I'm pretty sure Rody had a source he got that information from though. He's one of the biggest Ayu fans I know, so possibly... yeah. D: He knows there are songs that sound different from the CMs -> original mixes, but for some reason Moments was special... D:

It could be one of those "You had to have been there when it happened" kind of things... like the delay of I am... or the renaming of Endless sorrow / M..

That reminds me of still alone...It sounds completely different in the CM (as far as I remember since it's been ages I last saw it). And I think "my name's WOMEN" was also better in the CM....

Endless sorrow was renamed from SEPIA due to some other release having the title [I think] and M was called Bliss or something and was changed later on for some reason. D:

OMG, I thought my name's WOMEN was horrid in the CM. Although I think walking proud was better in the CM. Not too much of a difference but the slight changes that were made just gave the song a different feel. I still love the tune but it doesn't give me the chills that the CM version did when I first heard it. It's just so calming.

Well, I decided to ask someone for a bit of information...just to see if she knew anything about it...and here's what she remembers:

And I guess...she says that she believes the rumor started because the VISEE CM came out so long before the actual single, and they sounded nothing alike. But there doesn't seem to be anything about Ayu posting that she was going to make Moments into a full song in the old TA messages. Interesting.

Wow, I didn't know that about Endless sorrow but now that I do I am so glad the title was changed - "Endless sorrow" just fits the song perfectly. But see, those things actually sound believable to me and sound a lot more creditable than this junk about Moments only for Visee.

Great! That reminds me of how About You was released fairly early and also sounded different in that Morinaga Bake CM (sounded pretty terrible to me actually). Everyone thought it was to be a new single but it didn't show up until the album release of MY STORY.

I like the new ones... especially M. I mean, Bliss... it has no absolute sense.

When I've talked to Rody in the past, it was all like, TeamAyu BBS posts saying "MAKE IT INTO A FULL SONG OMGGGG" or something. :\

Probably because the entire album is sort of like "her story." That's possibly why there's no title track either, because the album title is meant to encompass the album as a whole.. or w/e. D:

But I don't think that's WHY it was released as a single. I'm sure that she was planning on it but it just took a while to release. Coincidental that people were demanding that it be released in full and then after a while it was released as a single.

She's probably explained each and every one of her album titles in some magazine interview as well as some single ones... but very rarely do we get translations. :\
