Normally the soundtrack comes out BEFORE the film releases, but I didn't find the song anywhere yet. T___T

I want to ask one thing! Anna is going to release that song (CHECKMATE) in 3D sound. Anyone knows how can we play that type of sound? We need some type of special mechanism to play it or we can play it with normal player?

According to the latest entry in the Hot News section of Anna's official website (11/18 entry), she will be going to be Battle Royale 3D Commemoration Stage Greeting on the 23rd of this month in Shibuya to perform! I'm so excited, I wish I could go! I hope someone who attends puts this up on youtube!

I want to go too! I can ask to some japanese friends if they're going to go, but sure the're not going to record it xD. But don't worry maybe it will be broadcasted in TV because is a famous film.

Director Kinji Fukasaku’s cult 2000 film “Battle Royale” has been rereleased in 3D, with Anna Tsuchiya, 26, singing the theme song. Tsuchiya’s song is titled “Checkmate mash up Anty the kunoichi Volta Masters,” and was released on Nov 17.

Joined by one of the movie’s stars, Taro Yamamoto, Tsuchiya appeared at a screening this week, wearing a black miniskirt resembling one of the
junior high school students from the movie who get dragged into a survival game. “I think I’ve created a song that reflects the raw tension of the movie,” she said.

When asked by a journalist what she would do in the event of a real face-off, she answered, “No one would shoot a girl as cute as me.” Of her own high school days, she said, “I just hated it and would constantly think of ways to get out of going. Unfortunately, my mom was the chairwoman of the PTA, so I used to get busted immediately.”

Aww man I remember my first viewing of Battle Royal <3 Such an intense and sad movie that was LOL. Weird that they're re-releasing it in 3D...But at least Anna sang the theme song woot.

I bought Rule CD+DVD the first day of the sale. I was really upset that I had all these setbacks preventing me from getting Rule when it was first released but I'm happy that I was able to save a couple of dollars by waiting.

Here is video from the Battle Royale event. Unfortunately, it's not translated but I just love watching how silly and animated she is, even when she's taking the pictures holding the flowers. She must be saying some funny stuff though because the guys keep laughing, lol. You can also hear some of Checkmate playing in the background, even some parts that's not in the trailer. She comes in at 1:48.

I watched some time ago. She's always making people laughing lol she's an idiot as always.

I'm loving the songs on the setlist and we're definetely past due for another concert DVD! At this point, this DVD may be the only way we hear CHECKMATE in full until it's released on a soundtrack or on a future album release like she did with GUILTY. I can't wait to see this, I'm sooo excited!

Singer, actress, and model Anna has updated her blog with three shots of herself with her two sons.

The photos were taken during their recent trip to Hamilton Island, Australia.

She wrote, “That’s the cart we used to get around the island. Every day we drove around with the cart. Even though it’s the rainy season, it totally brightened up for us. Why not wear my new favorite Ralph Lauren dress to drive around!”

Tsuchiya gave birth to her first son back in 2004, and her second son was born in March of 2010.

^It's probably an itunes only song. Also according to itunes. it's only been available since february 16th, 2011. So it's still fairly knew even if we have heard it before.

I put the song on js for anyone that wants to do it the hard way and download it through there. I only uploaded the mp3 though.
