dora and mindofjapan are like the most awesome sellers when it comes to buying cheap, good japan version CDs from them. But I would prefer mindofjapan over dora because he/she ships stuff in a box unlike dora where in some cases my CDs came cracked ._.

Let's see.... I pre-ordered Rule/Sparkle (CD+DVD & CD *GREEN Version*), NEXT LEVEL (CD+DVD), and an AT08 ayupan from YA! (^^); This ayupan is going to be my first ayupan. :)

A question here, do they sell brand new japanese version cds?

Try to get the Taiwan version of GUILTY. As for HK version, you will have to check... But I think all OS versions have the photobook but I'm not sure if it's limited or something. BUT just don't get the Singapore version if you ever see it.

i totally agree.... mindofjapan used to sell cds cheaper though... now his price is slightly higher... but the cds i used to get from him is always of good quality! dora's cd also has a higher tendency to have more scratches...

Finally, I just got my CDs this evening. Actually I would not know that my CDs has already arrived if not because of my sister (which she discovered a few minutes ago). My mom hid the CDs in her room and when I arrived home she's just pretending to be normal. My head is aching. Bad mom!huhuhu.. No mom, it's just a joke! But still I felt a little bit disappointed!

Anyway, I'm just a little bit frustrated because my "H" has no OBI but it's ok. I got ayu-mi-x II version acoustic orchestra first press with picture card anyway!! Still 3 more ayu-mi-x II to collect...But for now...I have to control my self.

Omg the mother act appeared agn!! Last time my sis and I also suffered this..my mum confessed she hid some cds and finally she gave it to us, but also gave us some scolding in return..:(

My Days/GREEN single was from CDJapan and poster in very good condition. But now I'm taking new album with 10$ discount + I am and Rainbow with 20% Discount so I'm really happy now^^ Just I'm only a student so my money are limited

I prefer Ya or CD Japan then with unfolded posters.
And I alsways take normal shipping. Why pay a lot of $ more just for a few days... I mean when I oredr via normal airmail at CD Japan I get it in ap. 3 days. At YA I get it normaly withing 1-2 weeks.

^depend on weight. Well last my order was 608gr and I paid 20$ for that weight. It was A complete 3cd+dvd+photbook

I just get the cute ones or of my fave outfits. I like trinkets and figures and after you get over their silly eyes they are quite cute (I was introduced to Ayupans through the animated show and it freaked me out a little! :tired ).

I don't have many, mostly the cutest ones in nice dresses ^_^ I don't feel the need to get all of them, I'm more casual with this kind of thing!

I saw a Cawaii magazine with ayu on the cover (A Complete)in a boutique. Because of my excitement I immediately bought it. When I opened it i was shocked because the captions are not Japanese but Chinese. It was too late I realized that it's a Taiwan version. I browse the wholepage and no ayu features! erRRr..I'm mad of myself! Fool me there was no Cawaii issue with an A Complete cover. hahahaha. But when I looked again the whole magazine it's so cool and funky! i like it but I hope it was Japan version so I can at least read the pages...After all I bought it for only $5.hehe

since i dont want to start a new thread, what are the major items you always want to purchase of ayumi? for example, for me it would be magazines, cds/dvds, concert items(just started collecting), ayupans(just started as well). im not trying to collect everything of her but having some is great. im not rushing to get all ayupans, im more interested in her concert ones ^^ how about U?

I’m kind of the same, I’ve got most things of Ayu’s that I want now though. Most I don’t have are too expensive or I can’t justify getting them just now!

I have collected:
~All albums (all but 2 are JP presses)
~A few concert DVDs (most are OS presses)
~About ¼ of her singles (mostly the ones I liked most from her back catalogue and I will buy every one she releases from now on)
~Ayupans that I like (I’m not even going to TRY to get all of these!)
~Tour goods that are practical or will look best on display
~A few books (I have Uraayu, DejiDeji and a magazine)

Ayu is very hard to collect “everything” from. I’d go so far to say that it’s impossible (unless you’re very lucky or rich!) to get all her music and goods now. I just get the things I like most because I’ll never have a full collection anyway :P

For me it depends what phase I have XD
In the beginning I started only with CDs/DVDs. Then someday I bought my fisrt Ayupan from yahoo SG and felt in love XD (soon i bought also the a museum ayupan along with the pamphlet) So i started to collect Ayupans and with all the ayupans on the way+reserved I only miss 2 Ayupans now (of the standart size ayupans; i also miss the 4 big ones and 1 hi-chew strap^^)
That was also the time I started to collect concert items, but mostly the pamphlets (only miss one now^^) and phonestraps, I try to collect a phonestrap from every concert^^ (but i still miss most of the a-nation ones and some older <.<)
in 2005/2006 I had a huge magazine phase because I had a friend who bought every magazine and he bought 1 for me too XD That´s why I have almost every magazine from this 2 years^^
I also hab my phase of Posters, but now I am not so keen on them... they only get dust in their tubes anyway XD
So for now I buy all her CDs/DVDs /allthough I still don´t have PCDL XD) especially that now I can order through mu-mo and get the TA extras^^
I try to complete Ayupans.
I try to buy at least a few goods of every tour/cdl/a-nation

I only want CD's. Everything else doesn't interest me too much.

