Me and Elin really lucked out yesterday, and arrived about an hour before Ayu came out. That she took time to sign things and take pictures with every single person was really cool :)

Uh, thanks to Berlin I am as good as.. broke. And no, my parents won't help me out if I tell them I just want to fly over from London to Amsterdam in a weekend in attempt to see Ayu. Sooo, OR I need to wait 'til November the 24th when I get my salary and then go to London (not sure if she is still there then :( ) or I just need to see, green of envy, how you guys met her haha. Keep posting stories and photos!

So, here I go!~ (And OMG I'm totally putting a spoiler on this cuz it got really long! I'm so sorry you guys!!) Sorry for my bad grammar and verbiage. >.<

Story~
Spoiler:

When Ayu came to London in 2010 I lived in Tokyo. Lol. So when I returned to Sweden I promised myself to go next time. When the news of her return came out I started selling a bunch of stuff on internet auctions e.t.c. to get money. And I made it! :D I got enough money for a ticket + hotel in London for two days. I realized that my chanse in meeting her in just two days would be quite small, but I couldn't afford any longer time.

For being from a northen city in Sweden I had to ride with 3 different planes before I got to London. I arrived at 13 pm in London on the saturday, got picked up my Matt, went to the hotel to check in, went to Ayu's hotel. There we waited for only one hour and then Mitsu came out telling everyone that Ayu would come out soon. He also told us to call our friends if they had walked away from the hotel so they could come back and meet her. Really really nice of him!

Then she came out. Since me and Matt came just one hour before that we placed us in the back of the line since all the other fans had been there all day waiting. So in the beginning I just heard that she was about 10 meters in front of me. But I could not see her at all. It was a really strange feeling. I kind of didn't feel anything. And I thought to myself "shouldn't I be all excited and crazy and about to cry or something?"

Then we got closer and I could spot her from times to times. But I still didn't feel so much. The only thing I noticed about myself was that I got a bit quiet and started to look at her without even noticing the world around me. But still I thought to myself "Why not excited? What's wrong with me?"

Then finally we got in the front of the line. Matt asked me if I wanted to go before him and I refuced. I was not ready. My heart started to beat realy fast and I was simply not ready at all to face her. So Matt met Ayu and got his picture with her and suddenly it was my turn.

Ayu looked at me and waved at me to come closer. Here I completly shut of. I had no idea were my mind was at this moment, but I stopped obsessing about my lack in excitement. I got completly starstruck. Cuz in real life I'm quite chatty but at this moment I almost didn't speak at all. (So much for making an impact on Ayu, lol.) I didn't even look into her eyes. It was kind of to much. So I kept looking at the street or her staff or something else. I gave her my letter and present I had made. She didn't understand that the present was for her at first and just took the letter and said "Thank you!" Then I said "Oh this too, it's a small present..." and gave her the present. She looked kind of supriced and thanked me again. Then she asked her if I didn't have anything to sign so I gave her my Fly High CD and the R'n'RC photobook to sign for me and H green booklet to sign for Stacey. "This is for my friend from Canada."

Then it was picture time! I used Matt's camera since mine have a will on it's own and I guessed it would fail me on this important time as well. Ayu started hugging me and her face was really close to mine. I just keept on being out of words and tried to make a little smile but I guess I just look small (like a little girl) and really nerveous. The picture was taken and they asked me if it was okay or if I wanted to take another one. I looked at my picture with Ayu really quietly and my head was blank. But I looked at my 16-year-old-girlish face and figured I wated to try again to make a new try. With a happier myself!

I asked "Eeh....on...more...? Is that ok....?" And Ayu and her staff was like "Yes of course! Here we go again!" I looked at Ayu and thought to myself that she must be really cold by now (since I was almost last in line and she had no jacket on an already had taken pictures with all these fans). "I'm sorry... You must be really cold". She answered "Yeah, but you know. ;)" and then she started to hug me even more and rubbed my back. Mistu was about to take the picture but then he lowerd the camera and fixed my hair a bit to make it look better. I gave him a thank-you-look and said "Oh, thats right. ;)" Then Ayu placed her face right in front of mine and started to fix my hair too. When she was done she said "Ok!" with a really happy voice and the picture was taken. I got my signed stuff back from the staff and waved good bye to Ayu and said like one hundred thanks to her and her staff.

