Although I am happy, Avex seriously needs to be kicked xD If they're gonna announce something they should only mention it when it's 100% correct info LOL, then again that would just leave us in more suspence so...Not like this matters anyways ahaha! One special news about the announcement of the change

Last night before the official homepage announced the news, Kaz(the fan club chief) said Ayu is gonna have some big news to tell. And after that, some TA members suspected that to be Ayu's gonna marry Tomoya

I think that this album will be very good, but many will go from incredibly happy to sad when they discover that the album isn't even DONE yet.

I find that the trend with Ayu-stuff and Ayu-fans.. is that somehow.. with all the facts.. people will find a way to dislike the material. x.x

Makes sense. Sounds like typical Ayu. She said once in an interview that if she's given three months to do the album, she'll end up cramming it all into the last three days! XD Procrastinator! I love her! (XD I'd probably do the same thing). Not to mention, (miss)understood sounded like it was planned, written, and recorded all in a week. She had her single songs, and then threw in all those GEO compositions. This doesn't seem that much different. I'm surprised that it's not 16 tracks, but given the time frame, it's expected, I guess. (haha did that even make sense? lol). I hope she includes a few interludes, too. It'd be nice if she had 7 new tracks on top of the ones she was going to use for the mini, and then rounded it out to 16 in total after including interludes. I'm so excited for her, and it seems that she's really got her creative edge back! This whole situation SCREAMS "Ayu!" and I think that's why everyone is so pleased with it. She's taking complete control over her career and doing things her own way, and I think it's safe to say, we're all happy that she's doing that. Gives me a pang of nostalgia -- reminds me of the good ol' days, when anything Ayu did made (or broke =O) my day! Needless to say, I'm a very happy boy right now! w00t~ AYU I LOVE YOU!

oh yes. and I think it's funny that the theme so far is "Secret." She might just be using it as a front to build up hype so she can change everything last minute -- album length, theme, title, the works! XD This is so exciting!!!!! Can't wait! ^O^

Despite the fact it had a long time for recording I think.

So I expect Secret to be really awesome. Like greggerz said, Ayu is really taking control. So expect a totally Ayu-ized album. :D The thought of it is exciting. A month to go.

CDJapan have now adjusted their pricing - it also appears the catalogue numbers are different. I had it in my cart (order not placed yet) when it was a mini-album, and while the info still showed up the link to the product was dead.

Anyway - thats what pre-orders are. Prices, content, etc are always subject to change.

I did the same thing, my links was broken, too. I'm quite sure that there'll be an email announcement about it soon, they're probably compiling it as we speak, hehe.

and btw cdjapan replied my email 30 mins ago, and the guy said they will cancel all the orderes and we'll have to preorder the album again... in addition we'll be receiving their emails in 1-2 days. I can't wait for their email, so i just reordered the album a few mins ago..

I dun think so.. I guess when KyahRyorin was checking at cdjapan, they haven't canceled the order yet.

Personally I dun mind cdjapan changing stuff for me... but some people may think raising price = more expensive.. If they just automatically correct the orders they may receive lots of email for canceling the albums.. It's more convenient afterall to just let customer reorder the stuff.. If you like album you'll reorder it anywayz (just like me)..

Therefore, the mini-album was cancelled from your order 10101114388.

*If the mini album was the only item that was included with your order,
then your order itself was cancelled. If that's the case, you will no
longer find the order under "Order Status/Details/History" in Customer Account.

Now, speaking about her 8th album, please find below the links to the 2
versions of album.

Version A (CD + DVD)
Item Price: 3,800yen

Yes, when the first press has sold out the price of the album will be reduced by $10 because then there's no poster.

I think YesAsia are pretty retarded in what they are doing, they should definately have the option for people to buy the album without a poster, too ... instead of raising the price of it with $10.

The poster on YesAsia is a first press item, it's just that they charge extra money for it ... CDJapan does not.

Well, I don't think a poster is such a brilliant bonus that I'd spend an extra $7 on it (comparing the current Secret price to their (miss) understood CD+DVD), especially since it could end up being a photo I don't like. Since I definitely want to be shipped the actual album as soon as it's released, it looks like I'll be turning to CD Japan. How's their shipping to Europe? Undamaged products, arrives within a decent period of time even if you pick plain Air Mail instead of the more expensive options?

Air Mail from CDJapan is 1200y for me, which is the equavilient of the free shipping option at YA for orders above $40. But it differs on where you live, it can be checked easily from your shopping cart. Paying for air mail shipping + CD from CDJapan is cheaper than paying for the CD only from YA, at least for me.

I don't think cdjapan are happy because of the new release, but because they will earn more money. besides, this change is a mess for them, they will have a lot of work witrh these pre-orders been broken...

as regarding the news themselves.... umm, i don't like what avex has done. if they knew in the first place it was going to be a full length album, it's clear they have made this to increase the suspense and the sales

if not, they have changed it because they have seen maybe, that the sales would not be that good

or they just put the news of mini album, if that went good, the mini album would have been released, and AH would have more songs for their previous releases, storaged.

because i don't think the matter is AH wanted to say more things, or tell more secrets.

you cannot add 6 songs in 20 days period, (or create). If that has been the case, i would be really doubtful of the quality of those songs.

i don't think the rest of the album is being rushed. Considering that ayu has lots of unreleased tracks, i think what is left is just the lyrics, the vocal and the arrangement :yes
