I can't understand it anyway so I think it sounds awesome. (: I love Scheiße. It's my favorite song off the album. Especially the "German" part. xD

AyuHamasaki01 18th May 2011 06:24 PM

omg the album leaked!
I must find it.... o_______O

Daggi_X 18th May 2011 06:26 PM

Doesn't she also sing "Ich lieben..."? (which would be grammatically incorrect...)
The only lyrics that were clearly German were "Fräulein" and "Verdammte Scheiße" ^^'

NintendoHTF1242 18th May 2011 06:26 PM

Okay I can't wait either. I don't know where to find the leak, where'd you guys go for it?

Mirai Noah 18th May 2011 06:29 PM

I don't want to download the album, but it seems someone's already uploaded it to YouTube. Listening to Americano right now.

This. :yes
I tried google, but I couldn't find a proper download link.

zaturna 18th May 2011 07:32 PM

My favorite tracks aside from the singles are: Hair, Americano, SchiBe.
Ok songs are: Government Hooker, Bloody Mary, Highway Unicorn

Was disappointed with Marry the Night though. I was expecting much more based from the preview in Gagavision. :(

LOVE "Scheiße"...
but basically you're saying her German is completely wrong? :laugh

Daggi_X 18th May 2011 08:53 PM

There are only few words that actually ARE German at all. The rest seems to be gibberish :laugh
I'd really like to see the lyrics for this song:D

noisy_harmony 18th May 2011 08:54 PM

I can't believe people can't find download links. FilesTube is your friend
And people are posting links at ohnotheydidn't regularly as well.

Obviously I have always an other opinion than the majority, I find the album being weak. Judas is still the best song she's released lately. The only non single songs I liked are Americano and Government Hooker.

zellyx 18th May 2011 09:07 PM

:laugh
That's some legitimate gibberish!

Actually, you're not alone here! Just finished listening to it all.

(including the singles...)
LOVE: Schleibe, Americano, Judas.

LIKE: Bloody Mary, Heavy Mental Lover.

I feel that this is a pretty weak album as well. :( Aside from what I listed, I really don't like much else off the album sadly.. Many songs are suitable for fashion shows and the runway, as well as clubs. Or they are styled like the 1980's, which I'm not a huge fan of...
Plus the covers are...:dead2

Mirrorcle Monster 18th May 2011 09:23 PM

I agree with everything except the bold part.
For me THE FAME MONSTER was her good era and now she has gotten super weird and she's trying way too hard.

amorphose 19th May 2011 01:17 AM

I doubt it's gibberish in Scheiße. Her pronunciation must just be terrible if that's what it sounds like to German-speakers. :laugh Now I'm curious to see the lyrics. xD

either way.

rookies 19th May 2011 02:05 AM

Bad Kids and Govenment Hooker was really disappointing. To me, both tracks are the worst songs on the album.

Aside from that, I really enjoyed the album. :)

JackieRos 19th May 2011 02:16 AM

I downloaded the two disc edition but is in 128kbps

MemorialAddress 19th May 2011 03:29 AM

I don't normally download leaks. I prefer waiting for my own copy to arrive... maybe I'm just weird lol
I can't wait to hear the album though!!

CHE.R.RY 19th May 2011 03:33 AM

^ Nah I'm the same way...if I'm gonna buy it then I refuse to listen to a leak. I didn't pre-order the album but I'm definitely gonna buy it the first day it comes out. I'm so excited cuz I've only listened to BTW & Judas! I can't wait to hear the rest :yatta!

MemorialAddress 19th May 2011 04:01 AM

^Me too! I heard a clip of Hair and it sounded good too. I can't wait to hear the full album!! :D

NintendoHTF1242 19th May 2011 04:06 AM

I'm on Bad Kids right now. So far, I've really enjoyed Marry the Night, Born This Way, Judas, Hair, Scheiße, and Bad Kids. My only issue with this album is her enunciation :/ There are some moments in the songs where I just cannot understand what she's saying lol. But I actually really like the album <3 Much better than The Fame. Don't know if it surpasses The Fame Monster, to be honest. But it's very, very enjoyable (well, from what I've heard so far).

