I really don't think I like the new version of Beautiful. :( Dynamite was catchy and so was Genie 2.0. I didn't think that this same phase would carry to her new album, and I'm not sure how I feel about. I'm not too impressed with the whole futuristic feel at the moment. I'm giving it a few more listens before I say that I hate it.

She's definitely versatile. She doesn't bring the same thing twice, that's for sure. :D

I'm glad there's a lot to look forward to in American music next year. Christina with her new studio album, Britney with her new studio album, etc.

I LIKE THAT CM!! its feels like a prelude to her next album already

xtinavrilayu 15th November 2008 07:44 AM

she's the best! :luv2

Does any one know who shot the Keeps Getting Better photoshoot?

Catzi 16th November 2008 02:46 AM

^ Ellen von Unwerth, but only 90% sure about that.

~ayu-cake~ 16th November 2008 02:59 AM

Oh wow really?

Oh, I had someone else in mind.
Thankyou :)

Whoever it is, I didn't like their work. Legendtina should've worked with the people who did Circus or I Am... Sasha Fierce's photoshoots.

hikaricore 16th November 2008 03:41 AM

^I agree with him.
Although her new look is totally killer.

Those were both terrible shoots. In my opinion, Christina's shots were far better than either of those.

drewbilation 16th November 2008 03:57 AM

are you freaking kidding, ddd? the "I Am..." shoot is freaking DULL and "Circus" makes Brit look like a nutso, cracked-out Jessica Simpson, without the butt chin.

Kingdom 16th November 2008 03:58 AM

circus + kgb are both > i am... photoshoots

and thats saying a lot because from what i've seen of circus i dislike, and kgb is horrible.

Catzi 16th November 2008 05:04 PM

I'm now 100% sure it was Ellen von Unwerth, because this credits her.

von Unwerth also did Christina's BTB phootshoot, and Britney's Blackout. von Unwerth is a really popular photographer.

~ayu-cake~ 16th November 2008 05:49 PM

Yeah, she's great :)
I think her shots are brilliant.

The booklet pics really remind of David Lachapelle and also Jill Greenberg to an extent. Good stuff.

Does anyone have the Greatest Hits booklet yet? DDD: I wanna see how they look. :)

:laugh No, I definitely think at least the I Am... Sasha Fierce photo shoot was way better. Beyonce looks hot as hale, and totally fierce. Christina just looks like they raised the contrast about 500% to wash her completely out.

drewbilation 16th November 2008 09:47 PM

^ maybe they were just trying to hide some blemishes?!

I still think Xtina's is the best/most creative photo shoot of the three.

I was able to find the deluxe DVD scans for you. Credit to xtinaweb for the scans. Note: There are 20 pics under this spoiler, if you have a slow connection...good luck to you

Spoiler:

dddaiyamondo 16th November 2008 10:47 PM

^Seriously what's the point of those shots? The contrast is so high you can't even see her face. It reminds me of ugly girls on MySpace who do that so you can't see what their faces really look like. :laugh But I feel like the originals are probably wayyyy prettier.

MemorialAddress 16th November 2008 11:01 PM

I like the style of the pictures, but yeah, they couldve lowered the contrast a little :rolleyes
She's so naturally beautiful (to me anyway..) so I think there's no need to hide her lovely face :D
