The concert was amazing, i really enjoyed it. and that guitar solo, shes got some skills!

CoriKaru 1st May 2012 04:37 AM

"Dilly Dally" has me in its clutch!

Those outfits they performed the song in though were so mood breaking and off.

I would buy that Single if "Lady Luck" wasn't on it. Songs like that are why J-Pop isn't K-Pop.

Well..it's an encore song to begin with. so naturally they would be in more casual attire and not stage outfits. And I guess that's why they released a Double A-side to have both styles to appeal to more audiences.

sidenote: I can somehow see Namie singing Dilly Dally HAHHA!!

dreamland2.0 1st May 2012 05:50 AM

Loved the concert! So great! This new single is amazing!

freedreamer 2nd May 2012 06:01 PM

I think this is an excellent read for every After School FAN

Star News interviews Pledis CEO, Han Sung Soo
Spoiler:
Although most of the discussion surrounding the international presence of K-Pop centers around the “Big Three” entertainment agencies – SM, YG, and JYP Entertainment – there are numerous smaller, but just as potent, agencies working to bring the Hallyu Wave to even farther shores.

One of those companies is Pledis Entertainment. With acts such as Son Dam Bi, After School, NU’EST, and Orange Caramel under its belt, the firm is a force to be reckoned with.

The CEO of Pledis Entertainment is Han Sung Soo, who jumped into the entertainment industry fray in his 30s when he was a ballerino, eventually becoming a manager for SM Entertainment and, finally, the creator of his own entertainment firm. Star News recently sat down with the man to talk about his plans for the future and his current strategies.

—-

http://static.allkpop.com/wp-content...ter-school.jpg

Why did you decide to transform into a manager from a ballerino?
I began to feel that ballet wasn’t going to be the rest of my career. I was envious of the process of creating creative content, and I thought that with my passion, I would do well in creating art for the masses. Since I had studied pure art, I always had respect for creativity, and after some pondering, I decided to go into the entertainment world. I sent resumes to Daesung Entertainment (now known as DSP Entertainment) and SM Entertainment, but they never contacted me.

You started working as a manager under SM Entertainment.
At first, I didn’t know how hard the work would be, and I only tackled it because I wanted to seek out a challenge. I used to park my car in front of the SM building and become lost in thought. Over two months, I must have visited the building over 30 times. [Laughs] Then miraculously, I got through to President Lee Soo Man and told him outright, “I want to learn”. So that’s how I began working as a manager. Now that I think about it, I have no idea what possessed me to do that. It’s a bit late to say this, but I lied to an SM employee to find out his phone number. [Laughs]

You began at the relatively old age of 30 and created your own company in 10 years.
Working as a manager for BoA, I learned about the domestic and international entertainment process. Everything was an adventure, and I think I gained some unique experience watching it all from up close. Following that, with another company, I debuted a girl group in America called S Blush with Son Dam Bi and Kahi. This process was also a good foundation for today’s K-Pop activities.

How does it feel to look back upon 10 years of success?
In 2007, I took Kahi and Son Dam Bi to create Pledis. We had no building nor an office, but we had certainty. Rather than try to create a singer, I wanted to lay the foundation. So even though we didn’t have an office, we had a practice room. It’s the same now, but we did not spare any expense on trainees. Training is the most important phase. As I saw acts like Son Dam Bi, After School, and NU’EST mature and grow, I feel pride as well as responsibility.

Is there a special Pledis know-how on how to manage your artists?
Pledis places importance on communication and training. We have an institutionalized mentor system, so we regularly have counseling and communication sessions, and we talk often with our artists. We also place focus on performance, so I personally oversee their practice. Our amount of training is on the larger side, for a distinguished performance.

Do you have a unique strategy for the K-Pop market?
We manage our trainees through a training system that connected with various countries overseas. For those living overseas, they have their definite color and style. We have training systems in Los Angeles, Shanghai, and other cities where instructors teach acting and performance. We share opinions through a monitor connection with Seoul. Our training system that participates directly with instructors in the field is the foundational force behind creating a K-Pop star.

How will you work with After School’s graduation and admission concept?
There have already been several groups in Brazil and Japan where the members are switched out constantly. If we were to debate the creation of the admission/graduation concept, it would be Europe. When we reach a certain point, there is still a fear over the word ‘graduation’ when it comes to leaving the team. Of course, if a fan’s favorite member graduates, there will be negative thoughts about never getting to see that member again. Thinking long-term, it is a way to enliven the members’ unique traits and to allow them to exist for a long time in many different forms. Former members Yoo So Young and Bekah left for acting and education, and we’re thinking about the next graduate. If only to wash away the fans’ concerns, the graduates will leave a good precedent before they leave the team. To do that, I feel we need to put in greater effort.

