Both KinKi Kids & Kanjani8 are having their own separate countdown at different places outside of Tokyo & in recent times , even SMAP & TOKIO don't really participate in them as frequent as before
It frankly didn't really surprise me there might/will not be any Johnny's Countdown cos if so , this would have been announced way back in Aug if not last month Now is already mid Oct , it seems very late & you cannot expect ARASHI to perform live via satellite which they've done so for the past 2 years isn't it ? :shrug |

MatsuJun's We wanna funk, we need a funk Uh seriously WTH at his solo song title o_O but at least his solo is tolerable as by right MatsuJun's the weakest singer in the group Ohno's two Really like it *__* Ohno doesn't really disappoint as in general his solos are great Aiba's Rakuen Very different from Aiba's usual solo style but this's not bad really Nino's Sore wa Yappari Kimideshita :luv2 Ok wow I think outta the 5 Popcorn solos , Nino's my fave . It sounds like something left behind from Beautiful World's Doko ni Demo Aru Uta. which's super awesome >3< Also it helps that he wrote it & co-composed it too , damn , home run for you Nino xD Sakurai's Fly on Friday Haha this sounds like something that can be used in the World Cup or something -_- Not really my fave but it's quite decent :O The Popcorn album tracks on the other hand are really solid & top notch from what I have listened yesterday til now Can't wait to get my copy in mid Nov *__* |

Ninomiya Kazunari: an art piece of 1.3 million Pocky
On October 31st, Arashi’s Ninomiya Kazunari (29) attended a Guinness World Records Challenge Event held by “Pocky” (Ezaki Glico Co., Ltd.). Pocky created a mosaic art based on their CM model character played by Ninomiya, “Devil Nino”. They entered the Guiness book by using 1,307,208 pocky. In order to achieve this, a total of 240 people worked during 48 hours. When the 50.92 square meters mosaic art was unveiled, Ninomiya expressed full of joy; “Amazing!”, “I’m really glad I became an entertainer, I’m deeply touched”. Ninomiya also participated as representative of the brand and received the Guinness certificate on stage. Deeply grateful he said, “This was prepared by a lot of people, so I want to thank all of them”. Among the agency, KinKi Kids and President Johnny Kitagawa are the only Guinness World Record holders. Though Ninomiya’s award is not a direct certification, for Guinness association, he is considered as the 3rd member of the agency to be awarded. To this, Nino dedicated a message to Johnny-san, “Finally! You can say we are side by side” he said with a smug face causing laugh among the audience. speaking of the album, i've listened to "Popcorn", and overall, it's such a great album! but as always, i'm a bit biased since it's arashi, so...:laugh but seriously, it's such a good album! i liked all the singles that were on it, so i'm not surprised that i liked the album tracks, as well. :) even though i like all the album tracks, i think my most favorite songs are "Welcome to our party", "Waiting for you", and "Cosmos". "Cosmos" is probably the best album track of the whole album. i think it's absolutely amazing! :love i've also enjoyed all the solo songs (especially matsujun's :heart it's such a fun song & it's totally matsujun, lol :P) ohno's solo is a beautiful song, as well. and sho's solo is awesome & i also think it's a song that's totally sho. :D |
After listening to Popcorn for the last few days , I feel that it's much better than what I expected
My fave group track has to be Waiting for you . Something about that song's just wow . I've already heard Welcome to our party before that since I heard a long snippet of it that Aiba played on his radio show Solos wise , much more better than I thought as well . Even MatsuJun's solo is tolerable despite the wth title with it being subtle vulgar ~_~ Aiba's solo surprised me , it's much different from what he usually does & Sakurai's oddly sound like something straight from the World Cup lmao Ohno's solo is awesome but Nino's solo is probably the best outta the lot in Popcorn Towards the tail end of Popcorn , it gets a little bit weak from Sakurai's Fly on Friday onwards but overall really solid effort & doesn't surprise me that Popcorn will overtake the 1st week sales of Beautiful World really soon |

overall music quality for Popcorn is better , singles are much more stronger if not less boring (hello Face Down) & their solos are probably their best lot of solos they've did in a really long time wouldn't also surprise me if RIAJ will certify Popcorn a Million certification too |

‘Platinum Data’ movie adaptation reveals supporting cast
On November 8, the supporting cast of the upcoming movie adaptation of Higashino Keigo’s novel ‘Platinum Data‘ was revealed. ‘Platinum Data’, starring Arashi’s Ninomiya Kazunari and actor Toyokawa Etsushi, is set in 2017 and tells the story of a young brilliant scientist named Kagura Ryuhei (Ninomiya), who works as a DNA specialist for the National Police Agency in the newly created underwater DNA data center. One day, he suddenly becomes the prime suspect in the murder case of the person who developed the new DNA investigation system. Having no memory of what actually happened, Kagura decides to run away from the police and the detective in charge (Toyokawa). The movie is directed by Otomo Keishi (‘Rurouni Kenshin’, ‘Ryoma-den’) and its screenplay is written by Hamada Shuya (‘Zettai Reido’). The four new additions to the cast are Suzuki Honami, Namase Katsuhisa, Anne, and Mizuhara Kiko. Suzuki plays an authoritative genetic scientist, while Namase plays the head of the research facility. Anne and Mizuhara complete the team as an analyst and a brilliant mathematician, respectively. The producer of the movie commented, “On top of driving the protagonist into a corner, we also wanted to make sure that we have uniquely fascinating characters with an extraordinary presence.” He continued, “Whether movies, dramas, plays, or modeling, they are each on the top of their métier, and they’re great actors who are usually picked for starring roles. i've watched the FNS & Best Artist performances and they were just absolutely amazing! the boys looked so good in both performances! :luv2 i mean, they always look amazing, lol, but the outfits they wore when they performed "Face Down" at FNS.....:heart it was such a good performance! :D

I'm usually very critical of ARASHI's 'live' performances as by right they don't sing live in such live telecast concerts but I have to say , their performance of Wild At Heart + Face Down at yesterday's Kohaku was fantastic
I thought what they did for Face Down in MUSIC STATION was great but Kohaku wise , they raised the entertainment bar in more levels than I ever thought Anyway today MATCHY-san appeared in Arashi ni Shiyagare SP which I'm very sure the episode was downright epic ~_~ And on 19th Jan , TOKIO's Nagase is scheduled to appear on the show ahahaha Last but not least , ARASHI has been confirmed they will be the main personality 24hrTV for 2013 This year's 24hrTV theme is "ニッポンって…？この国のかたち" (What is Japan? The shape of this country") |
arashi's performance at Kouhaku was amazing! the songs that they performed were just perfect. "Face Down" is just such an awesome song to perform, and arashi performed it so well! the dancing was really good, too. the boys all looked really nice, as well. :heart
