I don't know because usually when she releases multiples at one time, they're all themed. If you look at all of the 4 covers of ayu-mi-x 2 or all of the 3 covers of the RMX WORKS project, they're all themed. Same with the pairs of ayu-mi-x, ayu-mi-x 3, ayu-mi-x 4 and ayu-mi-x 6.

All of my Ayu CDs are Japan press but it's just... so expensive. Jpop is expensive. I often buy digitally though.

If CD prices were half what they are there would still be multi million selling albums that didn't have 15-year-old prostitutes on the covers. :shrug

IMO, OT but the industry needs to realize this and should lower prices even a little bit. Not that that would ever happen, anyway.

When I've asked, several Japanese have told me that "entertainment is a luxury". It's crazy how much cheaper things are here in America.

It's also movies and movie theater tickets as well. There have been Japanese dramas that I've wanted to get and a twelve episode series I saw last was around $200USD.

Last Friends DVD Box with 11 episodes. "US$280.49". I don't care how much I love that drama. That's not worth the price. Especially for not even 12 episodes where the last episode is just a recap of the first 10 episodes.

Japan has a high standard of living, that's why things are more pricey than in our countries. In France, a CD album costs about €15/20 (~$23). But more the CD is old, less we pay for it.

But we just got more news on the DVD's maby we will get the covers sometime today or tomorrow!

Not only are the prices in Japan going up but the exchange rate between the dollar and the yen is HORRIBLE! The boxset costs way more than it should just because of that alone. I really want to support Ayu by buying the Japanese press but even though my parents are giving me the money... I'd almost rather buy the OS press and spend the rest on bills! ;___;

I used to buy the Japanese press until I realized how much money I was wasting on the exact same product at half the price. I'd love to contribute to Oricon but:
1. I have a mortage
2. I support alot of other artists and not everyone has OS releases. Its just silly of me not to take advantage of it, and it's not like I'm not supporting Ayu at all by buying OS releases.

It's not like everything in Japan is expensive. Manga and merchandise of anime series etc often aren't that expensive. I heard that CDs and DVDs in Japan are pricey on a regular basis.
