Thank you so much for posting the covers for Wild Life. She looks beautiful as always. I like her facial expression in the CD+DVD better but the concept is clearer in the CD only version. Both covers are nice. I don't know which one I like better.

To be honest, I'm both happy and sad that this single is not a double a-side. I'm happy because I typically only buy singles if they have b-sides which don't make the album. Because Wired Life is now the only a-side, I have an excuse to buy it. I'm sad because I too am unsure if "UPGRADE U! will get a PV since it's no longer an a-side. I was really looking forward to it but I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.

Meisa's first national tour will be called "Meisa Kuroki and SEIKO LUKIA presents MAGAZINE, the SHOW". It's confirmed to be around October and Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka are confirmed to host the show.

She's probably going to release two CD+DVD editions again for her next album: one with the PVs, the other with the live.

An external first press bonus has been added to the single. Although CDJ doesn't state what it is, HMV says it's a poster.

Although they haven't made any specifications about the poster, if they are following the pattern of previous releases, I'm assuming it's going to be B2-sized with the cover of the CD+DVD cover. Even though I like the CD+DVD cover, I wish they'd use the promotional picture for this single instead!

I asked CDJapan about the poster as a first press bonus and here is their answer..

At this time, I am not taking what this person says with a grain of salt. The poster is not an exclusive bonus for Sony Music as many of the online Japanese CD retailer websites such as Tower Records, HMV, and others list the poster as a first press bonus. In this regard, this person is obviously misinformed so I wouldn't credit this particular employee as a credible source of information. CDJapan only has the first press details listed as an external bonus so they currently do not have full details of what exactly the first press item is (which means they can't definitively tell us exactly if it's a poster or not at this time or it would be stated on the site). In my experience, this is not the first time CDJapan has been incorrect about their first press items so until they give specific details on their site about what it is, I'm going to assume it's the first press bonus poster like they've been offering for all of her other singles and album.

but why isn't it listed for the limited edition as well? I don't want to order the CD only just for the sake of having an extra poster lol.
I know that Neowing do send the extra poster though, it was alsomentionned in Meisa's staff blog, so I guess it could be possible for CDJapan to have it as well since it's pretty much the same.

Maybe CDJapan haven't update this information at their end ? I've seen it happening to other artistes I support where they took a while for external bonus items to be reflected on their website , with HMV Japan being real slow to me at times :x

It's only until I email and yell at HMV Japan that they get things settled & done XD

I am unsure of why the other two editions of this single have a first press bonus and the limited edition doesn't. CDJapan may be behind in updating their information as all of other websites list a first press bonus for all editions and have already stated what it is. I experienced a similiar situation with another limited edition album I purchased from CDJ where it didn't list a first press bonus at all, even after the album was out. A few weeks after I received the album, I got a separate package from them containing a letter explaining to me that they received the first press bonus late and had to ship it to me separately. Coincidently, it was from another Sony artist. To this day, CDJ still never made any indication on the page for the item that it even had a first press (not even the "first press sold out" message). This is just another reason why I never put 100% trust in the information they provide. While they're usually correct, I've had enough experiences from them to know that their website doesn't always provide the latest or even correct information all the time.

i assume that the Sony artist you meant is Love.if yes,actually the extra bonus announced 7 days before the album release and CDJ didn't update the page BUT neowing did update the japanese site.and,Sony sent them the cds and bonus separately and the staff who is in charge in packaging didn't even aware about this until i received my parcel and asked them about it.this is why they send it separately.so,i think its the best to ask it in CDJ twitter :P

The situations may not be exactly the same but the points that I made still apply. CDJ's website doesn't always provide the most up to date information and in some instances, the employee's don't have 100% knowledge of what's going on either (just like for Love's album, you said that CDJ didn't update the page and the staff were a bit unaware of what was going on until you addressed them with information about the first press bonus). Either way, the situation with Meisa and Love aren't the only times where I've seen a lack of correct information on their end. It's understandable that mistakes happen, they're human and not robots. But I just wanted to bring awareness to the fact that situations like this do occur and that the best thing we can do is wait and see if they will release more information as the release date approaches.
