Mai82Go 25th January 2012 02:51 PM

^^I didn't know that. It makes things more complicated that's true. Basically the thing you need is someone who is in Fukuoka and buys the tickets for you. ;_; But good luck with the lottery anyway. Tell us how it worked out later, ok?

^Yes, scalpers. But that's as risky as the reseller shops. It's not impossible, though. But it's understandable that she wants her tickets before she goes to Fukuoka.

~angel*ayumi~ 25th January 2012 02:57 PM

I think I will wait and see first if I win some tickets at TA, and if yes what tickets. If I don磘 win this problem is gone anyways ^^
Maybe I can buy of some cheap bad seat tickets from yahoo as a reserve to be safe xD
I guess reseller shops in Osaka/Kyoto are won磘 have tickets for other cities?

From those dates, I think I will go to the Yokohama one.

Yeah I know :( I considered attending one of the Yokohama dates, but I am not sure if I'll be able to do so due to financial problems. I am sure she'll have some Yoyogi dates announced, but the question is when :(

Zeke. 25th January 2012 07:59 PM

You never know, you might get extremely lucky with a scalper. I know I ended up selling my 5th row ticket A block to someone outside the arena for $100 only and it cost me $650.

HilaryDuffFanboy 26th January 2012 03:25 AM

^OMG Why was I not there, which concert was it

SunshineSlayer 26th January 2012 05:14 AM

Also the big advantage to the resale shops is you get to chose your seat. I actually got the worst seats I've ever gotten from the fanclub. :thud

Harajuku's Gurakudoh
Ueno, Shinjuku and Shibuya's Yokohama ticket

Yeah, Amuro tickets can be kind of scarce these days - I missed seeing her tour last year cause the tickets were too expensive and scarce this time around. :(
I've never been to the Shinjuku store, but the Ueno and Shibuya stores the last few years ALWAYS have Ayu tickets and quite a lot of them too especially if you are planning on going to one of the shows in or around Tokyo.(Saitama, Yokohama, Chiba etc) I've seen tickets for other areas too, but obviously not as many.

Wow that sucks. You couldn't have held out for more? :)
Why were you selling the ticket?

Thanks! I'm living in Bunkyo and going to school in Chiyoda so I may hit up the Shinjuku one but I may just go to Harajuku because I definetly know how tho get there and it seems like they have the most tickets.

The Harajuku shop has the most tickets for IDOL groups these days; some for solo artists, but not a lot. If you are living in Bunkyo (that's where I work btw^_^), the Ueno ticket store is close.

I've seen reseller outlets in Fukuoka, just walk around downtown and you'll spot them really easily. They have bright yellow/blue neon signage that says "ticket" or something. ;)

ayuuk 26th January 2012 02:01 PM

^Thanks, Misa-chan. Do they have a name (like "Yokohama tickets" in Tokyo)?

Misa-chan 26th January 2012 02:14 PM

^I don't remember the exact name, but it was some cheesy thing, like "ticket 24/7" or "ticket shop" or something. :P The characters for ticket is "チケット", so just look for a store with a yellow signboard that says that. ;)

Worse case scenario, just let your hotel reception staff or hostel owner know what you're looking for, and I'm sure they'll do their best to help. ^^

tokyoxjapanxfan 26th January 2012 02:47 PM

I entered for tickets for 4/8 :)

I figured it'd be fun being there for her debut day. But I'm sure every other fan is thinking the same thing...

Gonna wish you good luck, but only if you wish me luck too ;P
I am hoping that I have better chances because I am not enetering for the "main travel area" tickets xD

LacusClyne 27th January 2012 02:29 PM

I need to match her dates with my school exchange student trip, but I will only know the available trip date like 1 month before, so I'll just go to the reseller shops to grab my ticket.

kiseki89 29th January 2012 12:35 PM

hey just wondering how early can non fans buy her tickets? I might be planning for my first trip to tokyo ...

