No, it's not. I mean, sure it's kind of advertising it [KIND OF.] but it's by no means meant to be "~~**~*~EARLY PROMOTION~*~*~*~*" because there's nothing new to perform. That's the point that I do not agree with at all, since this is basically just a visual representation of the "hi here's a premium photobuuk!" thing on the huge posters in CD shops. Ayu's just busy doing w/e she is doing with the new song(s) right now.

^Advertisement and promotion isn't only performing songs. You said it yourself, "drawing attention to it." There may not be performing, but they're still advertising an aspect of it to draw people's attention to it and make them want to buy it.

I have to agree with you on this one truehappiness.
The pics doesn't look the same and obviously it's not for promotion purposes.

I think it'd be more correctly called publicity. Advertising really is more like "Go out and buy this" while publicity is showing it to people. But it will hopefully have the same effect anyway.

Doing unreleased covers was a REALLY good idea for the photobook. Thanks for the news truehappiness.

As stated before, it's simply free publicity. There's no real notion that avex told them: HERE DO THIS SO PEOPLE WANT TO BUY IT. It's just something interesting that M-Sta decided to focus on.. and that's about all that it is.

It's great the photobook's going to have all these new unreleased material but i'm not seeing these covers as better than the original. Like MW, the expression on her face is sort of like the vogue video for concert tour 2000 vol.2. That even had butterflies in it. I find it odd. I prefer the ones we have especially the DoY version with DVD. Thanks, this is so interesting.

The You CD only version i suppose. Yeah that was odder than this one. It'd be fun to go through the photobook and maybe there'll be another thread on how which unreleased cover should have been published for which single lol!

Well, not just one thread, but probably a bunch of different ones..

Perhaps someone should just make one HUGE multiple choice one with all 43 singles and if they prefer the original over the unreleased. That way, people won't make a ton of different ones..

You don't like all the MW covers? The head does look kinda big especially on the special slip case cover but the on the normal cover, the size is quite alright and there were less butterflies than i thought there would be. I like how they had a coloured picture of HEAVEN. It's an interesting contrast but i guess the creative team thought light shining on a black silhouette is more striking than on a coloured face.