Many fans worry about the graduation system.
It is definitely a strange way of operation. But graduation and admission has been a part of After School since their debut, and the team will move forward based on that fact. It’s not to simply add members, and any graduation and admission is decided upon after a long discussion. Even if they’re celebrities, a company cannot control their wishes and they shouldn’t need to. In the case of Bekah, we gave her several months to think about it, but she decided to graduate.

What are the strong points that Pledis’ artists possess in the K-Pop market?
First of all, we want to turn After School into a group that gives truly amazing performances rather than simply sing and dance. Following our drum performance, we created a tap dance. To enliven their long-term relevance and unique merit, we spun off Orange Caramel, and I think we earned a new market by grouping three members with similar traits together. For NU’EST, we’d like for them to act as the messenger for those in their ‘teens.

Orange Caramel is scheduled to begin Japanese activities this summer.
There hasn’t been a K-Pop group so far with such vivid costumes, huge ribbons, and sweet performance, so the Japanese response has been hot. We will show off Orange Caramel’s unique ‘candy culture’ themed melody and choreography. According to the response, their combination of traditional Korean liveliness and off-the-wall fashion is getting results.

What do you think is a unique positive trait to K-Pop?
Dancing and singing skills to rival those of any foreign pop group, and our streamlined music and performances. The reason why K-Pop is standing in the middle of Asia is not only because of addictive hook songs, but also because of our polished sound and composition. It’s important to always keep learning by communicating with foreign countries.

—-

With two to three teams making their debuts this year, Pledis is beginning to take shape. “K-Pop is beginning to become Asian pop,” Han said. “It’s not an exaggeration to say that it is a cultural revolution tying together all of Asia. Expanding to more foreign countries is good, but I want to responsibly handle our Japanese activities and proceed step-by-step.”

My thoughts:
Honestly I love the vision he has for AFTER SCHOOL in that..they will deliver PROPER PERFORMANCES. THAT is what AFTER SCHOOL is all about. Its a place where members and trainees learn skills together for the future. Members graduating all actually LEARN something new from when they enrolled. But surely Graduating is a sad feeling. It's a phase EVERYONE OF US has to go through in life to move on. From our perspective, it's definitely sad. But as long as the one graduating is happy and has managed to achieve something, then it's time to let them spread their wings. I hope the next graduating won't be right after their comeback though :( (I have a feeling it would be Juyeon or JungA...or Uie who has definitely achieved enough because AFTER SCHOOL was her platform to shine)

yet another graduation </3 but well it's their concept anyway, I couldn't complain :3
I kinda had a feeling that it will be either JungAh or Jooyeon .____.
I still love them both tho :heart

thanks for the bigger covers! soooo cute :heart

freedreamer 3rd May 2012 07:38 AM

Then again..Juyeon has her reputation in Japan..but only one song on Virgin, whereas JungA is really quite fluent in Japanese though many love her but she doesnt have THAT popularity like Kahi, Nana, Uie...and she's also one of the main vocals...so..letting anyone go at this point is really hard. Pledis did say he wants them to build something for themselves before they should graduate (at this point, only Uie has SOMETHING BIG)

AyuHamasaki01 3rd May 2012 06:32 PM

^Yes you're right. I wouldn't be surprised in UEE graduated... but of course I don't want anyone to graduate!

OMG!!!! ORANGE CARAMEL FULL ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!! for Korea right?! Seeing how its still in the demo stages...I think we might wait 2 months after their Korea comeback
WOW 5TH SINGLE ALREADY?! these girls are so hardoworking!!!

edit: Oh wait...5TH KOREAN Single...I thought 5th Japanese single HAHA..Mehh..I dont want just a single after 1yr 2 months?!?! At least a mini album would be nice >.< I guess we will be getting 1 intro and 2 new songs

adantatu2 4th May 2012 04:39 AM

I was watching some parts of the concert, and Dilly Dally is amazing!!!!
Sadly there will not be a pv for the song in the single T______T
Lady Luck isn't bad, but is just that sounds to ME like a track for an album or b-side.

