It's cool to see this many artists--it's not a LOT, but it's still a fair amount. Better than/more than nothing at any rate.

And to whoever said they're holding out for another Diru tour--same thing. ;_; Since I was so stupid I missed them the last time.

I really want to go see miyavi again, but I can't afford it...I'm hoping there will be a JRock Revolution 2 in LA again this year! Either that or Dir en grey will come back again, and I'll go see 'em for a third time. ^^ -AND I'm still holding out for Ayu in America!-

gothicayu 30th April 2008 12:04 AM

the ai tickets are 50 to a 100 dollars each thats insane .its way too expensive for only one artist.i cant imagine the price of the tickets if ayu come one day

ownsarai 30th April 2008 10:22 PM

^I'm not really concerned about the cost of tickets if Ayu comes to the USA...me and my boyfriend are willing to pay any price to see her here. ^^

Super Ichiban 1st May 2008 06:17 AM

Hopefully, we'll see more A-list performers from Japan coming over to the US. I know for a fact that they want to do it. They're just trying to figure out how to do it without having to play at anime conventions.

I covered the Long Beach show from the Taste of Chaos Tour. The article can be found at:

http://www.nt2099.com/J-ENT/INTERVIE...haos-jrock.pdf

It has our interview with members of The Underneath, MUCC, and D'espairsRay and lots of pics from the show.

paper_doll 8th May 2008 03:19 AM

^ Thank you so much :) Great interview.

Would Ayu tickets really be that expensive though? I mean, I can go see Linkin Park and two other bands for less than $50 :/

Bad Wolf 23rd May 2008 01:20 AM

Apparently X Japan is playing a show at Madison Square Garden in NYC 13 September. One of the dates on their world tour. Here's an article, which also discusses the show date in Taiwan.

I hope Dir en grey can perform some of their Visual kei songs too.

Bad Wolf 15th September 2008 08:01 PM

^ I've seen a setlist for some shows they did on the Japan dates and it doesn't look like their visual-days songs are featured, dear.

mimika: If you're still interested I can link you to some songs :) I'm pretty sure someone posted their discography on here, too!
