I'm crazy about FREE! Destination nowhere was ok. In the end, i realized that it's not ERIKA that makes me loved FREE so much, it's because the song is composed by COZZi, same composer who did quite a few songs for YUI. I guess it COZZi that i loved not ERIKA :P But if she's going to use COZZi's songs in her future album, i'll be more than happy to listen to it and i bet i'll loved it!

There's so many connection between YUI and Erika!

- They both have played Kaoru Amane in Taiyou no Uta.
- They both have COZZi as their main composer.
- YUI's song was the theme song of Erika's movie Closed Note.

I'm quite surprised to know that they have the same composer most of the time. I LOVE Erika's music, but I don't really like YUI's. I think it's YUI's voice that I don't enjoy.

For me, it's the opposite. It's Erika's voice I don't like - something about it seems unsuited for music (I feel like she needs more vocal lessons...a lot more lessons). I think YUI ought to stick to singing and her guitar and Erika should remain close to acting, with maybe an occasional song if needed.

i love both artists, but i like erika's voice a bit better, lol. it's less high pitched compared to YUI's. :P

I like ERIKA's voice, but I like YUI's voice better, and I like YUI's songs, but I like ERIKA's songs better...

IMO, Erika's vocals are better. :D And her songs are better. I listened to Yui and I didn't really like what I heard. Although there was a ballad that was pretty.

YUI's specific genre is acoustic pop/rock, but I'm not sure what Erika's specific genre is. She hasn't released enough music to let me pinpoint the genre, but so far, I get a pop/rock vibe from her. She's definitely more pop than YUI, but both have a kind of "light" voice (if that makes sense). Kaoru Amane is the main reason for their comparisons, right?

Erika will return to Japan once again sometime in June this year. Apparently she and her boyfriend Tsuyoshi Takashiro will be there to support Hidetoshi Nakata, a former football player (and a good friend of Takashiro) in his first friendly match since retirement.
If Erika does come back, she will also meet with workers at Stardust Promotion to come to an agreement about her future work plans, if any.

Ku's "scandal" wasn't as bad as what ERIKA did, at least Japanese media didn't treat it as badly. Plus Destination Nowhere was released after the whole Closed Note thingy ^^ And well now that she broke up with her ex, I am hoping she'll continue to act and more importantly sing.