Well, she could speak German if you like? ;)

But I know what you mean! Sometimes I think it's because she's just simply not speaking English though.

Speaking of that, am I the only one hearing "honker" during the HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKER part in Government Hooker? xD; It sounds so nasal!

NintendoHTF1242 19th May 2011 04:41 AM

^ Well, I had the same issue with Telephone lol. She just doesn't try enunciating or something. Anyway, I'm on "The Edge of Glory". Fashion of His Love, Highway Unicorn (Road to Love), Electric Chapel, The Queen, Yoü and I, and The Edge of Glory are sooo good (especially The Edge of Glory!!). I think I'll give the remixes a listen tomorrow. But this was a very enjoyable album, and I'm sooo buying the deluxe edition when it comes out <3

Zeke. 19th May 2011 04:41 AM

Some songs I can't stand (Americano, Judas, Born This Way) and others I actually like (Hair, Edge of Glory, Scheibe) and the rest have good elements to them but tend to feel anti-climactic at points and sometimes doesn't flow well. It annoys me when they have good. Bloody Mary's chorus is a little weak and every time I hear it my brain wants to start singing "Don't you want me baby?" that song from the 80s, Government Hooker is kinda annoying, Bad Kids's chorus is very awkward - it's like, "what?" it doesn't flow at all, Highway Unicorn I like the overall feel to it and the powerful feeling it has but can't help but feel it's missing like the extra 5% from making it super, Electic Chapel is great and I love the "doot dootoo" stuff (also reminds me of another song from the past can't put my finger on it) but the chorus is just so watery it sounds like something leading up to a powerful chorus so it fails to give you that KICK in the face some of GaGa's most powerful, catchy and best tunes do.

I like the chorus of Hair and Scheibe the most because they have a genius melody and power to them. Still can't really get what she is screaming sometimes in Hair but the melody sounds good so I won't complain, lol.

Overall, nothing on this album is better than Bad Romance, Love Game, Alejandro, Monster, - only thing that this album beats for the majority is Teeth and Telephone. Lol.

Rating: 3/5 2/5 Would have been a 3 (well maybe a 2.5) but GaGa so overly hyped this as her best work ever and really it is anything but.

I think I agree with everything you say, all but Born this way.. I love the song and its such a great message and a reminded of the 80's! lol

Listened to the album again... and I still hate Judas, Americano, and Government Hooker

Nu-NRG 19th May 2011 05:25 AM

After a good listen to the album my conclusion to the album...it lacks that special "oomph" I get from TFM album since the 8 songs really flows wells but this one I don't know it feels forced to be cohesive and some of the songs are really repetitive to me. I really can't stand the album version of Government Hooker it is..annoying rather..I had hopes for the song but it isn't what I imagine it to be. Whoever composed Marry The Night needs to be shot, the song is really messy and weird.

Good songs: Schiße, Electric Chapel, Americano
So so songs: Hair, Judas, The Edge of Glory, Heavy Mental Lover

the rest...meh

I rate this album... 5 out of 10

koumori 19th May 2011 08:04 AM

The Fame Monster era is over, so I'm not going to compare it to that album...in that sense. I think that this album has quality songs on it; some of them have really grown on me.

The only one I'm "meh" about is Heavy Metal Lover. The rest, I can put on repeat..except for Born This Way, which is totally out of place imo. Weird since it's the title song.

8/10.

tokyoxjapanxfan 19th May 2011 08:24 AM

I can't form a definite opinion yet, but I don't really enjoy the heaviness of the album at first listen. The heavy '80s influence isn't my thing either. I love '80s music, but an entire album with obvious '80s influence is a bit much.

However, her voice is really fantastic. I just don't see myself leaving any of these songs on repeat, as of right now. The majority of them are just too monotonous for me... "Hair" is one of the better songs on the album, imo.

But I'm keeping an open mind. My feelings could completely change.

PS - On the topic of enunciation, I thought I was the only one. WHen I first listened to Hair, I had no idea what she was saying half the time, haha. And in "Bad Kids" it sounds like she's saying "bigots" to me. :S

JackieRos 19th May 2011 12:36 PM

The Queen - is pretty cool.
Fashion of his love - I think pure amazing.. lol Its SOOO 80's and I love it!
Black Jesus - okay.. nothing special about it.