And is the 5th KOREAN single i guess. I hope Kaeun is there.
I think UEE or maybe Juyeon could leave After School

freedreamer 4th May 2012 06:22 AM

Oh he did mention After School's 6TH KOR single..to be released when "THE COLD WIND BLOWS"

MEANS AS WILL HAVE 2 COMEBACKS THIS YEAR!!!! within a period of 6 months!!!! omggg ^^

AyuHamasaki01 6th May 2012 11:20 AM

This is something I just read on afterschooldaze and I thought it makes sense actually.

Playgirlz thoughts: After Schools new concepts match new enrollees.

This post was jacked from a comment left by: dagendiot via an fyafterschool post :P

*******************

After School’s concepts seem to match each new member that joins the group.

E-young has innocent and pure charms so the concept for ‘Shampoo‘ really fit her.

http://i.imgur.com/5Xhdz.gif

Lizzy is really energetic and so were promotions for ‘Bang!‘.

http://i.imgur.com/XrmiJ.gif

When Nana first joined the group she seemed chic and cold. The song ‘Because of You‘ is like this in a way? The feeling lmao.

http://i.imgur.com/Wqn2o.gif

Also, Raina added the powerful factor in the song with her voice.

http://i.imgur.com/MRRws.gif

Now we have KaEun who will be officially debuting in June. I wonder what After School’s next concept will be like – -
I think it makes sense. I hope they'll have a fierce song as a comeback because KaEun looks fierce to me :yes

freedreamer 6th May 2012 03:39 PM

Kaeun looks fierce but seeing her at the concert, she's seems very into the music and strong and her personality is quite bubbly. I think we'll definitely get a hyped and upbeat song.

and that's really true. It does bring out the new member's traits well. (but it'll be better if they had more lines) Bang! does represent Lizzy's character but...her lines dont do justice to that. In fact, Aing~ is TOTALLY more suited for Lizzy HAHAHHA and then agian...eyoung had that inner rock star but..

AyuHamasaki01 6th May 2012 03:43 PM

^Yeah come to think of it, Lizzy didn't even have a solo line in Bang!. She shared hers with Nana. D:

freedreamer 6th May 2012 04:03 PM

There's this other article which I saw on afterschooldaze..that made sense to me how things are happening..

Opinion Piece: KaEun’s Debut Along with Pre-School Girl
Posted on 05/04/2012
Jacked from: k-popforthewin

Just to clarify, this is just my thoughts of what could happen, not what will. No insider information or anything is included!

The last time we had two singles in the space of a few months (Because of You [November 2009] & Bang! [March 2010]) There was an admission for each comeback. Infact, they have had a different line-up for every release in Korea. It makes me feel like Gaeun won’t be the only admission this year…
I feel like Kahi’s tweet about being suprised it was 9 members (Which I too thought was just her being funny and of course already knew) was actually because she thought there would be 10 members for their comeback.
Hello Venus now have three of the four Pre-School Girls. Kyungmin is the only one left. (*Admin insert – that we know of lol)

I think they will release a powerful song that expresses big vocals (Showing off Gaeun’s big vocals), followed by a big dance song, expressing big choreography (Showing off Kyungmin’s dancing ability), similar to BOY and Bang!
I also think it’s the reason why Gaeun isn’t in the 5th Japanese Single. Instead of debuting Gaeun in the 5th JP single then Kyungmin in the 6th, they can just both debut in the 6th Japanese Single together.
Afterall, look: (I didn’t include Happy Pledis as it’s not an actual After School comeback, nor Japanese releases)

AH (5 members)
Diva (6 members)
Because of You (7 members)
Bang! (8 members)
Shampoo (9 members)
Comeback #1 (9 members) *Admin Insert June 21st
Comeback #2 (10 members) *Admin Insert “…when the cold wind begins to blow…”
It’s just a lot of things I’ve put together and thought these things. Remember, it was first rumoured at the beginning of the year that two members would join After School this year. Just a thought there!

the 10th member AS that suppose to be for this comeback..may be a result why AS may have a double Korean comeback this time..just to add a new member and...the fact that Kahi was surprised actually could play a big part in supporting this as well.

AyuHamasaki01 6th May 2012 04:16 PM

^Yes that actually makes a lot of sense :yes

EDIT: It's Raina's b-day tomorrow, she'll turn 23 (24 in Korea) tomorrow :D

Quote:

MOGEF bans songs by Dal Shabet, Miryo, Dynamic Duo and more

The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family (MOGEF) is back again with another round of bans.