EDIT: I own all albums so far (except for NEXT LEVEL), all BEST albums, nearly all singles minus all the 8' singles and kanariya. And I only buy ONE version of the singles. No use for buying two/four/4290745209752395 versions of the same single because of a different cover and stuff like that.

I might mention that it took me a long time to like Ayupans because the first time i heard of them was on the Ayupan show where it looks really creepy and speaks in a earpiercing voice. I didn't like them for a long time, only from last year :P

I love the Ayupan show! It took me years to track down all the episodes, and I still watch them.

I like to collect a little bit of everything. I curently own:

- All studio albums (I think my Memorial Address album is the only OS version)
- most singles (I don't collect the 3" ones or the different covers of singles, like H, and I only buy one version of a single, usually the CD+DVD version)
- All ayupans (excluding limited ones, including hi-chew ayupans and some Sega phone straps)
- Ayupan merchandise (pencil cases, pencils, cups, metal tins, clocks, stuffed puppy plushes <maron, crea, etc>, phone frame)
- Concert merchandise (most of AT06 goods, mostly phone straps and wristbands of other concerts, some pamphlets,
- Concert DVDs - (only missing A-nation dvds and Concert Tour 2000 vol. 1)
- Albums "bonuses" (Guilty eko-kairo, A complete poster, mirror, towel and stickers, Next Level poster, pass case and travel pouch)
- Ayu unofficial photos
- Team Ayu magazines (only missing #1 :thud)

I have too much ayu stuff, might need to sell off some more. T_T

Actually, My Ayu collection of CDs is pretty incomplete. I don't have many singles... Rule/Sparkle (jackets B & C), A (Red disc), and M are the only singles I have in physical form. I've downloaded a lot from iTunes, so I may have the title tracks from several singles, but I don't think I have any complete digital singles. I have all Ayu's albums in digital or physical form except for (Miss)understood and Secret. The only compilation I have is A BALLADS. And I have all remix albums except for ayu-mi-x II (any of them), excerpts from ayu-mi-x 3 CD001, The other SIDE (any of them), and the extended/dub/instrumentals from ayu-mi-x 6. And I don't have any DVDs (at all). I'd probably have a lot more if prices were a lot better...

The AT06 Ayupans were the first Ayupans that come along with a DVD release and were sold out very soon. Ppl weren´t prepared that they were out of stock so soon.

omgosh u guys, they just told me to pay $360 to ship my items from my middleman T-T i emailed em and told them, thats insanely ridiculous to pay for items that are worth way cheaper. so i told them to change it to SAL, id rather wait 2 months than pay for that much!

i even have the feeling that there aren't even many sets of them to start with....seeing the comparision from her AT07 and AT08 ayupans, which can be found easily on auction sites.

well, shipping from japan aren't cheap to start with, and normally they would use EMS, it's safer. and they have really good packaging, so the items will be safe and sound.

which middleman are u using? and what did you bought? i assume you bought the musical box right? they will have to wrap extras layers to protect it, so that could be part of the reason why it's USD$360

i guess its my fault, my stuff included magazines too so i can see why but lesssoned learned. i use japamart as my middleman.

Even so.......no type of packaging and shipping should total up to $360. Seriously, for that much they better be flying from Japan and showing up at my doorstep with the package in their hands and a letter from Ayu thanking me for my purchase.

The shipping would have to be WAY less than what they quoted, right? According to this site, the package would be equal to a 29Kg package in terms of difficulty to ship if this were the case!

Can they send the mags separately to lower the cost? I wouldn't think it needs to be pack in much beyond cardboard and wrapped in plastic to prevent water damage! Maybe next time contact the eBay seller japan_ssdyuk (think that's the spelling) as he ships free on SAL shipping after you spend $USD100 in his store. He may be able to offer a middleman service for you?

yea im pretty upset that i had to use surface mail since thats so unsafe T-T i asked them to separate the package to make it cheaper for me but they stated they cant do that since its already packaged (cheap ...BUTTS) even surface cost $145. itll be my last time being with them. ima go to cresent shop now since most peeps use it here. the package did include 12+ mags but i seriously didnt think it would cost that much. shipping within japan for 12 magazines cost $12! *sighs* ima take a break from buying from YAJ unless ayumi releases stuff from mu-mo (gona use cresent tho)
