Omg I remember that! And the guy who was interviewing Ayu was imitating Gackt's monotone voice while talking to him, and Gackt got super polite and apologized, saying he couldn't understand what was being said. XD It was hilarious. And adorable.

Yea, the show was Waratte Ittomo hosted by Tamori (The usual MC in MS), He asked who's the person Ayu call and Ayu said "Suteki na Hito da yo"(if i'm not mistaken translated as 'A wonderful person') and said "Gacchin!"

The most unexpected part is when Gackt suddenly commented "Ayu-chan Kawaii nee," then Ayu "Gacchin mo suteki or sugoi desu" (or something like that). IMO it is a proof that both of them are having a more than ordinary realtionship, close friend maybe because it seems like both of them like to call each other ;p, as Ayu asked Gackt in the phone about him waking up and Gackt's traits of disliking lights.

Cute that how ayu let Gackt hold her dogs....

I'm not sure on whether they should be a couple or not.... If ayu likes, then it's fine... haha

Hmm... I never really notice what she said before Gackt... but suteki doesn't translate to wonderful, it basically mean that they're good looking and according to my dictionary its "cute, gorgeous, swell". Which is rather interesting if she said it was someone who was cute... :innocent

As for why are they such good friends I can't see why they wouldn't be friends.

Umm Gackt isn't married not that I know of. According to autobiography he said that he was married before to a Korean women, but I think with his fame she couldn't handle the stress and they got divorce. (er I got all of this off the top of my head I have read his Autobiography recently so if its a little off sorry. I don't feel like looking it up)

I don't think they are very good friends, maybe just cordial. 2001-2002 was a time where they were paired a few times on live shows and they do look good together but it's mostly planned. They didn't choose to air together. For the phone call, the artistes are already told who to call. It helps that they know each other perhaps.

I don't know about ayu but gackt is REALLY good friends with yoshiki from Xtasy Records. Look at their interaction on live shows. There's a marked difference between gackt's interaction with ayu. But what i really admire is that ayu is not intimidated at all with gackt's stoicity or silence. And he does show her a certain level of respect. During some shows, he can be really taciturn which i think is not very fair to the artiste starring with him.

I don't really believe he's gay either... it really could all be an act... that and whats to say he not bi? There are time where he has said/implied some things that may make people think he's gay. Honestly, I think he's bi, but I really don't see how that has anything to do with whether or not he and Ayu are friends, or not.

I would have to say I agree with SolarAngel as to where they may not be really good friend, but just friends. I mean everyone has a lot of friends they may not exactly be your closest friends but don't you refer to people you more or less for a while and you get along with as your friend to be polite.

If your a celebrity and you were ask if you know another celebrity or well if your friends(I'm not sure how to phrase this exactly), I don't think you would want to say that you met them and that you get along ok, its simpler to say that your friends IMO anyways.

I mean don't people in Hollywood do that too? When they're ask about their co-stars, they would say they get along and their friends, but I highly doubt they are really close friends if that makes any sense to anyone.