According to a report released on April 27th, the MOGEF has gone ahead and banned the music videos for Dal Shabet‘s “Hit U” and Miryo‘s “Dirty” for their use of violence, sexual imagery, and slang. Buga Kingz‘s “Don’t Go” was also banned for the use of violence.

Banned songs include Dynamic Duo‘s “Misunderstanding” and “Innocent Prisoner” for suggesting unwholesome dating and slang, while Dok2‘s “Stop Right There” was criticized for sexually suggestive expressions.

The ban on After School‘s “Funky Man” music video was actually lifted when the MOGEF initially banned the music video for sexually suggestive expressions, along with Orange Caramel‘s “Bangkok City“.

As reported previously, albums that include banned songs cannot be sold to minors, nor can they be planned on air before 10 p.m.

TWO ARTICLES TO SHARE

Rolling Stone
Quote:

The Top 10 K-Pop Groups Most Likely To Break Into America

Originally introduced as a Korean version of the Pussycat Dolls, After School stands out for their live performances. In one promotion cycle, the entire group learned a drum-line routine for single "Bang!," and turned to complicated tap dance for Korean track "Let’s Step Up." As electro-pop dance ballads, tracks like "Shampoo" and "Because Of You" epitomize the genre-blending of K-pop. After School was also the very first winner of the Billboard Japan award for K-Pop New Artist of the Year. With a unique graduation system that keeps the line-up changing (similar to the way the Pussycat Doll brand works), the group can stay relevant and fresh. It’s unclear if any of the current members (nine girls are in the group at press time) can speak fluent English, but with the shifting membership, if an American debut was eyed it would make sense for their label to recruit English-speaking members.

Overseas popularity: Another route for K-Pop acts?

After School debuted with five members, consisting of now ex-member Bekah, a Korean-American whose English fluency appealed to the group's international fans. The group peaked with their 'Because of You' Korean comeback which earned the then-sextet awards across Korea.

After School's first full-length Korean album 'Virgin', released in Philippines in July 2011 debuted at #1 on the Philippines AstroChart, occupying #2 and #3 positions with their two other releases.

Notably, After School's third Korean EP, 'Bang' received more attention in Japan than in Korea with the unique marching band concept. They then made a splashy entrance in Japan with a Japanese remake of 'Bang', which peaked at #7 on the Oricon charts. The group embarked on their sold-out concert tour across Japan in April, announcing the addition of an encore date in June to accommodate more fans. They recently announced a new member -- chosen for her proficiency in Japanese - which would come in handy in their bid to conquer the Japanese market.

Secret for success: With the Japanese crazy over leggy beauties (credit goes to Girls' Generation's 'Genie' choreography, which was a huge hit in Japan), After School members' heights, which are above K-Pop girl-groups' average, is a huge pull for the group. Not forgetting their 'graduation and admission' concept, much like that of popular Japanese idol girl groups Morning Musume and AKB48, which sure brings K-Pop closer to home for the Japanese fans.

AyuHamasaki01 20th May 2012 10:03 AM

AFTERSCHOOL RUNNING MAN
ALL MEMBERS, BROADCAST ON 17TH JUNE & 24TH JUNE

HURRAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :love:love

EDIT: just did some research and realized on the june 17th episode, APink, Girl's Day and Dal Shabet will be on the show too...so I hope its gonna be a fine episode and not like that pathetic SISTAR-MBLAQ episode recently. But i guess...they wont have ALL the screen time. I hope they will get an episode to themselves one day. (and its sad to see them with the same other rising stars of kpop when they clearly been around for a longer time...nonetheless....)

AyuHamasaki01 28th May 2012 10:24 AM

I'm quite curious about their Korean comeback... Because if their comeback is June 21st, shouldn't there have been an official announcement about a new Korean song?

Or did I miss something... xD

freedreamer 28th May 2012 10:39 AM

Well...since its Korea, I wont be surprised if they just drop a teaser only the week before the comeback.

With pledis these days,
Hello Venus had 3 teasers, released one week after another 3 weeks before their actual debut.
NU'EST had individual member teasers and one grp teaser released 2 weeks before their actual debut, with the individual member teasers releasing one by one almost every alternate day.

Im not sure what tactic Pledis will use for After School. I hope we get individual member teasers because I think having 9 teasers + a grp teaser is gonna be SO EPIC.
Considering they will release Lady Luck/Dilly Dally and have their encore concert one week before their comeback, I think we'll be some activities maybe from next week onwards..