Then, like one second after I walked away I got really supriced cuz my tears started come out of my eyes like crazy. I figured that I was actualy really excited the whole time. In a way it was nice to feel my tears. Cuz then I realized that this excperience did mean the world to me, even though I was way to startstruck to realize that earlier. :P I tried so hard not to burst out crying loudly but everyone who saw me was so nice and said thing like "I did the same when I met her the first time." After some minutes of trying to hold myself together Ayu said she wanted a group pic and while walking to the spot for the group photo she walked next to me and I dared to look at her a bit more than before and she's simply goooorgeous. I can't even... Really pretty, inside and out. :heart

After the group pic she thanked everybody and waved us goodbye.

I was really lucky with this meeting. That I arrived from Sweden to her hotel just one hours before she came out! Cuz even though I waited outside the hotel the whole evening on the sunday she only came out this one time on saturday. Just think how close I was to miss it! I think that's all, I'm still too happy to think clearly so I'm sorry for my bad grammar and verbiage. >.<


I'm so truly happy right now, I can't even tell you guys how much. It just feels crazy. I'm so lucky to have met her!

Oh god, your story sound so sweet (just like all the other reports) makes me cry everytime. I so wanted to go(I even was willing to take money from my savings book), but my stupid bachelor thesis got in the way.

She really has a great timing ^_^. Last time Ayu was in London I was in the middle of my exams and now my bachelor thesis. Hopefully I'll get my chance someday *praying hard*

Still it's so much fun to read all these experiences from all the lucky fans, who got to meet her.

We arrived at Ayus hotel on Friday, on time for the coffee. XD I was sad we could not see Ayu but my husband won the note that Ayu gave to her fans. =)

These experiences are cool but I am not going to lie, Ayu looks so old in all of these pics. Her hair is not flattering and her face looks unrealistacally tight. I would say she looks near 40-50 years old with treatments done to her face. That's how I think she looks at the moment.

^ I think it's a bit ridiculous to judge her just by these pics. here is complained often (me included) how overphotoshopped she looks in some of her shoots, so it's wonderful to see her natural in these fan pics, and it would be cool to see someone not complaining about her pictures for once. :rolleyes it's also relatively often that you see someone in a photo and it doesn't do him/her justice. Rihanna does not look that great in pics, but in person she looks stunning. and almost everyone here has stated ayu is beautiful in person.

congrats to you all, it seems all problems were totally worthy just to see her. So nice to see she actually appreciate your efforts and behaves so kindly! :love :D ;)

the present you gave misselin is absolutely A-DO-RA-BLE. lucky ayu :D

That's what a flash from short distance and a therefore overexposed image does to your face depending on make-up.

My story of meeting Ayu today 15/11/2011

I was lucky arrived at the hotel at 17:00 and joined others who were waiting for Ayu.
All together there were about 10 of us, from then we waited another hour when a hotel employee approached asking who we were waiting for, when we said that we are waiting for Ayu he said that her staff contacted the hotel asking them to tell us that she will be arriving soon and that we will get a chance of seeing her. And at around 18:30 she arrived! She talked to everyone and took a several photos with each one of us. Her staff were taking photos also on her iphone and her camera. When it was my turn I gave her my painting that i did for her. She looked a surprised and said "It is so pretty! Thank you!" I was soooooo happy!! I told her in Japanese that this is a present for her from me and Russian fans. That I made it for her, and that it is supposed to be her in our Russian winter outfit. I hope she liked it. Then we took some photos. I still donno how to use my camera so only one turned out to be good. But nonetheless I'm very happy!!! I'm posting here my photo with Ayu and a painting that I did for her.

