Okay I've only watched the digest video and not the full thing - but she sounds vocally AMAZING in the TA tour!

It sounded good but at the same time I could feel that same smoothing filter they have been using on her live releases for years which makes her sound extremely processed and as if I can't fully feel the emotions in her heart. It gives a robotic, more "idol"-esque feeling to her shows. Also, I find it ironic she is hawking this "natural" self concept and her messages in music for years have been about stripping away the glammed-up manufactured identity of hers yet she still wears those unGodly contacts which are anything but natural. She looks like a monster when she wears those! Her natural eyes are the most beautiful in the entire world, it's a pity she wears those gawdy things.

^ i can't disagree about that, but at the same time, a vocal performance that can make the worthless song that is Sorrows sound good is something that I have to give credit to lol.

Listening to MIJ in its properly mastered CD version instead of those LQ web rips is SUCH a treat. FLOWERS was already great before but being able to hear the layering now takes it to a whole new level.

MADE IN JAPAN in HQ is so much better

Seeing as it didnt really affect the sales maybe more artists will do this now to build hype and to maybe make the streaming service more popular and known. Let's hope it keeps doing ok during the week. I hope her sales have plateaued seeing as since colours she pretty much had the same sales

ayu's physical releases are mostly purchased by her fans, so this shouldn't be a surprise.

I would say any releases are purchosed by fans of the artists. Physical copies are for collectors and people looking for music in HQ. People who listening only at their smartphones/tablets/laptops don't really bother to buy physical releases because they'd finish ripped and uploaded to the cloud anyway.

I was skeptic about streaming release before physical but it's possible this way of promoting it's that bad. I guess some people could give it a listening on AVA and if they liked it they may buy a copy now.

I'm curious though how the anime/music/game cd will continue its sales. The gap is very small (at the moment) so it's not impossible for her to outsell it. Tomorrow's sales should give more insight haha.

Amazing, so glad that "voice" is back! Am I right in saying he's not been on her album CMs for a while? Makes me so nostalgic for the time I spent watching the Complete Clip Box.

Almost tempted to "spoil" myself and watch the CM.

Gotta admit, I'm not the biggest fan when photos are recycled as I like to feel that the booklet photos are shot with the album in mind and that it doesn't look like they're using a totally unrelated magazine shoot for the album.

Saying that the photos for the ISM campaign are nice, it just feels a little cheap that ISM get Ayu to do a shoot especially for them, but hey!

Ripping and sharing an entire concert takes considerably longer time than sharing MVs, and not as many people got that version to be able to share it...

I'm fairly certain the TA version with TA tour was ripped just as fast as the CD, hence that digest we got. However, I don't think we'll get a full version for a good bit. Seems AHS has a bad reputation with the Chinese fans.

There are tons of TA tour videos on Twitter and Instagram. I know it's not a full show of course, but a lot of material to watch for those who can't wait.
It's auto-tuned as hell again, painful to listen to. Scary contact lenses don't help either.
Other than that she looks good and montage seems to be really nice.
If they use the same software and settings for pitch correction again, we'll have vocaloid sounding Ayu in AT 2016 broadcast too I'm afraid.
