It does mix them up though - it's got all of Uncontrolled in there. :) I for one though am glad that most of the songs between Style and Uncontrolled were excluded though, simply because they have been performed so many times. A lot of long time Namie fans have been wishing and praying for her to perform her pre-Style hits again. :luv2

ughhh that video of her talking got me thinking of how i find it hard to pinpoint just what her "it factor" is. she seems so well composed and sort of poker face-y, but she definitely shows emotion--i just can't put my finger on it XD it drives me crazy.

YES! I think about that cheer a lot when Namie comes to mind (I'm weird lol). Because I've never heard of a reaction like that for other artists. I think it's because Namie is usually so composed, and even the way she performs has this very professional, detached execution. That isn't to say it doesn't leave its impact, but it's not as emotionally intense as Ayu's operatic lives, or Kuu's ****ing awesome party lives lol. Namie's lives is kind of like watching an art performance? idk how to describe it, but when she breaks out of that professional mode and shows an emotion like a smile or a tear, it just reminds people that even though she keeps herself pretty guarded and in control, she still gets emotional about it all.

idk I know this sounds really dramatic and stupid, but I just honestly have never encountered a performer like Namie before. It's easy to mistake her composure for apathy or detachment, but it's not. It's this sort of really intense focus that kind of takes you aback.

Another new bit of info: The televised version of the concert on 12/23 is going to be taken from the Osaka dates on 12/1 and 12/2! I'm sure the DVD/Blu Ray of the concert will be the Tokyo Dome dates, so that means we should get 2 full concerts released.:)

is true thought, so many people say that she doesn't care or blah blah because she's not like so emotional.
but is namie so I'm used to it.
I love it when she dances and has that serious/concentrating face.

Namie's serious/dead face can save lives.

It's not that Namie is not emotional or doesn't care, she's just very introverted. Introverted people usually show little facial expression and they might not even be aware of it. However, what they actually feel inside is a different story from what they usually show.

It always comes back to this topic in Namie threads. Who cares what her face looks like when she dances! She apparently did something right at some point.

i really like namie amuro's cool expression when she sings and dances, she's just so awesome like that. it's definitely Namie's style~

Interesting fact that Japanese & Taiwanese media reports about Namie's latest DOMES TOUR:

Performing the total of 30 songs in 2.5 hours, all she said was 2 sentences:
"Thank you for coming today!" & "Please come back to play next time!" lol

And these 2 have now become her signature senteneces, since she also said the same exact 2 lines on her previous tours without any MC! LOL

I gotta ask...what's the brand of her boots? :laugh She should be their spokesmodel forever!

Damage sounds like something from a Shin Megami Tensei game. That isn't to say it's bad, it's just unusual for Namie. I don't really bother with her PVs because it's either her walking around looking mournful and thoughtful at things or it's her dancing and being badass -- which I get enough of on her tours lol.