TeamAyu2004 29th January 2012 02:27 PM

:o Yeah i meant non TA fans.
Hmm guess I shall just leave it up to fate if i can go to her tour

Earth_maiden 29th January 2012 05:19 PM

Persoanlly I'd just get tickets from a scalper. I'm not going to AT12 but I'll get going to CDL12-13, which seems to be much harder to get tickets for... :thud

TeamAyu2004 29th January 2012 05:31 PM

^ I wonder if she was do anything special since it will start off her 15 years in the business? (besides nothing from nothing)

JinHamasaki 29th January 2012 06:23 PM

I'm planning on Tokyo for this summer. So it looks like I'll go to the Shizuoka concert. It's only one hour on the bullet train, but I more than likely will stay the night in Shizuoka. I've never been to Shizuoka (or outside of Tokyo) so I think it will be a fun day trip!

hayasaki 29th January 2012 08:35 PM

Anyone going to Nagoya shows? I'm planning to get tickets for May 27/28. :D

Pieces_of_SEVEN 29th January 2012 10:27 PM

hayasaki - i'm about to change my flight schedule, before...my schedule is from 12-19 July 2012, but there is no ayu concert on that date, then i want to change it from 21 - 30 May, and there is concert at Nagoya...

Anyone here have some info about Nagoya? and how to get concert tickets in that city? any reseller shop?
I need to make a quick decision to change my flight schedule...
Please help!

elvis810 31st January 2012 09:28 AM

No reseller shops that I know of, it gets hard outside of Tokyo with ticket reseller shops.
I would definitely buy on Yahoo Auctions!

AyuGAME 31st January 2012 10:57 AM

^i see...
i think it will be easier get ticket for yokohama arena concert, right? not far from tokyo, maybe it will be easier...

HilaryDuffFanboy 31st January 2012 11:11 AM

^Yokohama arena tickets will definitely be sold at Tokyo reseller stores!!! Yokohama is only 30 minutes by train (theres like a train every 5 minutes to go to Yokohama) so doing a concert in Yokohama sort of counts as doing them in Tokyo because it's really easy to get to.

AyuGAME 31st January 2012 11:33 AM

Hmm...ok..yokohoma is better...
i will try to change my schedule to match the concert at yokohama arena...
i'm not sure, if i can move my flight ticket schedule from July to May...Wish me luck!

crea_spain 31st January 2012 03:27 PM

Nagoya has a lot of reseller shops:

http://www.igami.co.jp/
http://www.esca-sc.com/variety_0062.html (very close to JR Nagoya Sta.)

AyuGAME 31st January 2012 03:31 PM

^they sold concert ticket as well jorge? have you tried it?

crea_spain 31st January 2012 03:35 PM

Yes, they sell Ayu concert tickets but maybe too expensive.
In 2010 I bought my ticket for Nagoya through scalpers.

AyuGAME 31st January 2012 03:41 PM

^If you remember...is it really pricey? how big the different between the reseller shop and scalpers?

crea_spain 31st January 2012 04:00 PM

The main problem you can find if you're going alone is that they sold tickets only in pairs of two, single tickets were not selling, at least I couldn't find any in Nagoya so I bought it near of NGH, it cost me even cheaper than official price.

may be risky as last chance to get tickets but I've ever seen scalpers for her concerts in Saitama, Yoyogi, Nagoya and Osaka around the venues.

TeamAyu2004 31st January 2012 04:56 PM

^ is scalping illegal in Japan?

AyuGAME 2nd February 2012 02:05 PM

in the end..i can't afford to change my flight schedule, the fee is too much for me...almost twice of my flight fee...crazy...
i just can pray, that there will be miracle, that ayu will held concert on the date i visit japan...

:roflmao When I first read this I was like "There is no doubt about that it's illegal to scalp someone!!!!!"

TeamAyu2004 2nd February 2012 08:46 PM

^LOL :lech

Misa-chan 3rd February 2012 02:36 AM

^^ It is probably illegal to scalp, but I always see lots of them at the Yoyogi venue, so maybe noone really cares much? But it'll be best if you get a Japanese friend to buy the ticket from the scalper instead of doing it yourself, since they may jack up the price because you're a foreigner and they know you need a ticket cause that's what you came to Japan for (to see ayu) lol. :laugh

So yeah, it's possible to get really good deals from scalpers, but just be careful! :)

femtrooper 3rd February 2012 03:33 AM

Yeah, I saw scalpers at Yoyogi just as you come down the stairs where the train station is, and honestly, I bet you'd be fine because I didn't see any cops and they were also really obvious about it...but, it's MUCH better to go to a reseller shop because you can think and choose what you want instead of being pressured to buy something that you may regret.

TeamAyu2004 3rd February 2012 03:54 AM

^^ good to know! I think i woudl rather use the reseller shops too... but I wonder if you can find a good deal every known and then with the scalpers?

femtrooper 3rd February 2012 03:59 AM

^ I'm sure you can, but I would check the reseller shops first because at least that's a better guarantee for you than the scalpers...and according to one of my friends who has been several times they try and charge more because they know you're desperate for tickets and will try and fool you with expensive prices since many foreign fans won't speak Japanese.

