I satisfied with DVDs for now.Maybe it will take some time for me to start demanding for blu-ray

bluray sucks. It's like releasing the ps3. just more annoyment for people that only own a ps2 cause ps2 isn't completely compatible with ps3 and having to swtich over is expensive. Maybe its cause no one is doing it.

Ayumi released tons of remixes on her singles cause it was the thing, then she started releasing them in cd/dvd cause again, it started becoming popular. just wait till the pain in the ass blueray kicks in and we all have to go waste money switching over. cause dvd just isn't good enought apparently. >>

^ appereantly you never watched a bluray before, its different than remixes, remixes were a trend, bluray not, bluray WILL happen(it will take some years, but some day it will completely take over the DVD market, in like 5-10 there wont be new dvd releases anymore) and bluray is tons of times better than DVD, its just like the DVD took over the VHS market, do you say that only was a trend? if so: stick to your vhs!

I don't really get, I think it's okay.. ayu was the first Japanese person to release a USB album, Namie the first with Blu-Ray.. fair enough :P

I think ayu releasing a Blu-Ray DVD in the NEXT LEVEL-era would be too much "I'm not fading out because I'm desperate, buy me!" alike :laugh

^ well, seeing how DVDs sell more than Bluray at the moment, it would be more like "hey, look, I'm innovative! first USB and now Bluray! I truly support new formats! buy me!" xD

And the USBs were smashful success, they even needed to re-stock them and make more than they intended.

Too bad it was limited though.

I only have BluRay in my computer because it's a VAIO, but I'm happy with DVD's.... are cheaper in all ways... movies are cheaper and also DVD players are cheaper, and doesn't make you buy an special TV for it...

It would be good maybe some years from now but its a bit pricey to do on bluray but it would be a big flop I think because only a hand full of people have access to a bluray player and I don't think it would make to much of a profit and in the end that's what it comes down too :P

btw, it's not avex fault, it's more TeamAyu fault as for me, the same as fake 5.1ch sound at Ayu's dvds - TeamAyu shoot her concerts in HD but doesn't mind releasing blu-ray and edit 5.1 ch making this fakeish and not real as it was recorded

Is blu-ray can be played through the usual DVD player?

nope..only BLU RAY PLAYER can play BLU RAY DISC
and its quite expensive in my country

my boyfriend has one so I can play blu-rays

I have ordered Namies tour in blu-ray and would love to order ayus next tour in blu-ray, too

I will buy blu-rays only if AVEX gives with it a blu-ray player for free :P

so....nothing yet about blu-ray for ayu is a shame...i have a lot of blu-ray discs including MISIA blu-ray concerts and i have to say that DVDs looks so lame now
