I still feel like their break-up was part of a plan of avex to release all those DAI CD'S... LOL. And then bring them back again... :rolleyes

It's scary how there was a rumour of DAI getting back together on 9.29.10 but they did it two years ealier than suspected.

Anyone else seen the footage from Yoyogi in Sept? It's up on JPS, so you should go get it. :) I teared up a little bit seeing them together again.

On a side note, I don't like all the tweaks they made to the arrangements this time around...seriously, those ridiculous drums in Fukai Mori need to gtfo. And Ban-chan's got 5 too many backup singers.

^I agree with the too many backup singers part, but I thought the slightly different arrangements were refreshing, since they almost always perform the songs like the album versions.

What's your opinion - if DAI releases a new album in the future, will they continue with their original naming scheme (i.e., the album title will start with an "e" from NEED YOUR LOVE) or will they start a new pattern to celebrate their renewal?

I would hope for tradition's sake they would continue with it...but in the same breath, I wouldn't mind if they started over fresh. :)

Finally! News of a song. This summer will this year is going to be interesting jmusic wise.

Now that DAI are back together, I wonder if Van is still going to continue her solo career, as a side-project, or if DAI is back full-time... Hmm...

I did like Van's recent album that she released. But I do prefer DAI's material more though, lol.

I'm guessing her solo career will be put on hold - with artists, it seems to be a "one at a time" thing.

Sounds selfish, but I'm glad Tomiko's solo career is put on hold. She has good songs on her own but they won't beat most of DAI's anytime soon.

I need a new single from DAI soon.

It's been too long since "TAO" was released.

Anyways, I just hope their comeback single will be great and awesome, cus I love their music so much. :D

They quite possibly have 3 new songs in the works! I went to their concert in Sapporo on 3/25 and they played a new song for us, MerroMerro (I think that's what Van-chan said...) IT WAS AWESOME. Be prepared for a song with the intensity of their early work, finally... Like... Desire meets Kusou ryoudan.

I wish I'd taken notes about the set list, the played a lot of songs that they don't usually perform, like Kagakusha no yoru and Raven, and they were amazing! Ryo also sang his song Tsure tsure naru mama ni, it was so much fun!

They told us to expect a release in June, so be ready!

I remember Van Tomiko performed "Flower" at a-nation 2006, but it's been awhile since they have performed as DAI on a-nation.
