"Lyudi Invalidy" is one of my favorite pop albums ever, so hopefully this new one will be right up there with it.

PS) Who else thinks "Chto Ne Khvatayet" is pure dystopian-pop perfection? That one never fails to impress me, no matter how many times I've heard it.

Uh, they have an American album for every Russian album they do, it's just the last one Dangerous and Moving didn't sell much. You can still buy it just about anywhere though. I see it all over.

And they're releasing another one early next year.

As much as it sucks not having many updates or sneak peaks at their new stuff, I like that the album hasn't leaked yet. When D&M leaked, I tried really hard not to listen to it, and when it's not there, it's easier to not do that ^^ I don't think that Interscope/Universal tried very hard to promote their second album at all in the US because they were focusing on everywhere else. I know it sucks, but a lot of people only see them as one hit wonders here :(

Yeah, i think part of the reason is just that people in America have different tastes to those in Europe... or at least thats how it appears to me -- just compare what does well in Britain/France/Russia with what does well in America -- totally different.

such a shame though! (not that i want t.A.T.u. to change their style!)

I assumed the bases of the thing is that both girls are prostitutes and one gets caught while the other is forced to watch her friend die. Other people are just as confused as to what it means, especially since it hints that Lena's character has an alternate life. But I don't think I really caught onto the story of the video (well, no one really has).

Someone else stated that when Lena pulls into the detention center a man is waving a bible at the car and that Yulia drinks wine to cleanse herself and the baby of sins (there was also the cleansing motif when Yulia showers after getting angry and throwing her tooth brush at the mirror).

I just love the sex appeal in the video, Usually it's Yulia who is the sexy one, not Lena. I also like that this video is actually good. The videos from DM/LI were awful! I didn't even really care for All About Us.

Holy...that was a great video. The ending was really interesting.

Idk, the video made sense to me. Lena = Security Guard Yulia = Death Row Inmate, and Lena gets ready throughout the video to go to the prison and oversee the execution. To me the "prostitute" thing was more just fan service.*

*Unless you wanna say that she WAS a prostitute and Yulia used to be one too, was caught and sentenced to death because it was the law or something. Would make for some interesting irony.

Also, I would just like to say...Lena = sexiest thing I've seen all day. That uniform was hot. <3

The only unrealistic thing to me was the fact that Yulia was obviously pregnant, and I can't imagine many legal systems that would execute a woman while she was still pregnant, especially one so close to labor. either way I liked that video. =D

I bet that phone ringing at the end meant that she'd been pardoned...

I love this video and the song!! I can't wait for the full uncensored version. because it'll probably explain a lot more of what's going on. Anyway, if anyone is interested, Insider made a new post about the video at their blog and said that the album (UO, not WM which doesn't have a release date yet) might get pushed back from Dec 25 to early '08 :(

I love the new song. It still has the great sound that totally amazed me (from the Dangerous And Moving/Lyudi Invalidy album). I loved that album. <3 Can't wait for another release then O_O!!!

The Russian album 'Upravlenie Otbrosami' will be out on Dec. 25th and the English album 'Waste Management' is TBA.

yeah, i read a long review of the video on the tatysite.net forums -- quite interesting and quite deep (alcohol for cleansing, accepting fate etc.) I only really analysed things that deeply in highschool english, but it's an interesting read.

and yes, nice to see lena is the sexy one! so pretty!

I'm pretty sure thats them because Lena's voice I can tell is hers and then at the end of the Yulia parts it sounds like her. Then (and I don't know if this is in the version a couple posts up, but it is on the one on YouTube) they talk at the end and that voice is definitely Yulia.
