I have to be honest, Im disappointed in new single. Every song is average at its best... which scares me 'cause I can't remember when was last time Miliyah's song got me. :/

I remember I fell in love with her when she was that cool rnb chick with 夜空 and Rose album. I don't know... Im tired of waiting she delivers something amazing again.

Tokyo star was her last album when she had that 'cool image' and 'cool sound' in some tracks, but RING and HEAVEN are so 'off'. Songs are good but not as good as they were.

Im sad and tired of waiting.

^ I guess she really changed her sound. I got into her music when WHY came out, so I do love her current style. But I can understand that fans of her older music might be turned off.

I also became a fan of Miliyah during ROSE-era, but I understand artists change.

well i became fan of her during best destiny ~ ring era , I guess she's so much better now and none of her singles on these eras disappoint me except her latest single :/ which i think it's good but nothing wow-ed me .

yeah, artist change, but her epicness is not on the same level, and I can't stop checking what's new with her at the same time lol

i became more of a fan when WHY came out, too. before that, i was fan since SAYONARA BABY and followed her through the Ring era, but it wasn't until WHY that i really loved her music. :) i really do love her current music, but her latest single just wasn't as strong as last year's singles, IMO.

i'm sure miliyah will come back with a really strong single, though. i have faith!

I love how she genre-bends on HEAVEN. And her lyrics are amazing. Ring and TOKYO STAR are also some of my favorite albums. But I can't stand Rose or Diamond Princess...They're boring.

You know, I always thought she looked like a dying puppy on her album and magazine covers so I never gave her music a chance, but I saw the full MSta episode and she was so lovely and the things she said were very sweet, and the song was OK but I have a feeling I'd like more and I love how she changed the lyrics too for the event. I think I might really like her if the rest of her music is as good or hopefully even better~

Just listen to the entire Ring and HEAVEN albums. HEAVEN is so far, her magnum opus. She will never be able to out-do it, to me personally. It's perfection.

Well, if you liked Love Is.. Maybe try out I will and everything she released since this single.
I don't know what kind of music you're into, so it'll really depend if you're more pop, ballad, rnb, rock oriented. She has a large panel, that's also one of the reasons why I love her so music, this girl is on constant evolution, everything she releases is a living proof or her growth as an artist and as a human being.

I totally agree with that!! I have to admit, I didn't check on her and her releases lately, but RING is still one of my favorite Japanese albums! She did an amazing job with it.

it feels like yesterday that HEAVEN was released! as much as i want a new album, there's only 2 singles from this year (3 if you count that new collab with shota) & i think with like...2 more singles, at least, a new album would be better. but then when you think about it, less singles means more album tracks, so...? :shrug regardless, i totally wouldn't mind, lol. but a BEST album would be nice, too! i guess we'll just need to wait for more information. but i kinda wish they would release some info on that new single & the shota shimizu collab. :P

I hope the BEST album includes all her singles from the beginning of her career til now. And why I hope this is because I always thought that BEST DESTINY's tracklisting was missing some a-sides that should have been on it, so I hope the upcoming BEST album is a complete singles collection.

Oh I downloaded all the chaku-uta's of BABY!BABY!BABY! and I think many of you won't be expecting how it sounds, haha. I can't say if I like it or not, but it's different... I don't really like the song by The Blue Hearts, so I wasn't expecting too much. But I'm still excited for the full version. Aside from the single which I pretend doesn't exist *cough My Girl *cough*, Miliyah has never disappointed me.