The reseller shops have the tickets nicely laid out and you can look for awhile and think about it and actually compare prices with different seats. I suppose you could try the scalpers first...? Then if not go back to the reseller shops...but meh, the reseller shops IMO are the best way because it's more legitimate.

AyuGAME 3rd February 2012 04:33 AM

One more week to go till TA Lottery results are announced O_O *excitet*

YUKARI 4th February 2012 06:24 PM

do you guys think it will possible to buy a ticket one week before the actual show?

truehappiness 4th February 2012 06:46 PM

It's probably possible to even get a ticket the day of the show depending on how lucky you get.

polka-dot-jewel 8th February 2012 05:31 AM

Back in 2009, I was able to buy floor seats for one of the Tokyo shows the day of the show. I kid you not, they were cheaper than retail value!! (I think my pair of tickets were 12,000yen, so 6000yen per ticket - and tickets were 7500yen originally!) We got lucky then. For the show the day before, my friend bought us tickets the day before that show - each ticket was 12,000yen, and again we were next to the stage.

Aah, I'm so excited... Once I get my tax return, I plan on getting a plane ticket to Tokyo! Haven't seen her live since 2009, so I'm very excited to return to Japan to see Ayu in concert again!

hayasaki 9th February 2012 11:31 AM

Tickets going on sale to the general public, according to Lawson's website...

4/7 & 4/8 (Saitama) - on sale 3/11
5/12 & 5/13 (Yokohama) - on sale 4/14

everlastingRAINBOW 10th February 2012 05:34 AM

I wasn't selling the ticket for any more than it was worth, but then I would've also have had to sit next to the person who bought it xD

~angel*ayumi~ 12th February 2012 11:34 AM

One question about the TA tickets, don创t you get to know your seats until you get your tickets? And do they really just send 1-2 weeks before the concert? I whould like to know enough time before what seats I have to buy some others in case I really get crap seats >< Or do TA members usally get decent seats eg not some in the last corner of the hall?

tokyoxjapanxfan 12th February 2012 12:13 PM

^ it's completely random. and yes you don't know your seat until you print out your tickets.

It's just a guaranteed ticket at list price. For RnRC first day, I had the -worst- seats ever. I was completely to the side, almost parallel to the stage, and so I couldn't see anything happening. I had to look at the screens the whole time, unless she was on the runway.

If you want a great ticket, it's almost necessary to go to a ticket shop. However you have to be willing to pay the price.

I am not willing to pay more than list price especially since I see her often (2-3 times a tour, plus a-nation), so I rely on TA.

~angel*ayumi~ 12th February 2012 03:04 PM

mhhh.... damn it ><
Now I don创t know what to do... just hope to get good tickets, and hope they can arrive at my hotel in time, or spent some more money and get avarage seats and maybe sell the 2 spare tickets off at the arena.... hard desicion ._.

TeamAyu2004 12th February 2012 03:53 PM

I have so much money saved up for this!
But I don't know if I will be able to go because I have no job and my dad keeps telling me to get one, lol... so if I spend all this money and not on bills... aww.. the pain that my head will go through! lol

No more dates have been added yet. From what I remember from the past few years, more dates weren't added until a few months after the initial round of dates... So, if she adds more this year, those may not be announced until April or May?

truehappiness 16th February 2012 11:01 PM

I think they wait to gauge what areas need more dates and go from there. Every tour for the last few years has had new dates announced so I'm sure there will be some.

TeamAyu2004 16th February 2012 11:57 PM

Yeah.. I was just thinking about yoyogi... She has done a show there for as long as I can remember!

Tony G 17th February 2012 12:42 AM

I'm sure she will add Tokyo dates in October like usual - its up in the air whether there will be a summer Yoyogi show though. The last few years the summer shows have been announced from the beginning, so maybe there won't be one this time around (3 rounds of shows in Tokyo may have been excessive).

So freaking excited to be going to the Osaka shows, first Ayu concert/s. Have waited way too long for this!

I have absolutely no confidence when it comes to trying to get a ticket to see Ayu. I have no idea why either. *shrug* Plus I feel like I'd devote more time/energy into getting tickets to see Dir en grey in Japan lol. But I'm really glad a lot of you are going, are making plans to go, etc.