I havnt listened to the remixes on CD 2, but I have come to learn i dont care for any of her remixes.. I dont know, I jsut havent found one I like yet.

EXACTLY. Sadly, nothing beats fame monster, though for me a few come close..scheibe, born this way, judas, and americano are up there. Americano may beat fame monster but that's it.

These are the most amazing remixes ever of GaGa. You must listen! I like them better than the originals!

Also, how the Hell can anyone even listen to Americano!? It's downright dreadful!

Aw really?? :( I love the Paparazzi one - it gives it kind of a melancholic, bittersweet sadness feel to it. They are all different so it's hard to rank which ones I love best but overall Bad Romance is the most sick for me and the other two are equal in my book. Glad I could bring these to your attention though :)

SURREAL__RAINBOW 20th May 2011 12:08 AM

haven't listened to the limited tracks cause I just haven't found them at all lol

But my favorites are: Marry The Night, Government Hooker, Americano, Scheiße, Hair, The Edge Of Glory and Judas :love

I still think there's no excuse for people not to appreciate this great album, just the fact that they miss the old Gaga doesn't do it for me :shrug

If she got stuck doing the same thing for 3 years, I would've ditched her.

Funny thing that she said in this one interview, around The Fame Monster era, about people wanting to see people who were succeeding fail, that is somehow what everyone is expecting from raising stars in general.

So true, everyone seems to be expecting Lady Gaga to fail and go down hill like many others did. Just, if you are one of those people, don't try to push it too hard lol

pommy48 20th May 2011 12:14 AM

Hmm I really only like Marry The Night, Bloody Mary, and Electric Chapel

I deleted the other songs as soon as I finished listening to them. I really liked Government Hooker when it first leaked, but the chorus is just annoying me lately~

I hope this album will grow on me because it's a good album, but not great imo

TeamAyu2004 20th May 2011 12:23 AM

I think thats getting me with the Paparazzi.. it has such an amazing beat to begin with, I feel like the remix is missing something from the original... now looking back at it, I do feel this version fits to the lyrics much better... the melancholic feeling.. I see it, I feel it...I like it... ( lol, it does kind of make me sad <- re-listening.. lol)

thinkingoutloud89 20th May 2011 12:49 AM

The wait for this album was stupid. i can't find anything in like 60% of the tracks and I'm not going to say I love them only because I like GaGa for the way she sees and does things.

there are a fews good and bad trackks here and there but nothing can live up to Jus Dance, The Fame, bad Romance, teeth or any of the other older tracks I love.

hell, I know that would happen back when BTW (Song) came out, but i got a few sparks of hopes after Judas....and now this....next plz...I hope it does not take her another 2 years or so...I bet she can **** out a song every day if she wanted to..

Yes it really suits the lyrics "I'm your biggest fan, I'll follow you until you love me... Papa-Paparazzi" - the way the song was reworked really gives you that sadness feeling where even if all hope is lost, I'll still continue to follow you... That's why I love it so much. Haha.

jbrat2219 20th May 2011 02:47 AM

I agree with those who say it's a good album but not definitely not as good as she made it out to be. The more I listen, the more I like it... Somehow, Hair grew on me! (that sounds a little weird :laugh) My favorites so far are: Bloody Mary, Government Hooker, Unicorn Highway, Heavy Metal Lover and Judas.

JackieRos 20th May 2011 02:51 AM

I don't like this album not because "I'm stuck in the FAME MONSTER era",
I don't like this album because the songs are not my liking and she has gotten too weird.

I don't care for an artist's attitude, is all about the music for me but this is getting ridiculous.
I still listen to her because she makes good music.

Is just opinion so whatever.

amorphose 20th May 2011 03:05 AM

Don't we go through this every time Ayu releases an album too? "It's not as good as she said!" Uhh, all artists always say their new album is better than the last. If you're not disregarding those comments from them by now... you're silly. :P Could you imagine the weird look on people's faces if she was all "Well, my upcoming album is good, however, it doesn't beat The Fame Monster!" :laugh

TeamAyu2004 20th May 2011 03:23 AM

I think the problem is that gaga was saying this is going to be so great, its like nothing herd of before, bla bla bla.. it just sets it up to fail.

