I wanna cosplay as ayu too but since i'm a guy it'll look weird plus Animania is like at town hall at the city so walking around will sure attract alot of attention :mini

Cosplay as one of Ayu's male bck-up dancers then? Sure, nobody will know you really are until you tell them, but then you get the thrill of showing other people how knowledgable compared to them ;)

There's always that one lonely/depressed looking guy dancing solo during one of the slow Ayu songs in the concerts. I forget his name, but maybe that'd be a good costume?

Heh thank you everyone who commented. It didn't take long I mainly posted after some cosplayers who had done smiliar cosplays of oursleves and did different versions. It doens't look EXACTLY lik the ourselves PV, but I don't think there are clear enough shots to actually get ALL the details right...the only thing I know I dind't get right was the boots...she wears like four inch platform heels and I didn't XD

I am a j-rock cosplayer btw....I have done many more but I thought Ayumi's was MUCH too cool to pass over. Ive done Mana, Kaya, Ayumi (That's the only ayumi ive done...really wanted to do ladies night...but i'm not NEAR thin and pretty enough for that!), Klaha, Exo chica (Aural vampire)

And that's just off the top of my head honestly ^^;;; I am a large cosplayer myself...but I tend to cosplay more from Japanese music rather than anime and such XD

Anyway, the I am.. cosplay that started the thread was really great. She, as others have said, must be very brave. I'd be afraid of showing up at the convention and them telling me I couldn't enter because it was too revealing or something.
