I actually think the verses and the chorus connect really well, much better than I imagined with the previews, lol.
What I think is strange are the two "pauses" in between - the long note at the beginning and then only the back melody playing without happening much after the first chorus. Breaks the flow of the song for me a bit. But other than that I love the song! Definitely something very interesting! |

A short review of a foreign guy who attended BSC tour
Shhh! Just came back from one of the best lives of my life. #bestsinglecollection is exactly what it's name says, #kodakumi gathered a some of her best singles and give us the best performance. It was unbelievable her energy doing all the classic choreographies for songs like Crazy For You, BUT, Butterfly, Lollipop, Ningyo Hime, Freaky etc. Even though she just got recovered from a cold, and we could see she was struggling with her voice in a few moments, that only makes the performance even more special, cause we could be sure she was singing live (and to be true, she struggling was still waaaaaay better then Ayumi or Namie live). Her dancing also was over the top (also better than Namie). This is the kind of #concert appealing to #nostalgic feelings. Another great thing is that she just released her new single with special jackets for the tour, that you can't buy anywhere else. Of course I had to get my copy! Already addicted to #Shhh! Hey everyone, I was at the first show on April 9th and I have to say that it was absolutely amazing! It was my first time seeing Kuu live and she slayed! From start to finish it was nonstop energy! Her vocals sounded really good, especially considering that she was still recovering from being sick, and her dancing was on point! I post a short review in a spoiler.

It sounds amazing - aerial performance again and you made me also really excited for CWGB again after Dream Music Park/UNIVERSE Tour! And what a charming idea to invite two fans to tea and cake on the stage. :laugh I'd love so much to go again - but Kuu is always worth to attend. Those lyrics are so messy, I can't believe it's really Koda Kumi who wrote those. She used to write so good lyrics for her songs but these days I'm more confused about them than amazed. Ballads are an exception, to those she still writes good and meaningful lyrics but these catchy ones makes me often go "wtf? o.O".
And good that she's still dominating the chart even though it's not Oricon. :D And what are those other 3 Kuu things on the chart? o.O Also, could someone please upload Shhh! to mediafire or something because MEGA is still off limits to me? :) |

I'll probably get used to her messy lyrics one day, but it's gonna take a while because for me lyrics are the most important, and this new weird trend in Kuu's songs just ruins those lyrics for me. I hope she'll get over it soon and goes back to the old writing style because that one was great. :D
Also, I solved my Mega problem by just reinstalling Firefox on my laptop and downloaded Shhh! using that so I don't really need help with it anymore. :D |
Lyrics can't destroy a song for me, unless they're talking others down or doing something else I don't feel comfortable with or don't agree with. Music and vocals always come first.
Kuu could also sing in her own language and I wouldn't mind that much in the end if I like the song. :laugh I'm fine as long as I can get the guts of it, in Shhh!'s case it's probably supposed to be a flirty and powerful woman kind of song, her get to go theme. Themes and atmosphere are more important to me, I guess. Though I would be nice, if she kept English smaller like in most of her older upbeat songs. It feels more like her and she can be more direct with what she wants to say. In recent fast songs it's a hit and miss with her incorporating English. That's a point I do think is a pity. |

Shinitakashi's does indeed make more sense than the other one we had. Now it doesn't seem too messy anymore. But I still do miss her old lyric writing style. It had more depth in it. :D

Ready for Kuu's summer single this year to be a fanclub/venue/MU-MO only single with no PVs and then a fan club only studio album next year with no PVs.
The whole "limited release" thing is working well for Shhh! #1 on MU-MO overall for over three days now. With total sales of the mu-mo + venue editions the single should probably end up outselling HOTEL in the long run. (although we won't ever know for sure) |

4 hot wave is my most special Kuu single. Though I wasn't a super fan at the time, it was her latest release when I was in Japan. I ended up buying it, and it's one of my most treasured possessions :D

It would be amazing if she did a 4aside single to commemorate her 60th single like she did with 4TIMES (her 50th) but I won't get my hopes up... even though I believe she will release at least another physical single this year.
She can't reach the 60th single mark with a digital or limited fc single without even a PV. That would be too basic and lame. lol And the new album is probably due to the beginning of next year like usual. |

Honestly , I'm not very motivated to buy them . I was tempted to buy the fanclub editions of HOTEL & Dance In The Rain as that time when both were released , I was unsure if the fanclub exclusive material will be included in WALK OF MY LIFE but luckily in the end I didn't buy them :laugh But yeah the idea could have been more better executed and switching the tracklist wouldn't hurt to get more value from what you pay , like putting in the CD studio versions of Cupcake and/or BRING IT ON It's like for the sake of getting the other 3 editions of Shhh! that can't be purchased online , you have to go to the KODA KUMI LIVE TOUR 2016 ~Best Single Collection~ concert venues to do so :x Also I'm not sure how mean avex is but for other artistes , only if you have the concert tickets then you're allowed to buy but somehow I doubt so |

These shirts are not for sale as far as we know, at least not yet. If you take a closer look, it's two shirts already (the upper one is Colour Of Soul and the latter one is Take Back ;) ).
My guess is that these shirts (and probably with the other singles as well) will come with later goods. This tour has a 4 seasons theme for the goods, so we're getting three updates with new time limited tour goods till November. The tour is a hall tour. She did say she wants to alternate between halls and arenas and last year was an arena tour. |
If they release those tees, I'll surely buy me one or two, depending on which songs they feature! The design is very simple but pretty :yes
