She looks gorgeous in the PV, but it's kind of boring to watch. Still, the song is very good. It didn't really grip me much but then the chorus came along and I had one of those "Whoa, this is really good!" moments. I think this is gonna be an amazing single, especially with the best set of b-side titles EVER.

I'm absolutely in love with this single! This whole single is pure perfection just as expected! "Touch me on the Beach" is the perfect catchy summer jam and "*******S" is so flawless and sexy that I don't know what to do with myself. It's my favorite song on this single. IMO, this is one of the better single releases that has come out this year as each song is high quality and certainly a-side worthy. If these songs don't end up on the album, I will definetely be purchasing this single. I can't wait until the romanizations and translations are out and I hope that we get an album from her this year (hopefully her next release will be an album)!

I think Best Partner is the only really amazing song on the single. I listened to the rest and still do but they just lack something. Never listened to them on repeat. Kind of bore me, I don't know.

*******S is hands down the best song on the single. Best Partner was alright, but plain sounding. TMOTB was all sorts of awful lol.

she probably won't, at this point my theory is Sony screwed her over or did something bad after GOLD came out, she had so much momentum then it all evaporated over night......too fishy

On her blog she uploaded some pictures from a recent music festival that she went to and she was wearing a shirt that said NANTUCKET on it, and I was totally shocked. :rofl It's a tiiiiiny little island that I have really strong ties to (family, etc) so I was surprised to see a popstar in Tokyo wearing a shirt that advertised it. :P

darn, guess that +DVD info was wrong, it's two editions both 1,020 yen just one is limited. definitely reinforces the anime theory, with that limited one being the anime edition then. boo, was really looking forward to the DVD.

1. Chorus immediately sounds nostalgic. I guess because it sounds just like "Best Partner". 2. When she comes in on the bridge around the 3:50 mark, the mixing is awful. Her voice sounds like it is on top of the song. I thought the song was over and a radio disc jockey had started talking over the song like they do. 3. She sounds like Suzuki Ami at some parts. 4. Not a bad song but I won't be listening to it again. I heard this last Single. |
