deeper into TODAY. and yeah, it is different from HOME... somehow.

No, that's why I can't critisize her but I do like artists that can do at least 2/3 different sorts of styles and not just single one, but as I said she does it amazing, so it's almost perfect.

One Melody is just beautiful. Probably my favourite track.

Moral no Soushiki is amazing!! I love it!

Surrender is also another beautiful song! good way to close the album.

The only song I don't really like is Tomo no Shirushi. Other than that, the singles were amazing already, and the rest of the album tracks are just as lovely. I actually feel it's a different style from Home but it's not as great as Home.

I love this album. It is so great. I love every song on it. I don't see why some don't like Tomo no Shirushi, It 's one of the best. I wish I had some money to buy this album. I would like it have. I hope it tops the charts.

1. Sakurairo - what can I say? best track to be the opening~
2. Again - I am in awe at how great it sounds on CD. the PV rip somehow dumbed down the quality of the higher end of the instruments in this song. Love this song to death.
3. TODAY - WOW! I just love the catchiness of this song! She made the best ending too... (The layering of all the parts).
4. Ai no Uta - Great song... love the flow.
5. Tashika ni - really liked this song when it came out.. but each time I listen to it, it sounds more and more commercial.
6. Silent Girl - haha, this song has the exact style of 大袈裟に愛してる in her HOME album. However, I enjoy this more than that. haha
7. MORAL no soushiki - wowwwww, this song is my current favourite song! I really love the proud feeling in this song... from the previews, I thought it would be really classical (which is a good change from her usual style) throughout the song. Love the many changes in this song!
8. Otome Gokoro - love this kind of style. laid back and sounds like something that HY (anyone heard of this Japanese indie band? seriously a band worth listening to) would sing.
9. One Melody - the chorus almost sounds exactly to another song that I presently can't remember. haha, but still a good song.
10. Tomo no Shirushi - sounds okay. not as memorable as the others.
11. Kodoku no Kakera - loved it when it came out.
12. On & On - a praise-like song with such a driving force. Love how this song fades out instead of having a proper ending... symbolize the On&on-ness... lol
13. Surrender - worst song from her seriously... the poetry in this song totally ruins it. AABB in songs just doesn't work out for me. It almost sounds like a tongue-twister... D:

i dun like up-beat songs from her, e.g tashika ni, again, today...i think they sounded silly ^_^;

however, i loved it from she uses her soul-ful voice on those powerful n touching ballads e.g sakurairo, kodoku no kakera, one melody, surrender...

in any case, i dun think TODAY is any better than HOME.

i still need to listen to the new tracks a bit more, but i LOVE moral no soushiki! it's so unique! but i think Home is the better album from what i hear.

REVIEW TIME!!!:

1. Sakurairo - loved the song when it came out. it's a great opening =3
2. Again - kinda a different song to come out of from sakurairo. i like it, but i didn't really like how she repeated you and i in love again twice. it kinda irks me, but oh well. still good song
3. TODAY - wow. very different. VERY. i like it alot. especially the chorus
4. ai no uta - the beginning reminds me of one of mika's YES tracks. i think it might have been the dividing line, but still. not really interested in it, kinda plain actually =(
5. tashika ni - something different from angela. wow. i like it, very refreshing
6. silent girl - it's nice the first time, but not too memorable to me. an ok track.
7. moral no soushiki - ok, this is like, THE BEST song on earth. hands down. the guitar gives it such a dark feeling, and the piano is very haunting. and then that scream. or was that a guitar riff? it sounds so chilling one way or another.
8. otome gokoro - a BIT like moral no soushiki, but that might be just cuz i've never really heard any of her songs with crazy guitars. the name (in my opinion) was kinda like a misnomer, cuz i was expecting more frilly lacy flowery piano, and not a guitar opening. still a good song.
9. one melody - once again, a nice song but not very memorable.
10. tomo no shirushi - a nice song. i really did have images of two friends together. the melody was really nice
11. kodoku no kakera - loved it
12. on & on - loved it
13. surrender - it wasn't a your love song, but it was nice. i thought that the fact that i couldn't understand angela AT ALL (@.@; i might be just sleep-deprived) kinda ruined it XP