I want some previews now~

murasakinohana 1st June 2012 02:36 AM

I wanna know. Who is considered the current "face/visual" for After School? I know it used to be SoYoung or JooYeon. Thanks! :)

adantatu2 1st June 2012 03:45 AM

Nana :)

freedreamer 1st June 2012 03:57 AM

Juyeon...and now Nana haha
Uee is quite representative of After School too I guess...but not the visual as most will say

3 MORE WEEKS GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

adantatu2 1st June 2012 04:54 AM

UEE is the most popular (or one of the most popular) for her acting career.
Nana is the most beautiful and she appears many times in the MV's, CM's and TV shows.
Kahi is the leader, so she is one of the most complete artists (she can sing, dance, rap and act).

AND YAY !!! Only 3 more weeks, i can't wait :)

Kahi to graduate from After School

Pledis Entertainment has revealed that After School‘s Kahi is “graduating” from the group.

After School debuted in 2009 with the concept that members would eventually “graduate” out of the group. Leader and member Kahi will become one of its graduates.

Kahi will participate in the group’s June 17th encore concert in Tokyo, and finish up remaining promotional activities in Japan, which end this September, before preparing as an official solo artist.

As After School’s Japanese tour concert will be her last as a group member, Kahi plans to hold special solo performances during the encore concert as a way to thank fans.

Kahi stated, “To all the After School fans who have given so much love and to my members who have cried, laughed, and suffered with me since we debuted, I thank you all so much.” It’s reported that she planning to prepare for her solo album and study acting. She added, “I’ll try my best so that you can see a new side of Kahi.”

Kahi was known as a female singer with excellent dancing skills even before she debuted with After School. She also recently stepped into the acting world on KBS‘s ‘Dream High 2‘.

After School will be releasing their 5th mini-album on June 21. New member Gaeun will also be making a debut with their comeback.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THIS IS TOO SUDDEN

iM sure confident she will. She's been wanting to go solo all her life.
Im just very worried for AS.
the thing with the graduation system is...if they graduate a member once she becomes popular...then the group will forever not have that lead boost..it just feels weird really..

edit: wonder if Pledis thinks that releasing news on a graduation before the comeback will back people actually want to buy the new single/mini album to treasure it as Kahi's last work

miroro 5th June 2012 02:14 PM

i'm really sad because AS without kahi will not be AS anymore ;A;
but i'm happy for her if it's her choice and i'll support her!

AyUta 5th June 2012 05:13 PM

^ I know :cry But thank goodness she wont be absent for good. Solo time!

AyuHamasaki01 5th June 2012 06:44 PM

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT KAHI!
(Why are my favorite members leaving?! :weep)

This feels like being punched in the face... I really can't imagine After School without Kahi. Wow, this feels so, unreal.

love in music 5th June 2012 10:44 PM

i'm not really too upset about it because i think she shines more on her own.. i liked her in her solo mini album more than i ever did as an AS member.

AyumiAi 6th June 2012 01:12 AM

THE END IS HERE!!! KAHI!!!

adantatu2 6th June 2012 03:21 AM

I love Kahi, she is probably one of the best and talented leaders.
After School without Kahi is really weird but we know the system, and we have to support her solo career and support After School. I'm going to miss Kahi a lot.

Without Kahi, i think Jungah could be the new leader

freedreamer 6th June 2012 05:27 AM

Pledis is being very weird. All there is is an official statement on AFTERSCHOOL's JAPANESE Facebook about Kahi's graduate and it says the 5th single will show a BRAND NEW AFTERSCHOOL. So she may not come back with them this June?!
I'll be really sad honestly...I hope to see her even for a final comeback with the team.

But...What is Pledis thinking really? I don't know why they havent come out and explained more and posted anything. They have so much confirmation to do and clarifications.

Part of me feels that it's because...Kahi will stop promoting in Japan? since her solo activities are in Korea, the audience will still see her and that's why? I don't know.

I wonder if Amuro Namie actually would strike her. Since Namie is success on her own and their about the same age, Kahi must feel, she wants to do something on her own. and remember the time when Kaeun was introduced at PLAYGIRLZ tour and Kahi was acting weird with Uee at the side. I wonder if that was a sign. Kahi feels that she doesnt have that responsibility to lead the group in Japan anymore since they have a better Japanese speaker and..I won’t say she wont be of use anymore. But she probably feels that, the group is in safer hands now. Hence she feels she could leave.

this touched me so much

“When I Get Married and have a child and when I turn on the TV, I still Want AFTER SCHOOL to be There” - Kahi
Regardless, true fans will stand by AFTER SCHOOL no matter what. PLAYGIRLZ AND PLAYBOYZ UNITE!

