Thank god that dark pic isn't the real cover. It isn't nearly as bad as some covers I've seen (even from Kylie), but it's not something I'm a fan of. But I do love the actual cover. It's similar to 2 Hearts', at least I think it is.
I'm surprised about the actual song though. I was expecting something electro-poppy like most of her stuff. It isn't bad, per se, but I was expecting something much more since they claimed it would be the next CGYOOMH or something like that. The video was very fitting, however, the song still needs to grow on me. Yet the prospect of Kylie doing Alternative Rock is pretty appealing to me. |

I've gotten a little more used to 2 Hearts now, though I'd like it much more without the Woo!s. It'll be interesting to see what kind of remixes it'll get; I hope there will be a more traditional club version.

I could bet tho that the tracklist on it is messed up, track 05 sounds like the studio version to me rather than some remix. I think track names for 04 & 05 have been switched up by whoever ripped the CD .... anyways, I'm still a bit dissapointed in "2 Hearts", IMO it's not the perfect material for a comeback single. somehow I'm getting the feeling that Róisín Murphy's Overpowered will be the album of 2007 for me instead of Kylie's, but I'm still hoping Kylie will surprise me :P |

I really like Like A Drug on first listen but The One doesn't seem as strong to me. Then again, I've only listened to it once so it's not much to judge from. :laugh

I love both new previews, but at the moment Like a Drug is my favourite. It seems the album is going to have some good Dance Kylie, even though the first single has more of an experimental feel.

I downloaded the Megamix, and it's alright. None of the songs stand out to me yet, they just sound like typical Kylie electro-pop (of course with the exception of 2 Hearts, which still hasn't grown on me), but not bad at all. I'm sure it will be a great album, but what I really want are some standout tracks. Every album needs those, or it's just mediocre.

album sounds pretty promising and there are lots of different sounding tracks, there's a bit more acoustic sounding tracks than on last few albums & a few very fergie/gwen sounding tracks like Heart Break Rock or Nu-Di-Ty. "Like A Drug" , "In My Arms" , "Cosmic" & "Wow" are that sound good to me, but the best sounding song to me is "All I See" :D I'm personally going to buy the album, but I'm gonna wait it out a bit to see wheter a special edition will be made or something. |

When we (me and my mum) heard '2 Hearts' on the radio for the first time we were arguing whether it was Kylie or not. Sometimes it sounds like her but mid-sentence she'll suddenly sound different! When the host announced it was Kylie we were both like 'Wow!'. What ever happened to that Scissor Sisters collaberation? (Even though I don't like them).

Wow I'm impressed having heard all those previews.. When I heard 2 Hearts I liked it and all but I was scared Kylie was straying away from electronic (which why I fell in love with her music in 2001).. I had been hoping for material like "Can't get you out of my head", "On a night like this", "Come into my world" etc.. but now that I've heard all those previews I'm happy.. there is very strong solid electronic material in there too. I loved all the tracks surprisingly! and 2 Hearts has grown on me so much! I'm very happy with Kylie's new album!!
Something makes me wish she'd get extensions though.. I love her with long hair.. |

"2 Hearts" single is out in Europe, so the b-sides have leaked. the b-sides serve as bonus tracks outside EU.
"I Don't Know What It Is" is nice, but "King or Queen" is definitely better because it has more of a electronic sound. I'm sorta iffy about posting them here because they are going to get a US release thru iTunes? |

I think "Wow" would make the perfect follow-up single, but it wouldn't have been the perfect lead single for the album ("Like a Drug" would have been the one imo), i think upbeat single works better as a follow up to something more serious. like with Fever, I feel that "Love at First Sight" was the perfect 2nd single to follow "CGYOOMH" :D I skimmed over some kylie fan forums and I was surprised to see a lot of negative opinions about The Kylie Show. sure the in-between jokes were cliche & cheesy (the one with the nuns made me gringe, that joke was so played out lol), but I thought overall they were ok (I liked the first one & the one with dannii the best). I thought overall the performances were awesome (tho I suspect lip-synching in Wow?) & Kylie looked radiant. only one I wasn't really feeling was the Sensitized one. |

The show was stunning and very entertaining, I loved all the performances and most of the sketches although some little things annoyed me like her over made up face overdosed on botox. I don't care what the people at Kylie forums think as most of the people at her fan forums piss me off which is why i'm not active in any of them.

technically the album has been fully leaked, there are CD-rips of varied quality available for each of the album track except for few of the bonus tracks.
but there's a not a full, consistent album rip out yet but I'm guessing there'll be one within a week at most. the album is amazing & everything besides 2 Hearts is great :D |

X is awesome, I don't know if it'll end up topping Fever to me in the long run but it's still an excellent album regardless. I'm definitely going to buy it now, but I'm going to wait a bit if I can get a good deal or if a special edition emerges or something.
I still can't get over "2 Hearts" tho , even if the song has grown on me a bit. my expectations were probably set too high tho, I remember reading some inital reports/articles that stated "2H" rivals "CGYOOMH". and the letdown from that was too much for me :P |
