Well, that's expected. But I can't really wait for that new single!!!
|
It has been like, say, month and a half, since the last time I posted (above)? Well, now mark your calendars - they're going to release their debut single, now called "Everybody Go" on August 10th - and this will NOT be an ordinary release: the single will be released simultaneously in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia!

http://avexnet.or.jp/kismyft2/ Apparently they'll be releasing on the same day as AKB48's DiVA and Koda Kumi's 50th single... |
Imma bring this thread back! This is going to be long and for the most part, not color coded.
* Kisumai's scheduled to be on "Music Station" tomorrow night (July 22) and then episode 2 of "Ikemen desu ne" with Fujigaya & Tama-chan will be on at 10pm. On Monday July 25, their segment for Hey! Hey! Hey! will air. If Goods for "Ikemen desu ne" have gone on sale online and at the Akasaka sacas summer shop. Seems like there are/will be goods that will be limited to the physical shop as the online shop is only selling certain goods as sets. * Covers for the 3 editions of "Everybody Go" singles have been posted at Johnny's net as well as their official HP. Covers for the 7 individual, Kis-My-Ft2 Shop-only versions of the single haven't been revealed yet. A lot of fans I know have ordered the full set of member versions but I am focused and ordered 2 Kitayama, 2 Fujigaya, and 1 Tama-chan in addition to the 3-pack of the first-press singles. * CD-info: Quote:
First Press Limited A is a CD+DVD with the PV and making of. First Press Limited B is a CD+DVD with 2 live performances from their Vol.3 tour First Press Regular is a CD that includes an extra track. --- Ordering First Press versions from the mu-mo shop or buying them at certain CD shops will get you a bonus B2-size poster (design TBD). It is the same poster for whatever version you get. Kis-My-Ft2 Shop Member Versions: These are limited to the online mu-mo shop and come with picture labels, booklets, and printed message cards in manila envelopes for each respective version. Ordering from the shop includes a respective rollerskate keyholder per version. [quite curious to find out about the design!] These each come with only 2 tracks, "Everybody Go" and "S.O.Kiss" (which IMO is the best B-side for this single and is better than the title track) * Concert Limited Special Preorder If you preorder CD+DVD A, CD+DVD B, or the Regular single at the concert locations, you receive a different B2-size poster for each CD ordered. In other words, 3 different designs. These are not the same as the poster that you get from mu-mo and CD shops. (this is probably why no poster is for sale as part of tour goods and why many fans will have doubles of these CDs) * Concert Goods for Debut Tour 2011 Everybody Go Quote:
(note: recent Kis-My-Ft2 shop photos that were in the Johnny's Jr. section have been removed. Puchi albums, long strap, and nail file should still be available for purchase.) I think that's it for information! I think Fujigaya's new haircut is adorable and I looooove Tama-chan's hair omg. "Ikemen desu ne" is cute but I actually prefer the original Korean version (...because I love Jeremy...). I've already ordered Shu and Ren goods sets from the online shop and am probably going to go to Akasaka sacas in August to get individual A.N.JELL goods. Gonna be going to all Yokohama, Osaka, and Nagoya cons so I. Am. Pumped. Costumes this time seem to be VERY hit or miss per my friend who already went to Hokkaido cons. No solos but they get split into groups of 3 and 4. It's sad because I was really ready to see some more "Think u x" live this tour. *sadface* |
honestly I was a bit skeptical to give Kisumai a listen , especially since they're quite similiar to KAT-TUN & doesn't help Kisunmai open for KAT-TUN quite a lot too :O
But I must say after listening to the whole Everybody Go , I'm quite relieved that Kisumai doesn't sound like poor KAT-TUN clones Everybody Go is not bad for a debut single but the B-sides S.O.KISS & KISS FOR U are good I just hope their next single release will be a studio version of FIRE BEAT ;__; |
Everybody Go PV
Wow for a debut single , that's 1 very entertaining PV & I like it that avex bothered to spend a bit more $ than usual on Kisumai , especially since the PVs that Tackey & Tsubasa and V6 release are generally quite low budget :x The scenes of Kisumai rollerskating are really cool & I though that's nice to pay homage to Hikaru GENJI The song has grown on me quite a lot & I must say , Kitayama is looking fineeeee in the PV *O* :luv2 |
Everybody Go performance at MUSIC STATION
http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMjk0MTAxNzQ0.html the rollerskating scenes are very cool indeed :heart . They sounded a bit off pitch but other than that , all's good |
I kind of agree a bit on the next KAT-TUN for them. At least it's better late than never...
