Marketing wise this wasn't a bad decision to promote more songs with Gossip Candy and Hey baby! as extra singles. Spectators only knew the TV size of the song anyway, so basically Dejavu had something like a longer album version of the song (something Perfume e.g. often does for their single songs with tie-ins).

Kuu has completely finished DNA now.
She says it was a long way and there was the problem of too many songs (genres) to choose from. There are a lot of different songs on the album and it is her most genreless album so far. She wants everybody to get the final result fastly.

I guess, she means that here in the sense, that she did so many songs/genres and still wants to do others in her career and that's who she is, what she likes, so it was hard to come up with it and narrow it down. 推し曲 means "proposed songs", but also has the notion of "favourite songs".

Love the new goods as well. I'm the opposite, I'm very happy that the shirt is black. I don't like bright and flashy colours so I'm glad that most of her goods are usually black. I do like black as well, but that's the usual colour for most (tour) stuff. So I love it, when we have some colour.
In fact, that's what I love with Kuu, cause she's regularly having coloured goods. In the past, we always had the black FC shirt and a coloured theme shirt for every tour.

About spotify count, How does it work? Because there are many Ai no Uta's Uploads from different albuns (single ai no uta, kingdom, best third universe, even the setlist with studio versions to W face tour)

So they put together all these versions and count them or each one has different counts???

Yes, as long as it's the same song, they all count together. There are some exceptions, like songs that has some differences: for example LIT, which the single is different from the album (just the random noise at the end), so they count as two separate songs.

Wow, Ai no uta was already huge but now it's even bigger. Wonder if it was added to some playlists or just more japanese people starting to use Spotify. Thanks for the update, Kaled!

Most of those songs were performed recently, and even tho it seems pointless putting those studio version setlists, it actually helps a lot. BUT is actually the 3rd most played song from Kingdom, with Ai no Uta and anytime getting more streams.

Spotify isn't popular at all in Japan (news reported it has only about 200k Japanese users).
So those numbers are probably highly influenced by non-Japanese listeners. TABOO is a popular song among fans here.
And Ai no Uta is charting everyday with only between 4-5k plays a day (the highest streaming songs on the Japanese Sporify charts have between 20-25k streams a day). It just seems to be a song a bunch of her fans agree to love and listen to everyday. :laugh

So, she has at least three new sounds for her on the album.
HOT HOT is Latin Pop, Guess Who Is Back is Anison Rock and Work That sounds like House. The rest is quite typical for her, but this was to be expected from the DNA theme and I think this is going to be a good mix.
It definitely fits the concept and how she described it.

I for sure expected a song like 心からi love u, it's her typical midtempo sound.
会えなくなるくらいなら has some really nice vocals going on and has the potential to evolve into something epic.
ScREaM is surprising for me with that (potential) I scream = Icecream wordplay and the cutesy chorus and bridge. But it's another favourite of mine.

HOT HOT sounds soooo good! Work That as well :) The ballads are nice, but I need the whole thing to judge if I'll like them or they'll turn out to be boring to me. ScREaM is good but something sounds off? The other are okay, can't judge much then now but all this may turn out to be a great album! :heart

I saw promotion for AND at two places in Asakusa: The Lawson across the street had a flyer for the tour and the traditional Japanese mall had a flyer for the album between their handmade goods lol.

I was getting happy about a-nation next week, but looking around I saw that the show isn't gonna be broadcast live, only the august dates...

To the ppl here who are in the FC, is or worth for a casual fan? I listen to Kumi alot at the beginning og her carrer, then lost my interest but latley got into her again.
So what has the international FC to offer beside ordering FC Version of CDs and getting Tickets?

I've been a member of both FCs and honestly there's not much else for the international one. I've complained about this once before (lol) but I was disappointed giving up my domestic membership. Sure the international gets updates but not as often and not as much. They don't always have the same content, most recent example the DNA previews weren't uploaded like they were with domestic Koda gumi. I also don't like that they don't send out news emails to the international FC.

If your priority is getting tickets and ordering fan club products then it's great to join, but if having the latest info is important to you then it's not really a benefit.

However international membership is cheaper than domestic so there's that.

*oh also the international gives you playroom content which is a separate thing in the domestic FC. I don't go on playroom so I don't know the content of it so well.

Like Xianghua said, it depends on what you want with it.
The international FC has everything of both Japanese FCs, except the physical mag/goodies and the news mails.
But they're usually late with uploading. Can happen that they upload 2 months of blog entries all at once. Sometimes they're faster.
E.g. the mentioned DNA previews - they were uploaded, just two days later.
Tho the international costs just half as much as the Japanese main FC, Koda Gumi, and is pretty cheap altogether.