Zeke. 20th May 2011 03:30 AM

Yeah GaGa has said they were working on something to top Poker Face and it was Bad Romance and now she was saying how she promised to give everyone the best damn album of the "entire decade". That's a big statement GaGa.

AyUta 20th May 2011 03:34 AM

this.
The bolded text!! The album really isn't that great honestly it is messy and not my kind of style I'd prefer even though it is a good attempt of the 80's sound but still please a lot of the songs are really quite badly composed(messy) :(

Zahara 20th May 2011 04:16 AM

I think I'm one of the few people that actually like this album. I loved TFM, but this album brings back nostalgic memories of my childhood in the 80s and my sister blasting music from then.

The only song I dislike is Americano.

milky_way 20th May 2011 04:21 AM

^ I like it too :yes

elvis810 20th May 2011 05:00 AM

I love this album, best work ever!!!! I'm sooooo buying it on Monday!!

I don't get why people liked the fame so much and wanted her to keep doing the same thing. for me, i would like to see her trying different types of music cuz she has the talent and a solid musical background.

Best tracks are Scheibe, Judas, Marry The Night, Bloody Marry, electric Chapel and Hair.

Bad Kids just failed and sounds like materials in the fame.

I can do without the 3 extra tracks on the special edition...they are boring.

YES! And that's exactly why I'm so pleased with this album. She tried something very different from everything else she's done so far and succeeded. And I personally thought The Fame wasn't even a good album. It floated by on the singles alone, with some listenable album tracks and only one that was amazing imo (Paper Gangsta...BDR too if you don't count that as a single). The Fame Monster was definitely amazing, but I think we'd all be bored if she just gave us a rehash of that. We all know if that were the case, everyone would be calling her unoriginal: first for "copying" Madonna with Born This Way and second for not changing and playing it safe with what she knows sells (as if that's even her at all).

ll moments ll 20th May 2011 05:40 AM

^ IA. it took me a really, really long time to appreciate The Fame. i only heard "Just Dance" and when i first listened to The Fame as a whole, i really wasn't impressed. to me, it sounds more outdated than Born This Way. i think the reason why i even like The Fame now is because i saw her in concert in 2009. LOL.

i think i need more spins of BTW to see how it holds with TFM, but i much rather take her more recent material than her previous ones, imo.

i want to buy Born This Way, but i don't know what edition to get. i wasn't impressed with the bonus tracks on the Special Edition, but it has a better album cover. haha.

millie47 20th May 2011 05:44 AM

after listening to each and every track, I must say 70% are not likable... x|
I can't seem to pick up most of her tracks. I feel most of them are ABSTRACT. I find them very hard to comprehend... :no

amorphose 20th May 2011 05:51 AM

I didn't really like The Fame. I only like Paparazzi, Beautiful Dirty Rich, Starstruck, and Boys Boys Boys. I think every song on TFM blows all those out of the water though.

About GaGa calling it the best album of the decade-- I have to say it's up there for me considering we're only in the second year of the decade. :P It's on par with Teenage Dream and Loud for me.

CHE.R.RY 20th May 2011 07:29 AM

Okay on second thought...I'm starting to really worry from what I'm hearing the album is just 'meh'. I think I might download it & sample it before I fork out money on it lol. I find it hard to imagine Gaga disappointing me, but still you never know :/....

LOL.

i think i need more spins of BTW to see how it holds with TFM, but i much rather take her more recent material than her previous ones, imo.

i want to buy Born This Way, but i don't know what edition to get. i wasn't impressed with the bonus tracks on the Special Edition, but it has a better album cover. haha.

exactly, the 3 additional tracks were not impressive at all. And I really think the album sounds a lot better without them. But oh well, the font of the standard edition is horrible so I'm getting the special one.

hightea_xx 20th May 2011 12:34 PM

totally agree that the extra tracks are not that great.

however, i'm loving a lot of the other tracks!

love love love americano, scheiße, bloody mary (so haunting), bad kids, heavy metal lover, and you & i! Also love born this way, judas and edge of glory.

hair, mary the night and government hooker are nice.

the rest for me are very skippable.

i think, for me, what will make these tracks truly amazing is if and when i see them live... a lot of the songs on the fame monster i didn't like until i saw them live and really experienced them before i could fall in love with them. to be honest, i didn't like judas until i saw her live performances; only then was i sold!

