in fact , GLAY had something like that in their Precious single where a track in the single called 10th ALBUM GLAY Yokokuhen (10th ALBUM 『GLAY』予告編) is a teaser digest snippet for all 10 tracks in their 10th self titled album before it was eventually released

I don't think I will be listening to Destination Digest since it's a bit pointless & there're only 6 new tracks to watch out for :p

also, if you wanna listen to some album songs, you can always buy the album. it's released on the same day as the single after all, lol. :P

ahaha yeah that's right , as such , I think having a Destination Digest track on the single tracklist , it's a bit pointless to me since preview snippets doesn't do justice to a full song eventually

Girl Next Door gears up for 2011 + preview of their new single

J-pop trio Girl Next Door is gearing up for 2011 by releasing a new single and album next month in a simultaneous release.

On March 16th, the group will release their eleventh single, “Twitter ~silent scream~“. Girl Next Door descibes the single as, “A single that fans have been demanding. Anyone who hears the song will be able to feel the story through the magnificent sound and lyrics that will draw people in.”

This type of story will be a first for the group, especially for the PV. They are working with famous director Koizumi Norihiro (ROBOT), who directed the movies “FLOWERS” and “Taiyo no Uta”. The complete PV is a whole ten minutes, another first for the group.

“Twitter ~silent scream~” will be the opening theme to NTV’s “Happy Music” program for the month of February. It will then be the ending theme song to “Yoasobi Mishimai” for February through March.

There are two versions of the single: a limited edition with DVD and a normal edition.

Limited edition A DVDs will come with the music video and a slipcase, while the normal edition will be a CD only. Both CDs will have five tracks, three of which will only be available on the single.

They do not plan on releasing it in the upcoming album.

The second announcement is their third album, which will come with a set of ‘goods’ for their fanclub members.

Their second album was #1 on Oricon Charts, and this third album is expected to do the same. Like their single, the album, “Destination“, will be released on March 16th, and it will have four different versions. It also has six new songs, giving this album a total of 13 songs.

Type A will include a DVD that has seven music videos (subject to change) and a 30 minute documentary.

Type B DVDs will have 60 minutes of live footage from their “FIRST TOUR 2010 FINAL” encore.

Type C will have a bonus CD that contains eight remixes, including “Infinity”, “FRIENDSHIP”, and “Seeds of dream”.

Type D is a CD only edition, but the first press of the CD album will have a special price of ¥2,100 (tax in) ($25 USD) and an alternative jacket.

Destination - I'm happy that the CD + DVD A that I'm getting , the cover's pretty but those CD only regular & limited are probably the best , with just Chisa alone

I'm sore that Shiawase no Hakari the song is axed out from the tracklist & let alone Hoshizora Keikaku but at least the PVs are left intact ;__;

Cause in the beginning of RTBAL you hear such little intro before she begins singing "Ready to be a lady ageru..". So maybe that part is going to be part of impish music! xD;

So I listened to NEXT FUTURE because I thought "might as well give 'em another try"

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than "GIRL NEXT DOOR"! GND sounded one long song and the album was just so boring! But NEXT FUTURE was pretty nice! CHISA's voice is a little annoying though...Anyway, I wonder how Destination will fare.

yeah I prefer NEXT FUTURE as well & also the album tracks are a lot more prominent/stronger such as Winter Crystal , Tri△ngle & Muboubi na Jun'ai <3

Also , I like the booklet pics / CD sleeves for NEXT FUTURE a lot more than their debut which was a bit weird if not scary for me to handle (like what's up with Chisa being covered in some dingy plastic wrap in the 1st album @_@)

I sure hope the CD sleeves for Destination will be good even though somewhere it will be a bit difficult to top things up from where NEXT FUTURE left

Artemis is the best piece of work I've ever heard in an album! It's too bad it was an instrumental (and on a GND album...) but it's amazing. I really like Tri△ngle and Infinity ~Ballad Version~ too. I think I'm gonna try and listen to GIRL NEXT DOOR (the album) again...to see if it might have grown on me since all this time.

I've been listening to them from their single debut til now , so it has been quite a long time

what's the issue that really put you off big time from liking their 1st album ? :O I don't think it's bad as what you put out to be haha , is it because of the Winter inspired theme/songs going on ? :O

but I do agree that the growth they displayed from GIRL NEXT DOOR to NEXT FUTURE is quite significant . At least the album tracks in NEXT FUTURE are somewhat more distinct & stronger

I really disliked CHISA's voice. She sounded bland and used the same vocal technique in EVERY single song. If I remember correctly, it felt like each song just went right into the next and I just couldn't like that album at all. The only two songs I enjoyed were the instrumentals.

Wow very very pretty. You must give it to GND's team that they always get creative with their artwork. It's a shame avex didn't ship them somewhere pretty but at least the covers are nice enough :D I am looking forward to this release!

I think that promo would have been perfect if her two bandmates weren't there...don't get me wrong, they are the bulk of what GND is about, but they're really distracting because CHISA looks BEAUTIFUL and the background actually looks really nice. But those two band members man...

Mizushima Hiro to make an appearance in PV for GIRL NEXT DOOR’s upcoming single

Actor, Mizushima Hiro who previously debuted as a novelist (under his real name, Saito Tomohiro) will make a special appearance in the PV for GIRL NEXT DOOR’s 11th single “Twitter~silent scream~” which will be released on March 16th. It has been about a year and a half for Mizushima to appear as an actor. Moreover, it was revealed that Mizushima also wrote the storyline for the PV.

The PV was made as a short-movie (15 minutes long) starring the vocalist,Chisa as a ballerina, while Mizushima plays a mysterious guy who kidnaps Chisa.

Mizushima was first offered to write the storyline for the PV, and he didn’t expect to make an appearance in the PV at first. However, he ended up appearing in it due to the strong request by the director of the PV. This will be the very first PV where Mizushima will make an appearance. He dyed his hair to blonde for the role, and commented, “I’m looking forward to see everybody’s reaction toward this PV.”

On March 10th (2:40 am), the documentary program of GIRL NEXT DOOR will air on TV Asashi (limited to Kanto Area), and it will reveal behind the scenes footage of the shoot for the PV.

And the new name for the single is just Silent Scream.

Apparently Twitter (the website) doesn't want the single to be confused with anything, and they trademarked the word. Which I find stupid, because the word wasn't created by the website :-\

So the new date for the single is 3/30
As for the album it's been re-scheduled for 4/27

We have to wait more than a month before it comes out :(
I guess this is why commercials and stuff haven't started?

But it kind of sucks for Avex... I'm sure the CDs, at least the single, have already been printed. Now they have to fix them all with the new title... and the PV/movie premier, I wonder what'll happen with that...
