I think Koda has been outselling Ayumi since 2009. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) Although, not by much.

^ it's since 2005 with Best ~first things~ since now . except love songs which it's outsold Dejavu

^Don't forget FIVE which matched and went a bit over Dejavu's sales

Well... not wanting to sound like the biased fan filled with hope... But comparing PQ debut to most debuts this week, it's easy to notice she is far from doing bad to nowaday standarts...

Yea its not that she's not doing great in todays business it's just that she's doing less amazing than she used to :P

Well if we compare the total of two-weeks sales for both Party Queen and JAPONESQUE , JAPONESQUE is ahead with 4k ,however it doesn't prove anything , Maybe PQ will have a long chart life , we don't know .

we may know this week or week after if we see that her sales drop worse than JAPONESQUE did , but seriously even if JAPONESQUE outsold PQ it's really not that big deal or such a shame for Ayu , Kuu is not that small in jpop afterall , and 1k or even 10-20k doesn't make that O M G difference , both of them are in the same boat , their sales are close with 0 promotion maybe minus :roflmao

but I'm okay with these sales , no offense but seriously I'm not expecting much from people who buys random groups CDs like Sexy Zone who haven't finished their multiplication test yet :laugh

Oh really? Is this the reason for the difference of the sales reports from Avex, which are usually higher than those recorded by ORICON? I was wondering how that came about.

^ that could be it too. But avex goes by how many copies they have shipped out.
it really does have anything to do with what has been sold.

I think Ayu will sell about 8000 copies this week.

Sales can't be that great this week, the first three were pretty low all days. Hm.

I think Party Queen is actually doing pretty well given the lack of promotion up until now. I think it's because promotion technically started after the release is the reason that we're continuing to see it remain in the charts. But even now they could be doing so much better than they currently are. I hope Ayu kicks the staffs' asses into shape in time for her next release.

But I really love this album, so I'm glad to see it staying in the charts. :heart

I think it can hover in the top 20 within the next few weeks since album competition wise , there's not that many strong competitors from what I've seen at my end

Although KinKi Kids's Domoto Tsuyoshi's 1st new album in 3 years is released today ie. shamanippon -Rakachinotohi- , Johnny's has never been strong album sellers so x)

Still that's just one new release...there'll be plenty more to come. Hopefully the album won't drop by half this week.

hopefully Party Queen will be able to hover in the top 20 for the whole of April ? it sounds far fetched but there're not many that hot album releases that're releasing in April & May

she should have a pretty good chance in this . The tour has been helping Party Queen's sales to stay afloat pretty nicely too