I like Judas, Americano, Hair, Born This Way, Scheiße for now... The album is still messy for me :P

I like this song nonetheless.

Either way just my opinion and not only you said the same thing.
If you want to think something else knock yourself outit lmao

stepYOU1234 20th May 2011 03:17 PM

I like it. I really like Marry the Night, Judas, EOFG, Scheisse, Americano and Electric Chapel.
What I do wish is that The Fame Monster was a full album (to include vanity and glitter and grease) and then I wouldn't be wishing for more songs in that vein, because BTW is different!
I do still like it though, but I think that it what is holding back a huge amount of liking!
Damn, she has pushed her amazing voice again! Her voice often catches me off guard because I'm not used to singers actually being talented at singing >.< Not many singers could get away with anything this weird because you need a good voice to carry off this!

amorphose 20th May 2011 03:25 PM

I'm really in love with Heavy Metal Lover. :heart

JackieRos 20th May 2011 04:15 PM

^yes I love it :heart

AyuHamasaki01 20th May 2011 04:16 PM

I like her new album. Although I think it's not as good as her previous album.

My favorite songs are: Scheiße, Judas, Americano, Bloody Mary and Electric Chapel.
The Edge Of Glory has really grown onto me :yes I really like the song now.

yabieru 20th May 2011 04:22 PM

Black Jesus + Amen fashion has grown on me. The chorus is amazing *-*

Scheiße Lyrics

Looks like a mixture of different languages to me...?
There are only 3 German words there: Scheiße, Ich and Fräulein.

Neither of those songs would've fit on The Fame Monster at all. The Fame yes, but by TFM her style already advanced beyond the drunk electro chick persona.

milky_way 20th May 2011 08:48 PM

I still want a studio verson of Glitter and Grease :yes

CHE.R.RY 20th May 2011 08:54 PM

Wow this album is so awesome!!! I don't think it's that weird at all! It's still full of the dance style that I love from Gaga sooo much! I'm so relieved that Gaga didn't let me down!!! I'm definitely buying this album! :heart

I love: Marry the Night, Judas, Americano, Government Hooker, Bloody Mary, Scheiße, Highway Unicorn (Road To Love), Bad Kids, Heavy Metal Lover, Electric Chapel, The Edge of Glory, Yoü And I

& the remixes were surprisingly good! My favs: Born This Way (Country Road Version) - better than the original imo (kind of always had a country sound to it), Judas (DJ Shadow Remix), Scheiße (DJ White Shadow Mugler)

Songs I don't care for as much: Born This Way (ironically it's the name of the album lmao, but eh nvm been that great to me), Hair (too much like BTW imo, which I don't like but it was kind of nice so it could grow on me), The Queen, Black Jesus † Amen Fashion (probably the most boring song imo), & Fashion Of His Love (it was just meh)

I can't stand the way they display lyrics in the booklet in the West... So boring.

it's weird, because i don't consider this track my favorite one on BTW, but i. can't. stop. listening. to. it. it's sexy. :laugh

jbrat2219 21st May 2011 05:20 AM

^ I know, it's interesting because it's less produced than the other tracks and it's very simple but that's probably why it's one of the best songs on the album for me. :yes

AyuHamasaki01 21st May 2011 03:26 PM

And a few days ago I discovered that Gaga's concert will be shown on the Dutch tv tonight :yatta.

rookies 21st May 2011 09:47 PM

Highway Unicorn (Road to Love) was co-produced by RedOne (as mentioned in the CD Booklet).

I thought he only produced 3 of the songs (Judas, Schiebe, Hair), but it turns out he is involved too in Highway Unicorn. Nice. :)

KremlinChaos 21st May 2011 09:47 PM

I'm glad I'm not the only one loving Heavy Metal Lover. There's something about it that makes me want to keep listening to it :p.

jbrat2219 22nd May 2011 04:01 AM

This might be a random comment, but I'm heavily in love with the drums in Highway Unicorn.
