Honestly , I think Yamapi should have not made PVs for You Make Me & Right moves . The songs are ok but I feel other album tracks in UNLEASHED are better/stronger

I love AI & LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME :luv2 . Dancer & With you are the closest I consider as ballads

Also , UnleAsHed is more like a long album instrumental so I don't count that as an album track

I didn't expect my other friend went to see Yamapi 3 times at Yokohama Arena from last Fri to over the weekend o_O

My friend wasn't able to get tickets to see him at the last performance as Yamapi performed 2 times yesterday

Looks like he's stepping up his live vocal game. The 2 year break did him good. He can actually sing well live now. I was impressed during his guest appearance with Namie, and now this is pretty good as well.

Reason / Never Lose will be Yamapi's 1st new single release in almost 6 years & quite surprisingly , his 1st double A-side solo single :O

10th album WORLDISTA will be released on 20th Feb

WORLDISTA is a sequel to last year's EPCOTIA & 2017's NEVER LAND and this time round it will have a virtual experience theme

The new album will include singles BLUE & [Ikiro] alongside with SPIRIT , Strawberry (originally only included in the special 15th anniversary box set of [Ikiro] )

The DVD footages of WORLDISTA includes WORLDISTA Ver.10 while the CD only version will include bonus tracks (probably solo songs again)

Capitalizing titles of some songs aren't uncommon in Japan...

Not that I know of any particular reason why so . Yamapi didn't mention about it during the 2 CDTV Artist File episodes and also during Buzz Rhythm 02 , Love music & The Covers

Yamapi was only asked about the reason on why UNLEASHED was quite heavily English language driven

Also on a side note , it's a bit of a shame that the same photos were included in both CD + DVDs booklets of UNLEASHED , Sony could have included different photos of Yamapi to make things slightly better

Not exactly related to UNLEASHED but what the translated interview talks about explains why in recent years Yamapi chose to sharpen his English usage skills

Yamapi for years has been influenced by Western culture , partially cos of his BFF but back then his English pronunciation was quite poor especially way back when he released SUPERGOOD, SUPERBAD

Listening to UNLEASHED made me sense just how much Yamapi's English pronunciation has improved tremendously over the years . At least what Yamapi sings/said , I can understand instead of some weird random rambling & to a certain extent , the English lyrics of some songs does make sense despite the occasional questionable moment

For Yamapi to host Otona no Kiss Eigo , that also no doubt has helped him a great deal

You can check out his 1st mini dance album Asobi , it's almost like a prelude to what UNLEASHED offers

All the songs in Asobi EP are all dance but yet they're all really great and I don't really like dance songs to begin with

Yamapi's other studio albums were equally good & versatile . YOU is quite radio friendly but the others like Ero & A NUDE are less mainstream but still worth listening to

Debut album SUPERGOOD , SUPERBAD has 2 discs kinda like Kuu's W FACE . SUPERGOOD has radio friendly safe songs while SUPERBAD is a lot more westernised

Frankly out of all the Johnnys that left groups to pursue solo careers , Yamapi is the only 1 that I still follow back when he 1st released Daite Senorita in 2006 until now

Yamapi's English pronounciation really has improved greatly over the years & after what I heard him said in the beginning and end of Like A Movie using English , that's more than enough proof

Not sure where Like A Movie PV was filmed but the sceneries are very pretty , most probably in USA

I don't know what to think about Like A Movie for now song wise , same thing goes with the other songs in the new single too

I gave a 1st listen of WORLDISTA yesterday

So far I think out of the 3 back to back albums since NEVER LAND , WORLDISTA looks set to be my least favourite

I feel the album tracks don't match up to what the new album is set to , theme wise which's a shame as I really love the covers & concept of WORLDISTA

The last part of WORLDISTA was nice but sound quite out of place especially Santa no Inai Christmas which could have been a great potential Winter single release

I no doubt need to listen to WORLDISTA more but right now , I think NEVER LAND is still tops

The solo poster designs are quite cool , I like the duality theme incorporated in them

And same as before the penlight designs of Johnnys' tours are great & WORLDISTA's no exception

I like a lot of the goods. There are so many good photos for this tour's goods. The photo sets and the clear files have nice pictures of all of them.:luv2

Yeah I agree & usually Johnnys pamphlets tend to be the most worth to get as it's almost twice as cheap as compared to the cost of other artistes' pamphlets

Then again in a way I shouldn't compare cos Johnnys fanbases are big so there will be demand to buy which J&A are able to keep the cost low to a certain extent

For me this time round , I like the poster designs , calendar & penlight . My sister was lamenting how ugly the parka looked and it didn't helped it's hot pink in colour :dead2
