As liberal as I hope I am, I sympathize with the Japanese reaction to this as I really have something about public indecency and exposure. Really, it's not about the naked person losing any sort of respectability, or about the general respectability of society diminishing. It's about me having to bear witness to something I would rather not see. I'd prefer having the choice whom to see naked or explicitly, thank you very much. ^Well, people could just always not look at him. :) I agree though, I would much rather see Kimutaku or at least Shingo naked.

It would be hard when you're taking a nice stroll in the park and suddenly out pops an unattractive naked man brandishing all that is holy before him. No time to look away, the image is forever burned into my brain. Haha!

LOL There isn't really much to forgive him for - he needs to find a good psychiatrist ^^ And I am actually glad he is getting the same treatment poor ERIKA had (even though, imo, this is far worse than what she did). People who drink and don't know when to stop shouldn't be allowed to work as public figures/entertainers as that will totally send the wrong massage. So I think he is pretty much getting what he asked for.

On a side note, I wouldn't mind seeing Yamapi or Shige running naked in the park near my back yard ^_^
