Totally forgot about her. I liked a few of her songs. LOL, Shock, One more drama, wired life. I wonder if she just gave up on music.

I think she gave up and is focusing purely on movies/dramas. She hasn't released anything at all ever since the marriage. It's so unfortunate too because UNLOCKED was a really fun album, and Wired Life was one of the best songs ever.

She doesn't have the best vocals ever but her music is amazing to work out to. Her second album is way better than the first one though.

I liked Meisa Kuroki for her music. She may not be an outstanding vocalist and I have no troubles admitting that, but for me her voice was just fine and not irritating like other Japanese artists/bands I have come across with good music but an annoying singer who turns me off completely. I guess the credit all goes to whoever Meisa's producers were who gave Meisa's style of music this, shall I say, unique drop of urban sound in pop music. The style is exactly why I liked her music. Such a shame that it's seemingly very unlikely Meisa will come out with new music
Meisa's acting career I am indifferent towards because I don't really watch Japanese TV/movies. Not because I necessarily loathe it, but the inaccessibility of it for an English speaker turns me off. Maybe if someone gives me a good movie or drama Meisa starred in to watch in HD and English subs then I'll watch it, but the only thing I was interested in watching what she was in (Shiawase ni Narou Yo) I could only find in low quality |

You know, I've (finally) had a good listen to "UNLOCKED" and it made me realize how awesome it would be, if Meisa were to return to music! I've also come to appreciate the songs "Hit The Road", "Shake It Off" & PARADE" so much - they're such amazing songs. :heart *sigh* I truly do hope Meisa will sing again, someday! |

Man I really wish Kuroki would go back to release music , same thing with Kuriyama Chiaki but this's only a sideline thing they do as 1st and foremost they're actresses/models . Then again I can always keep hoping |

Yeah Kuroki is not the best singer but she made up for that with some really slick sounding songs , fun entertaining PVs & great packaging for her releases
She's 1st & foremost known as an actress/model and singing is only something she does on the sideline . I hope she can consider to release something new music again in the near future |

Akanishi Theia is the first child of power couple Akanishi Jin & Kuroki Meisa. She is already six years old! Similar to many couples Akanishi and Kuroki play a large role in the education of their children, and want the absolute best for them. It has been revealed that Theia has been attending “The American School in Japan“, at their Roppongi campus. Abbreviated as ASIJ, the private day school is for students beginning in Kindergarten all the way to grade 12. Founded in 1902, it was created by a group of women who recognised the growing need for a school among the growing foreign population. All students are instructed in English, and it follows the typical “American-style” curriculum. A large portion of the student body consists of international students, while the rest are Japanese students who speak English. Been getting Meisa's CDs lately. It has been a pain in the ass because some of them are out of stock and the others take 3-4 weeks from the supplier to stock the CD.
Got "Wired Life", "Woman's Worth" and "One More Drama". Planning to get "SHOCK" as my last CD single from her. Even her remixes are good it's such a pity her music ended so soon. |

Assuming this's true , I think this's something Akanishi & Kuroki wants to keep private about it cos it involves their family and their kids are not in showbiz which wouldn't be fair to them |