|
so...i was watching "Ikemen desu ne" and i totally didn't recognize Tamamori at first. LOL. but i'm enjoying the drama so far. i haven't seen the Korean version, so i can't compare & i'm giving it an open mind!
i know they've been around a while, but i still gotta learn all their names. lol. i only know Kitayama, Tamamori, Senga, & Fujigaya. i enjoyed the "Everybody Go" single too! i can't believe it's been like 4 years since H!S!J debuted. wishing Kisumai the best! :) |
I have to say I really like Everybody Go, saw the performance on Music Station.
Have to check out the whole single. |

Kis-My-Ft2 attracts 55,000 fans to their Tokyo Dome concert!
On August 28th, Johnny’s Entertainment group Kis-My-Ft2 performed at the Tokyo Dome with great performances. This live concert attracted 55,000 people to famed venue and even was even provided with a large banner for this event, which is rarely done at this venue. Kis-My-Ft2, who debuted with “Everybody Go” on the 10th, followed their seniors Tackey & Tsubasa’s and Hey! Say! JUMP!’s footsteps and became the fastest group to perform at Tokyo Dome with only 18 days after their debut. Member Kitayama Hiromitsu (25) said, “This is not the strength of just us. I would like to thank wholeheartedly to our fans and staffs.” Fukigaya Taisuke (24) stated, “It is because of our fans that we are here. It is because of us that everyone is here. I want to be part of that kind of group,” and talked about his aspirations as a group unit. At this venue, they performed a total of 34 songs including a triple encore along with nine outfits to go with it. They also gave their roller skating medley and even performed Hikaru GENJI’s “Paradise Ginga” and “Taiyou ga Ippai”, the songs from their great senior group. It was a concert that was full of past and present. http://www.tokyohive.com/2011/08/kis...-dome-concert/ |
Kis-My-Ft2 announces Asia tour, massive Japan tour
Boy band Kis-My-Ft2 performed a concert at Tokyo Dome on Sunday night, singing more than 30 songs in front of a crowd of 55,000 fans, including their major label debut single “Everybody Go” that topped the charts earlier this month. They also announced that in 2012, they plan to embark on an Asia tour and a large-scale Japan tour. At the moment, Kis-My-Ft2 plan to go to Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Singapore during the first half of 2012. This will make them the first Johnny’s group to do a concert tour overseas in the year after their major label debut. Previously, Shonentai set the company record by holding an Asia tour in February 1988, just a little more than two years after their debut in December 1985. After the Asia tour, they are considering a massive nationwide tour that will take them to all 47 prefectures for a total of 94 performances. If successful, that would be one of the biggest concert tours ever completed by a Johnny’s artist. More details should be finalized in the coming months. http://www.tokyograph.com/news/kis-m...ve-japan-tour/ !!!!!!!!!! they might be stepping foot here in my country next year *MAJOR SPAMS* :thud I'm not the biggest Kisumai fan but this's a JOHNNY's we're talking about 8D |
it's incredible how they have had a concert at Tokyo Dome already!
|
The announcement at Dome about their national and Asia tours was crazy. I wish that the jimusho would stop doing the manila envelope thing, though. Everytime, it's like, "OMG, what is it?!" Was actually hoping for an album announcement first. :/
|
much as it's great for Kisumai , I feel that things are moving a bit too fast :x
cos shouldn't they release more singles if not a full length debut album before going on a big domestic / Asian tour ? :O Long time fans of theirs will definitely know their discography by hard but for someone like me who supposedly assumed that Everybody Go is the only proper release of theirs , that's a different thing altogether :tired |
