Ummm wow, you are way out of control.
You act as if I posted this thread with an opening post declaring my love for Emilie.
All I did was create a thread for her, just in case anyone here liked her. That doesn't mean that I have to like her.
You should be thankful that I even made this thread, because I highly doubt anyone else would ever make one.
And "This should be a place for fans to appreciate her music, not for people to be immature and start arguments"? Give me a break!
There is no rule that says that we're only allowed to post nice, supportive things about an artist in their thread.
So if I don't like her, I'm certainly allowed to express that. And besides, it's not like I've said anything rude about her.

I've merely stated my opinions. :)

Ummm....did you actually read what I said? You have repeated your point that there is nothing saying you have to like her, and I AGREED with you. As I have already said, I understand completely that she won't be everybody's cup of tea. And no, I don't expect people to only post to sing her praises, you do not have to take everything that is said so personally.

I am not here to attack anyone for anything, I am merely trying to stop this thread, which should be about the music of an artist, from turning into a foolish argument about nothing much at all.

Lastly, I did not for one minute believe you created this thread out of love for Emilie. You made it quite clear that you were not a fan, and I thank you for being the one to start the thread. Now can we please all just stop arguing over pathetically irrelavent things and perhaps move back to discussion about Emilie? Seeing as, in my view at least, that is the purpose of this thread.

Wait.... you're trying to tell me you haven't been rude

"I think if Emilie sang normal music, her voice might actually sound decent!"

I'm sorry if you don't agree, but that is defined as rude to me.
The fact that you are attempting to define what is and what isn't normal is considered rude.
You've basically just stated that she is not normal and therefore that makes her bad.
Besides which, she does not make her music for you. She doesn't make her music for me either. She doesn't make her music for anyone other herself and that's how it should be. She's true to herself and that's one of the many many reason why I like her as much as I do.

Plus... you didn't have to make this thread, especially if you didn't truly know/like the artist. The simple fact is I was quite happy with having no thread for her on this forum. I couldn't care less whether anyone else would've made one or not, because I know that there aren't many fans on this board and from the looks of it there also aren't many people on this board who can appreciate the music she create's. I wasn't ever planning to make a thread for her, so why should you have bothered?

Plus.....
"...out of control"
I'm sorry..... but he's probably been the most 'in control' person on this entire thread.

I've listened to a couple of her songs, because her style and CD art is so unique and attention grabbing. The composition of the music is good, (I love the strings) her voice takes something to get used to, most of the time its not something I care to hear. I'm still on the fence with this emilie; I'm not sure if I like her or not.

The pictures from her lives look amazing.