CoriKaru 6th June 2012 03:28 PM

Yes! Joo-yeon better put in an application for Group Leader. It's her turn.

AyuHamasaki01 6th June 2012 05:25 PM

I wouldn't be suprised if Jung Ah became the new leader...

I'm still sad that Kahi is leaving :( Like I said before, all my favorite members are leaving (first Bekah, now Kahi, at least Nana is still there!).
Guess I should go pick some new favorite members :laugh

freedreamer 6th June 2012 05:49 PM

I think Pledis has made me realized…After School is really fragile group. Not fragile in terms of skills but members. I want to treasure each of them much more than ever because I dont want to feel as though when they graduate, I havent seen enough. Each member is unique and special in this school. They all deserve the attention.

Kahi’s time was short but very memorable. She has left an impression. In 3 years to come, when Orange Caramel has been in AS for 6 years. Perhaps people won’t be so hard up about the Graduation system because they have served their time well.

Celaphorce 6th June 2012 06:03 PM

I agree on thinking Jung Ah possibly being leader now, so upsetting but given how Kahi's career has been and the struggles she's had I'm happy for her regardless of what happens, as long as After School can pull off peforming old songs and having someone fill in for Kahi's parts and make it fierce and their own then I have nothing to worry about, besides I still love all of the members in the lineup. I'm not a fan of After School for Kahi, I'm a fan for every member in their own ways, obviously Nana is probably my favorite but realistically the most evolved is Kahi. It's kinda sad cause after Kahi's first solo project I figured she would have been gone around then, just wish she could still participate or make "guest" appearances in some After School performances to come! I wish After School & Kahi the best!!

freedreamer 6th June 2012 06:07 PM

hahaha yea me too. Im not a fan just for Kahi. In fact I just love whoever that comes in though Uee really really took me a while because when she was added, I honestly got a shock. Gotten used to it though. and yea, I hope Kahi can still perform with AS once in a while. Maybe if they have a concert or soemthing, I hope she'll be there as their lead again. Now...an After School concert without Kahi is so weird. They havent had a tour in Korea and..its kinda sad actually..now that Kahi is leaving :(

Im sure Kahi will always be there for After School. Now that she isn't part of the group, she can be their mentor, be even stricter with them, be more critical and harsh and who says she can't be the brains of After School still.

AyuHamasaki01 6th June 2012 06:12 PM

I would love it if Kahi would still continue to think of concept for After School.

EDIT:

Not to change the subject (okay well, it's exactly that :laugh) but what is your Top 3 most played After School songs? (I was just going through my iPod via iTunes and suddenly I wondered this :laugh). Mine is:

1. Bang! - 1670 plays
2. AH - 1323 plays
3. Let's Do It! - 1189 plays

freedreamer 7th June 2012 04:20 AM

How do u get 1000 listens omgosh.

Shampoo is my all-time highest played SONG on iTunes
Because of You is next, then
Bang!

Aspen 7th June 2012 08:18 AM

First would be Bang! (well, a rexrowdee mix), then Virgin and then probably Because of You (another mix).

bondingo 7th June 2012 03:27 PM

I'm already pretty meh about them lately, but if anyone besides Jungah becomes the new leader I'm totally out.

:laugh I have no idea.
Last year iTunes erased all songs on my iPod (I dunno how) and when I added the songs again on my iPod, suddenly I had much more plays, it's so weird.

EDIT:

After School's Kahi to begin solo activities in September

It has been recently revealed that After School‘s leader and member Kahi will be graduating from the group and will debut back into the music scene as a solo artist. Now, it seems we have a timeline of when her solo activities will begin.

Pledis Entertainment revealed, Kahi will finish her group activities with After School by September and begin working on her solo activities. The new student, Ga Eun, will take the place as the fifth new recruitment member in the place of Kahi.

Kahi stated, ”I will show everyone a new side of myself by studying acting and adopting a beginner’s attitude while working on my solo album“.

So that means she's still gonna be there when they release the new mini album on June 21st? (and yes fyafterschool reported it was gonna be a mini album )

miroro 8th June 2012 05:17 PM