i actually agree with you. i'm not saying this in a negative way, but in fan pictures for the last couple of years i think its hard to deny that you can see her aging. everyone gets older, so i don't see why people get upset about it. ayu will of course start looking older too. i mean, i'm 29 and i've aged in the past few years and ayu is what, 32 or 33? she doesn't look 40 or 50 at all (lol), but just the general shape of her face and such, you can tell she's getting into her 30's. she looks less like a girl and more like a woman i guess.

personally, i think it looks great on her. age is something i think is great, its distinguishing.

anyway, i'm really happy for everyone's experiences! i feel like ayu is being so much more friendly with the fans every time she meets them! in LA she was really friendly, but i feel like in NYC and London she's being even nicer! i think she really loves meeting everyone so much! thats what i adore about her, that she absolutely loves meeting us! :yes

that painting is amazing! adorable picture too. i love her cute bow pin. ayu looks so cute and young in all these fan pics, and she's just so sweet :love anyone that hates this woman totally has no soul.

She looks no older than 19 or 20! She looks so amazing for her age!!

Keeping in mind she works out a heap and would stick to a pretty healthy diet.

and ayu in your pic looks so beautiful and cute and looks young to me.

well anyway, ayu did look older in the red dress pic, but she looks young in the white coat pic..i think that's because of her make up on the red dress pic, it's heavier.
i seriously wanna be like her when i'm in my 30s.
she still looks so ok in her 32/33 age right now.

As someone said, she looks older in pictures, but in person she's just the most beautiful, charming and amazing woman in the world, direct flash is not a good friend for night shots.
We were talking about how "bad" she looks in pictures comparing on how beautiful she is.

Edit: alterna i'm so happy you finally met her!! *·* hahah she might get her hands blue holding the picture like that hahaha funny :)

And I agree with someone that said: It was great to meet all ayufans there, really a great experience! I hope to meet you again in future, of course to meet Ayu again haha :D

Ayu looks her age, but what's wrong with that? i think the hair cut is what's making her look older for the most part. her skin is amazing, though!

It's def the hair, and the way the lighting makes the shadows fall on her skin~~ I thought it was looking quite unnaturally tight as well.


Her white coat :luv2 :luv2 She looks so different in that picture compared to all the other ones lol

I am one of the lucky ones who could meet ayu on saturday and... it was just AMAZING!

I was very nervous and I couldn't even say that I am from Spain, hahaha. But she looked at me and she was SOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!! She signed my cd and then she made the photo with me. After that, I asked her...

Me: Ayu, can I give you a hug?
Ayu: OOOOOhhhhhh.... OF COURSE!!

And then she opened her arms and gave me a BIG HUG!! When I was embracing her, I told her (trying not to cry):

ME: Thank U sooo much for coming to London. I could finally meet you here!

And then, she looked at my eyes and said:

Ayu: Thanks to you! Thank you so much for come to see me.

And... I was the happiest man in the world! I don't know why but I felt she REALLY said that from her heart.

After that, one friend (who came with me only to make company) took a picture with her and told her: He is the one who is listening EVERYDAY your music!! EVERYDAY!! hahaha

And ayu looked at me and started to laugh! hahaha. That was very funny! She looked at me smiling and very sourprised! haha. I can't explain how I felt in that moment, but I can't delete that image from my mind! I was awesome!! XD

Great memories with everybody!! I want to meet her AGAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!!!! hahahaha

Does anyone have any more information about her being in London? I live in the UK and a train ride to London would take about three hours, I'm also off work next week, so a trip to London would be totally feasible. Does anyone else know how much longer she is in London for? Are any other board members intending on trying to meet her? I'd love to go and meet her (and show her my Ayu inspired tattoo!), so any help would be great!! Thanks!

Hey guys!

Just got back from waiting outside the hotel for 6 hours!

The staff said she was due back at 7pm but we followed her on Twitter and she said she went out for dinner afterwards...

It got too late I had to come back home

I'll be back on Saturday to give it another chance!!
