Why is everyone so disappointed with Dragonball being the movie she sings?

The movie is HIGHLY anticipated, after years and years of the Dragonball craze. And the audience of the movie is the most anime and thus Japanese-loving orientated of all movies. So this movie is absolutely perfect for spreading her music overseas. :)

This must be what Ayu was talking about when she said she was sending a song overseas to America. Can't wait for this. I work at a movie theater and I doubt we will get this but I'm gonna be talking about it non-stop. Lol.

No wonder her head is filled with English. I bet a lot of this song, or maybe all of it, is in English. There's no way they'd release this song in America if it were in Japanese - FOX would not do that.

But... wow. I'm truly shocked. I, for one, am not too excited for this film, but... if it brings Ayu to America... I'll probably end up seeing the film just to hear the song being played in the film. XD

edit: Nevermind, it seems like the song will be in Japanese... that's interesting, because the song will be used with the American release... hmm...

so....... new song? i wonder if it'll be a single/on an album.

This looks like it possibly reveals her "secret" of how she sent the song to America.. perhaps this is why? And perhaps Rule is a CREA-aided composition?

Oh, and a strange coincidence; DBE is coming out in America on Ayu's 11th anniversary. April 8th! LOL.

I think I'd be happier if it wasn't being used for the movie. I have nothing against Dragonball (I actually kind of like the series) but I wish Ayu would lend her music to something a little less ... lame?

It's interesting to note that the director likes Coldplay.. I wonder if Ayu's song will end up like that? Also; the trailer is reported to be out in on 12/18.. hopefully with the theme song!

^Except that the movie is hyped, so the song will be heard by masses. The tie-in itself doesn't matter as long as the song is heard and enjoyed. At least she's actually doing something that people actually hear this time around

Me too. I am really hoping we'll get an energetic song with an exciting beat.
