She has delivered new material for the past 2 months and it's not easy to pull off completely new album in such a short time :/ And there ARE new songs + really great ones we were given on past releases. I am happy for the new album.
About twitter...it's christmas how can people be so rude and wish her badly (not to mention death...). I've tweeted her best wishes for new year.

Unfortunately this is show biz and that's why she's getting paid. " if ayu can't take the heat, than she should get out of the kitchen" I know my comment sounds rude but ayu makes music for the listeners and insults, mistreatment, criticism, sarcasm and stockers comes a long with the package.

I think that the problem people are experiencing is not the content itself, but the way it was released. When it comes to Ayu's creative work, I have nothing to say, because even if I don't like it, she put her effort into the song and it likely has some meaning to her.

But, the way avex decided to handle this release, yes, they should be listening to fans. Because they are the ones who are going to buy it. If calling those minis "singles" is what makes fans happy, then a good business should adapt to what customers want. That's the way a business works. They have to do everything within their power (and the law) to make a customer happy. I'm sure its not set in stone that LOVE and again had to be minis.

Korean drama still blows any of this baby stuff out of the water.

I agree with you 100%. I don't care how mad people are about the way she decided to release the mini-albums and the album, it doesn't warrant comments wishing for her to die. At the end of the day, it's just a material object that is not a need and whoever that person is, is wishing for her to be dead, which is something that is permanent. That's disgusting and nothing to joke about. Whoever made that comment as well as the unneccesarily rude comments that went too far need to get a grip. Let's be real here, the majority of her sales and revenue in all aspects (concerts, goods, DVDs, etc.) come from her Japanese fanbase in Japan. And if they are saying that they are going to purchase the album, that's probably what's most important to them anyways because international purchases count for a small percentage of her sales overall. If I were Ayu, I wouldn't respond to those types of comments either and I hope she doesn't take them to heart. Whatever responses that you were all hoping to get from her, even if they were reasonable, were probably blown away by idiots like that.

yeah i know that, the problem here is the way they handled the information. Not that people don't like the stuff she'ss been releasing till now.
And it's true at this point since people who listen to her music are the ones that buy her stuff, they should be the main voice to listen to at these kind of times, because Avex surelly ****ed that up really nicelly. I don't think they would be getting away with that in a western world. If she was someone like Madonna or something i have a feeling this would have blossomed into a huge scandal and media would eat her up as well as her label, probably mostly her label.

what kinda makes me angry tho is that fans are sending her nasty tweets involving Maro. I mean that dude or Ayu's relationship with him has nothing to do with this mess now, whatsoever. People are so quick to tweet her horrible things it's increadible!

That's just horrible for people to say such awful hurtful things in those tweets. No matter how angry you are about something, stay classy and don't wish death on people. I've heard people say that so much (the words "kill yourself"), honestly the most hurtful and disrespectful thing you could say to someone. Sure Ayu made a little oops with marketing LOVE and again as mini albums in connection with Love again, but she doesn't deserve that hurtfulness from people.

The problem is that , the way ayu presented herself at the beginning of her career and the lyrics she wrote constanly ex "I'm strong when I have so thing to protect and blah blah blah" convinced us all in to believeing that ayu was a different person. But, now her true personally is coming out and everyone feels lied to and Angry. The insults were wrong but, I don't blame them for being mad!! :woohoo::woohoo:

everyone feels lied because they don't know her for real, none of us do, and it's kind of unfair to say you feel like she lied to us, people just had the fantasy they believed in, not the actual image of the actual person, i'd say it's their own problem, they didn't realized that the fantasy might be over anytime. They still think of the lost girl who didn't know anything about the actual world from 10 years ago. That one is long gone. She's now matured and maybe got more comfortable about sharing more of her personal life with fans. People are angry because they are stuck in those times and can't get over that, as i said a gazzilion of times before, it's a gift to grow up as a person with your favorite artist, when both of you are at the same pace. It's amazing. But not everyone experiences that, some of the fans get stuck but the artist moves on. The changes didn't happen over night, it took years and years for her to become who she is now. Humans do grow mentally and sertain things throughout the years do change the way of seeing things. She still is sharing waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy less than anay western celebrity does these days....

So i really cannot understand why people are mad.

I don't understand why Ayu doesn't have concerts overseas, especially the US. There's a lot of western fans. Most anime fans know her and she's certainly the most popular JPOP singer in the US. Even my classmates in High School know her and they're mostly White and Latino. (Mostly due to the internet and anime.)

I wish they would realize she has a market here and at least do some low budget concert! She can easily fill 5000 seats.

I don't really see Avex getting Ayu overseas for gigs, it's just not worth it, when they can fill up 30000 people alenas in Japan/Asia, to go for 1000-3000 overseas (EU, USA) is really no point, especially with the concerts Ayu usually does. Plus seeing how AMAZINGLY they are promoting her, i deffinitelly don't see Avex paying for an overseas tour :innocent

Well, it is her product so of course she will want to watch it. When you are an artist, seeing your finished product and that feeling of being proud and "Yeah, I did this!" is really such a great feeling. I'm that way with everything I do. It's like "yeah, all my hard work was truly worth it."

Like for example "He stood proud over the corpse of his enemy" < - the guy is feeling proud
Or "He stood proudly over the corpse of his enemy" < - the guy is standing in a proud manner..maybe with his hands on his waist and his head high~

I think if its in a sentence it sounds better as proudly, but just saying walking proud is just as good.
